HORRIBLE THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE BEEN TO IN THE ENTIRETY OF EUROPE. Allow me to explain why:

- For starters the hotel is at a state where you cannot distinctively tell wheter or not it has just been built or is about to be abandoned, the walls are comepltely degraded, the evelator does not work, bars are abondoned.

- The rooms are nothing like the pictures DO NOT BE FOOLED, I recieved my room and my bed sheets had holes in them. The bathrooms are disgustung our bath had hairs in them, and the toilet looks abmysal

- The pool area is extremely loud and it CANNOT be deemed as relaxing to any extent, not to mention the pool where all drinks are dilluted with ridiculous amount of water. Being served a bad Coca Cola is a first for me considering it takes no effort or skill to make

These are just the main points I could write a university level report on why this hotel is a NO GO, the only decent thing about the hotel is the beach, which is all natural and the hotel has no control over. So in other words everything they touch turns into a disaster

Overall, it was good. Free parking and three meals were included. I didn't have time to see the beach. There weren't many Asians staying there. It's very close to the airport, and it seems like you can also get there by bus. It was much better than I expected, mainly because it included meals.

They don’t speak English all information and entertainment is in Italian and nothing translated for others.Very hard to understand 😞

Balance di Conte is perfect for a wind-down holiday. Plenty of sunbeds at the private beach, the water is warm. The food is excellent, a wide choice (even salads) and friendly, efficient service. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Don't believe the good rating, read first the English reviews (not those translated into English). First I will explain why the hotel is discriminating against international tourists. They have an events/activities team which organise games on the beach, at the pool and have a show every evening. Saturday is usually when new sets of tourists arrive so they have a Welcome Show. Everything is in Italian - which makes sense considering that the majority of tourists are Italians. However there were plenty of Polish, Germans, English, French or Romanian tourists. Unfortunately the MC - David - doesn't acknowledge them at all. He was asking, in Italian, where the new guests are from. Went through each Italian province, north to south, even asked about Vatican and San Marino. But not a simple question: are there people from outside Italy? Or to say in English: Welcome to our international guests! 5 simple words. Nothing. We were approached on our first day by 2 members of the entertainment team. When they heard that we are speaking English they just went away. That was all their interaction with us in the next 7 days. I've seen them go around talking to Italian guests, on the beach, at the pool, in the restaurant, inviting them for various games, advising what's next in the day. Not once someone came to us because they knew we speak in English. They were chatting with children, organising games for them, were taking children for walks, even had a show with children as performers. Nobody came to ask our son if he wants to participate. Poor him, he wanted to go to the show every evening hoping that one of team members will come to speak with him, invite to dance or participate in the games. And every evening he left sad and frustrated that he's ignored. They were going everywhere in the outdoor theatre, speaking with Italian kids, knowing many of them by name, chatting with them. And this discrimination applied to other international families, that's why they were not participating in games and not even bothering going for the evening show. Now about the hotel. First of all, on top of what you pay online, they will ask you for a resort fee - Tessera Club. Which I wouldn't mind paying if it was worthed. They say that this is for having tennis courts, pools, sunloungers available. All the things that Spanish or Greek resorts are providing in the normal price - I mean that's why we are booking a seaside resort. However, although those facilities are there, no one is telling you how you can use more than the pool and the sunloungers on the beach. Beach is sandy but when reaching the water is all rocks, so we went to the public beach where is all sand. There is a kyosk in front of the reception where we were getting ping-pong bats and balls. That theoretically has a schedule (a limited one) but even during those hours, many times you can't find there anyone. And still don't know how the tennis or paddle courts were working. Check-in is only from 5pm. If you

They gave us a room prepared for 2 people, even though we were 2 adults with 2 grown children. I explained the situation to them and they said that there was no one from the cleaning service at that time to give us linen. We slept on beds without linen and pillowcases without linen and dirty. The room was terrible, you could hear dozens of generators and the balcony was welded so that you couldn't go outside, the place where that infernal noise was coming from. The next day we went to the reception to change the room and the reception manager thought that I had thrown the card a bit rudely at the reception, which is why he also threw a card in my eye and told me to get out of the reception and that he had nothing to talk to me about. No excuse for sleeping like in a train station, quite the opposite. The attitude of the reception staff ruined any good impression I had of this hotel. We bought an all-inclusive stay and although there were only 2-3 types of drinks included, they served us even those with contempt, as if we were begging for alms. The attitude of these employees is certainly accepted by the managers. I also worked as a receptionist but I have never allowed myself such an atitude.

