Overall, it was good. Free parking and three meals were included. I didn't have time to see the beach. There weren't many Asians staying there. It's very close to the airport, and it seems like you can also get there by bus. It was much better than I expected, mainly because it included meals.
They don’t speak English all information and entertainment is in Italian and nothing translated for others.Very hard to understand 😞
Balance di Conte is perfect for a wind-down holiday. Plenty of sunbeds at the private beach, the water is warm. The food is excellent, a wide choice (even salads) and friendly, efficient service. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.
We were in Baia di Conte end July-beginning of August 2025 for 2 weeks. I think it deserves a bit of a more accurate review to really explain what is good and what less of this place. Let's start from the negatives, that are few, but important. The hotel is part of the Futura Vacanze chain. but we did not know when booking. We tried to book directly with the hotel, but our booking in some way was...
We stayed for 2 weeks this time. This year was far more enjoyable than last year as the entertainment staff were simply beautiful people. My daughter and I cannot speak Italian but the staff really tried to communicate with us and my 9 year old loved meeting them around the resort day and night. They would have a big hello for her and tried to include her, this was without her taking part in the...

Luxurious hotel, with spacious and clean rooms. Concierge was attentive and good natured.
Great view from the room. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to nice restaurants.
The location was perfect and the hotel restaurant very delicious
We spent two nights here. The hotel is located within a pleasant walking distance from the old town. The staff were kind, and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was satisfactory. Although the hotel was cleaned daily and appeared to be clean overall, unfortunately, there was a huge cockroach living in our room 😞 which was very frightening for me. On the last night, my husband somehow managed to escort...
Loved the pool and had a great view of the ocean, a bit out of the way but we didn’t mind walking into town. The hotel is a bit older, so the interiors aren’t as modern as you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.
A perfect selection for foreign trackers to Alghero who enjoy high end hotels without being overly pretentious. The too
S are comfortable however the beds are terrible firm and should all be outfitted with memory foam covers. They also sit a bit low to the ground but people in Europe tend to be shorter in general. The breakfast buffet was great with many options.
Such an amazing experience!
First - as I am pregnant, asked for an early check in - no problem! Second, the pool is so clean that even in my state I was able to swim.
Food was amazing, service, reception team… Rooms are super clean. Literally no remarks! If we ever come back to Sardinia, that would be the same hotel!

Brilliant location and great staff were arrived late at nite and had no reservation and got a room nite staff so helpful highly recommend and great choice for breakfast beautiful veiws of the beach
The room furnishings/bathroom were very outdated; there was no safe in the single room. The rooms with sea views were very noisy due to street traffic, truck deliveries, and the beach bar.
Breakfast was adequate, but the same every day.
The staff were all very nice and friendly! Fresh towels and room cleaning were provided daily.
Short 4 night break with my wife. Great location for beach lovers as the beach is literally across the road. Pool is fine, deep for most of it, but surrounding area is limited. Team at reception were very helpful when needed, no issues. Rooms were good, no double bed but two singles pushed together, not ideal, but ok. Air-con worked fine. Breakfast was buffet style, so you probably need to be down...
Overall, it was okay. In the Baltic states, this hotel would barely have 3 stars, but we’ve had worse hotels in Italy. The worst part was that they ask for money for the beach chairs, and you’re not even allowed to sit with your own towel on the beach, which is so greedy. The lifeguards patrolling the beach were super nice though. Also, the other staff at the hotel were really nice, both at the reception...
The price-quality ratio is okay, considering all accommodations in Sardinia are quite expensive. However, compared to other hotels, I don't think this one deserves a 4-star rating. The biggest problem is the doors, which literally slam shut with a hydraulic pump. Hearing doors slam shut early in the morning is extremely annoying. Hearing water running from the room above also made it impossible to...
I liked that the hotel had its private beach.
The furniture in our room was a bit outdated, nevertheless the bed was very comfortable.
The staff is friendly.

