Definitely want to come back again! Has great views and is very close to the main Taormina area.

Made a reservation at the patio bar just to step on to the spectacular property and see for ourselves. The vibe and atmosphere is amazing and worth the price of drinks to wander through the gardens and peek at the swimming pool!

Hotel was in a great location in Taormina.  Valet parking was very useful.  Breakfast was great - lots of traditional Silcilian items on offer including delicious cakes and easter biscuits.  Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel, renovated and very close to the heart of Taormina. The hotel offers beautiful views and the breakfast buffet is very good, offering several homemade cakes, eggs, and more. Good value for money. My room, however, had no view, which was a shame.

Very good. The guy at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a sea view balcony. It was really great. The swimming pool was also very good. The breakfast was also very rich. The room was not big but had all the facilities. The only downside was that there was no free water in the room.

The hotel has an amazing view of the coast and Mt Etna. And it is only a 5-10 minute walk down some stairs and hill to the main pedestrian street. Breakfast is good and can be enjoyed on the terrace with the view. One drawback is the shower is ridiculously small with a lightweight curtain that comes against you so there is no room to wash and water gets all over the floor.

The hotel is a bit tired; it needs to be modernized. I can imagine in the 50s/60’s it was the place to be in Taormina. There are many pictures around the hotel from that period showing the glamorous lifestyle then. This 120-year-old grand dame of a hotel is filled with character. It’s not shiny and new and WiFi is patchy in the rooms but it is ideally located and has a lovely pool area and gorgeous views.

The hotel is located at the very end of the main street. For those taking the bus up the mountain, you'll need to walk about 1.2 kilometers to reach the hotel. Very nice suite, amazing view of Etna, medieval theme is quaint, bed is ok, the wind at night makes the doors shake/noise, it’s right near the piazza/restaurants. We had little idea how high up the mountain this was, and the communication video regarding load in wasn’t to our suite, but reception (it’s a diffuse hotel). I had a wonderful stay at Medusa Suites in Taormina. The location in the historic center is perfect, and the interior design is beautiful and stylish. First, this hotel is not a hotel in the strict sense, and there is no 24-hour front desk (which caused us a lot of inconvenience later) Second, we booked the most expensive room type in this hotel, but it is very far from the sea and the volcano! It was so comfortable to stay in this place. Each three rooms has its own bathroom, all clean. The small but well equipped kitchen with coffee and some fetta biscottata, jams…was convenient. Only a couple of 100m to Porta Catania, one of two entrance gates to the town. You have to park the car at one of big car park, which was not cheap..