We were in Baia di Conte end July-beginning of August 2025 for 2 weeks. I think it deserves a bit of a more accurate review to really explain what is good and what less of this place. Let's start from the negatives, that are few, but important. The hotel is part of the Futura Vacanze chain. but we did not know when booking. We tried to book directly with the hotel, but our booking in some way was handled half by Futura and half by the hotel. We did some requests during the booking (adjacent rooms, we were 3 families, and we asked not to be on the ground floor), we did the booking in February for July, and even so basically none of our requests was granted. The problem most likely is the poor communication between Futura headoffice and the hotel, and we understood this happens often, with the result that the hotel staff has to deal with it. Believe me, they do it in the best possible way, but it feels like the main office gets the money, creates the problem, and leave the people there to sort it out. Not nice. Other negatives are the outdated character of the structure, somewhat rundown in parts and again, it is left to the people working there to make the most out of it. We never used the big pool during our stay, surely because of the wonderful sea, but in part also because the pool was really not in the best shape...
Last but not least, and this of course is something that the hotel has little control over, is the high percentage of rude clients, that became unbearable in August. Families with kids running on scooters in the restaurants. People getting monstruous amount of food at all time of day, with no limits or control, and often just throwing most away. I understand the all inclusive policy, but maybe it should be better thought...But I realize the main problem here is the terrible decline of general politeness level of humankind.
Now, going to the positive. As you may have guessed, THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE. They are all amazing. They work long hours, they have to deal with problems the did not create, they have to deal with so many rude and impossible clients (see the bartender beaten up because he was asking a 15 yo to show which bracelet he had- that determine which type of all-inclusive you have the right to...). I would like to thank personally all of them, really, they made the difference and they are THE ONLY REASON I GIVE 5 STAR to this place.
The food, despite being a buffet, was amazing, especially the first week of our stay. Varied, tasty, original.
The seaside was beautiful, water was clear but not the Caribbean type you may think of, due to the stony floor.
So, all in all, a wonderful holiday, this place has so much potential but not sure they will ever decide to invest enough to bring it to the full...

Not a 4 star hotel more like a 2 star. The room we were initially given had no view and overlooked the back of restaurant, a flat roof with air con units. The room was small and shower curtain was annoying and not very hygenic. The hotel is Italian only and does not cater for international guests. The kids club was also Italian only and my daughter was left on her own to enter a quiz all in Italian. We arrived at lunch time but could enter our room until 4.30pm! Just what you wanted after travelling since 5am!This was not displayed on the TUI website. The bread and croissants were always old and stale, and the drinks were terrible machine ones. The pizza was very good. The resort is in the middle of nowhere and very little activities, 45 mins to nearest town on the bus. The gym had lots of broken equipment. TUI support was supposed to respond within 30mins, but took days to get a response. Lots of maintenance issues. Rude hotel staff although the entertainment staff were very good. Very loud music until 11.30pm. The kids disco only started at 9.15pm! The sandy beach was very good. 10 mins walk from the hotel is a nature reserve, lots of trails and you can rent golf carts if you book in advance, this is not advertised anywhere.

We stayed for 2 weeks this time. This year was far more enjoyable than last year as the entertainment staff were simply beautiful people. My daughter and I cannot speak Italian but the staff really tried to communicate with us and my 9 year old loved meeting them around the resort day and night. They would have a big hello for her and tried to include her, this was without her taking part in the kids clubs. She had great fun dancing with them at night time. Photographers, receptionists, staff at pool bar, restaurants were so friendly to us. I also recommend the boat trip from Gabby’s team. Giambattista is a fantastic tennis/Padel coach he is an amazing and patient teacher. Just a great guy. We just can’t wait to come back again. It suggest more communication after booking with being a return visitor regarding room choice etc Also please create a room for guests who have checked out to shower and get changed in. See you soon