Beautiful hotel, strategic location, excellent breakfast!
The hotel is very well located in the Latin Quarter with access to the metro.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant on 9th floor for breakfast. Would recommend
Great hotel. Stayed with family, nice spacious rooms, clean and well kept. Staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast at the top floor with panoramic views is lovely. Nice big choice of breakfast with lovely coffee served. Location is just minute away from port, and few minutes away to historic city. If you rent a car would recommend to book parking with them in advance as parking on street is nightmare
Although the hotel is very well located the room was extremely small and basic with no real amenities other than a bed. The shower was not great without much pressure or hot water. The hotel also does not look anything like the pictures. Although they advertise parking it is very limited and usually booked.
Convenient location, there are buses to the airport and Poseidon Cave downstairs, and you can walk to the harbour and the old town

Impressed with this hotel as the staff were very helpful and professional. The hotel was kept very clean, and although the decor is very late 70s/early 80s, it's been maintained very well. It's also reassuring reading reviews from other guests who have returned time and again proving it's a great place to stay.
Located opposite a wooded area through which you walk to a great beach. Only 10 bus/car...
A little dated but in a good way! Staff excellent, very nice and helpful. A bit of a 70s vibe and we ended up enjoying it. A little bit out from the centre alghero but bus stop a couple of minutes away from hotel.
A great hotel located 3 km from the old city center. On Wednesdays, there's a lovely market nearby. The breakfast is extensive, and the coffee is delicious. You can choose from espresso, cappuccino, or Americano, and perhaps even more.
The internet worked well.
We hadn't received new towels. We reported it to reception, and within 10 minutes, we had new towels in our room. A great solution.
Free...
Breakfast was pretty bland - typical club med style fair - factory style
Hotel furnishings a bit dilapidated and very out dated.
Bed mattress - like a futon...very hard
Everything worked and was clean - but no glamour
staff are good though
Very good service. Clean, nice room. Delicious breakfast. Good location, beach just across the road, town centre just 40 min to walk or 10 by bus. Bus stop just across the road.
One minus for room, in the bathroom no ventilation and after shower feels like you in steam room and of course very hot inside.
Nice rooms great front reception staff very nice breakfast and very close to beach and one of the cleanest pools ive ever seen .

Place charming. Breakfast excellent and oroploe extremely kind and welcoming
Very clean hotel. Rooftop pool included, but the water was very cold. The first set of towels is included. Fitness and game rooms are on the ground floor. The room has a minibar, kettle for coffee and tea, and slippers.
We arrived very early at the hotel, around 8:30. We were able to leave our luggage and go to the beach.Toothbrush and shaving kit provided in the bathroom.
The Hotel Alma is in a fantastic location right beside the beach. The rooms are clean and adequate for a short break. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Pool was really nice too.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and rooms were clean and well-equipped. The only negative was that housekeeping didn't clean or replace a couple of coffee mugs that we had used. Otherwise all good.
We stayed in room 401 on the 4th floor. The room was very spacious, the shower was nice, and we had a large balcony with a view of the sea. The bed was very firm but comfortable. We did have two twin beds which is okay as we knew it was a possibility. The pillows are also a very firm memory foam. One important thing to know is that breakfast service is also on this floor from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. and...
The hotel is actually behind a not so nice looking apartment block, so we had to drive up a shared driveway, but the entrance of the hotel after that is very good. Staff are very helpful. Convenient location and very clean, but property is tired and could do with an upgrade.
Our room (family room, ocean view) was large and had a stunning view from the balcony. Cleaning staff very friendly. Food service a little slow, but fabulous pizzas. Hotel and room starting to show their age a little, but overall enjoyed our stay
Nice hotel all round
Nice hotel - the rooms are a bit dated but are nice otherwise. The restaurant serves nice food although the service is a little brusque. Not much is explained on arrival…. Best to book access to roof terrace, and space for dinner. Breakfast is busy and has a good range of food on offer, and the service is more friendly
Difficult to find parking. Cars are everywhere. Towels for the pool is not free and we did not get any info about this. The hotel is a 4 star hotel, this is not correct since 4 stars hotels have higher standards.
Lovely hotel and great staff. The air conditioning was great. The only actual downside was the constant noise that was coming from the wall/ceiling. It was very disruptive
I would not rate the rooms as 4 star but a 3 star
Shower is small not many toiletries for use

