We loved this hotel! From its lovely relaxing atmosphere, really friendly helpful owner Giancarlo and Mario. Coffee was excellent, hotel was spotlessly clean. So close to a beautiful beach, shops, restaurants, atmosphere- everything you could possibly need! We plan to return and really couldn't recommend it highly enough

Just spent three nights at the delightful Hotel Alguer. We found it well appointed and close to the beach, bars, shops and restaurants. You could be on the beach in 2 minutes and at the same location were a couple of nice beach/cocktail bars. Alghero town is only a pleasant 10 minutes stroll along the front and offers some great places to eat. The hotel itself is well thought out. Rooms are a good size lots of thought has been put into them. Parking is either free on the street outside (we did this once) or there about room for six cars securely inside hotel. Giancarlo and his colleagues are all a pleasure to deal with so I’d happily return.

Just back from Hotel Alguer today. The place is spotless. It is one minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the old town. The owner Glancrlo and nephew Mario welcomed us like we were family. The both of them were exceptionally friendly and always were on hand to help us with our questions. The breakfast is a continental style and Mario is so laid back and always has a smile. The hotel was just right in the centre of Alghero and there is restaurants and supermarkets near by if you want to bring a samba to the beach with you. The weather was fab, the food toooo good, wine so cheap and Hotel Alguer is the place to stay for that friendly touch.... Thank you Guys from the Irish girls. We will be back x x x

Small friendly hotel in a great beachside location. Many nice bars and restaurants nearby and only a pleasant 20 minute stroll into the historic centre. Also near bus stop to more picturesque beaches and the airport. Our hosts were so helpful in recommending places to eat and see. Lovely friendly people who made us feel so welcome.Lovely breakfast in the shade of the trees. Our second time here and we look forward to returning.

Lovely hotel is a quiet section of town, walking distance to the charming old city centre along the bustling waterfront are. The hotel owner is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great information on local places to visit. The room had a lovely wrap around balcony and was very bright and spacious. Breakfast, which can be enjoyed inside our in the garden area outside, was simple but enough to get the day started. Would definitely consider this hotel for future visits to Alghero.

This is a small and quiet hotel with a personal approach. Breakfast with very good coffee is served in the garden. The hosts are very helpful. We got good advice with restaurants. The room was very clean, the bed was good, and there was nothing to be improved. We parked the car in the street in front of the hotel, but there are also private parking spaces. It is next to the beach, and walking distance from the old city.

Very friendly owner and staff. Delicious and simple breakfast with funny motives in the cappuccino. Clean and big rooms and very close to the beach. Owner let us put our luggage in the lobby and called a cab.. All in all a perfect stay for a fair price

Excellent hotel both for its proximity to the sea and for the distance from the center reachable after a pleasant walk. Clean and functional room, basic breakfast, efficient and pleasant service thanks to the friendly managers Giancarlo and Pier Mario ready to give you help and advice. They also have a private parking area closed by a gate that is very convenient and safe. The holiday in Alghero was very pleasant thanks to the beauty of the sea, the evenings at the castle and the chat with the two friendly managers. Thanks, we'll be back!

Wonderful place where enjoy some days to visit Alghero. Familiar hotel with a kind and nice host who helps you to visit surroundings and choose best places.