Dated but renovated hotel. Spacious rooms. Large and functional disabled bathroom, but cold because it is not heated. Good cleanliness of the room and the building. Friendly and helpful staff. Central location. Affordable price for the season. I will gladly return.
Our room was 408. It was great! Staff is amazing, so helpful and nice! Everything is very clean and this hotel offers waaaay more than it costs!!! It is a great value for the money. The swimming pool, the rooftop, the food, the balcony - everything is awesome! And the best location in the town!
The room was ok, the location was good however we believed we had reserved a car park according to our reservation details. When we arrived there was no parking available. When we challenged this we were told someone must have made the booking for us which was both irrelevant and incorrect. It took over an hour to find a car park. We would not have booked this hotel had we known there was no carpark...
Great location and rooms are in good condition. Proper breakfast. It is possible to enjoy some cocktails with city views in the evening. Highly recommended.
I have to praise this hotel! The entire staff working at the reception is extremely helpful! They helped us with choosing beaches, organizing excursions and everything else that came to mind. Sometimes we were even annoying with questions, but they were very helpful and ready to answer our every request.

This place is perfect for couples, quiet, close to Alghero town. Nice beaches are 1 hour drive up to north. Breakfast really good, big swimming pool .
The entire place needs a facelift, looks a little from the ‘70s style. The breakfast was kind of expensive. Lots of free parking places.
The service was really good.
You need to have a car if you want to explore the beaches.
On a side note: if you want food outside the local culture hours… just go to Lidl or other supermarkets…
Great experience, the pool was very quiet to be Saturday, not complaining, perfect for a day of relax. Unfortunately there wasn’t much availability for lunch, and considering that you are not allowed to bring food from outside and they only really offer salads and lasagna (pre-cooked) they should be more flexible and allowing to have lunch at any time.
We stayed at the accommodation for just one night, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff, the receptionist, the waiters, were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was ideal - across the road from the ocean and the ocean-side sidewalk leading into the old town. Lots of restaurants nearby and a small beach across the road. The hotel itself is quiet, the room comfortable, the gardens beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Great Hotel, close to seafront and old town. Spotless. Great value for money. Nice balcony facing garden. Tea and coffee making facilities, always a plus. Air conditioning. Good shower. Staff could not have been better. Car hire at reception, easiest ever. Let down a little by breakfast. Could do better. Would definitely stay again. Parking around the streets no problem.
Our stay was pure magic – a breathtaking room and service filled with warmth and care. Heartfelt thanks to the management and team for turning guests’ wishes into unforgettable memories with such dedication and attention!
The hotel is modest, it looks like a family hotel. The breakfast is good, the waiters are friendly. The women at the reception are rude, arrogant, they don't know English, maybe they do, but they won't speak in English. They didn't want to reserve Pelosa beach for us. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the woman at the reception shouted at my sister, just because she asked if the hotel had an elevator...
Perfectly positioned hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
A 3 star hotel, but 5 star service. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful! They organised taxis, expeditions, a hired car and sent me to the most fantastic restaurant. I booked a room with a sea view, which helped! The view at breakfast was equally as nice.

Lovely boutique hotel . Clean, updated and very nice staff. In the middle of a residential area so parking is tough to find. Walking distance (15 min) to center of town where the action is. Unfortunately no pool so we ended up changing after a few days to a different hotel-resort
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice residential location. Convenient to the center of town and the waterfront
The staff was very nice and helpful. Can't complain much except for it was a bit noisy when trying to sleep, the ac was very loud and you could hear the neighbour cough, so bring earplugs. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.

Overall the Alghero Resort is not bad, it is just passed its heyday and needs some serious maintenance: Driving up the country road leading up to the resort, following an almost makeshift sign with construction fence on the left partially covered with tattered tarp already made a not-so-good impression. It's situated in countryside a few kilometres outside of the beautiful city of Alghero. It's a bit different from usual hotels, in the sense that it has more of a rustic, farmhouse feel. Little more toilet paper would have been nice.
