Palazzo Vecchio Taormina in Taormina

We spent a wonderful four nights at Palazzo Vecchio in mid September. The location, just off Corso Umberto, was great. Up a few flights of stairs, it was set back and up from the road so was quiet, yet in the hub of restaurants/shops etc. Our room was large, comfortable, well taken care of throughout our stay, and had a nice view of the sea. Miriam was so very helpful in making our reservation, booking restaurants, and insuring we had a great stay. Antonio, the concierge, had a wealth of information about the area, was extremely helpful in organizing our stay with suggestions on day trips/restaurants/walks etc and was happy to make reservations for us for restaurants/beach clubs/and car service. Breakfast was included with our room and served at Monsú, a beautiful garden room restaurant. Armando, the maître d, and Andrea in the dining room, were wonderful as well. We enjoyed bantering with them at breakfast - which was excellent btw. We had dinner at Monsú as well, and are still thinking about the silky eggplant parmigiana appetizer and the salt crusted sea bass. The chef came out to say hello, a nice touch. One of the best features of this hotel is their rooftop bar which gives a panoramic view of Mt. Etna and of all of Taormina to the sea. It opens at 6pm and is a great place for cocktails and to watch the sunset. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

A beautiful hotel in the center of Taormina with great breakfast and excellent service .also the dinner was very good .the staffs of the hotel very helpful and nice .i would love to notice Mr Antonio at the reception and Mr Francesco from the restaurant was super nice and helpful, they make our stay there even much more comfortable and helped us with every question or problems we had .the roof top bar is just something to for sure you need to visit the view can stop you breath for a second .everything was so great and for sure when we be back we will stay at the same hotel .thank you so much for having us and for the great time you give us 🙏

The Hotel is the best in Taormina with spectacular views and amazing staff. The restaurant is delicious, quiet and chic. The rooftop bar is the best with fantastic views and delicious cocktails. It's very elegant. The palette is beige with historical decor and a wonderful spa too. Cherry on the cake, the spa on the ground floor will make the stay unforgettable. It's highly recommended, luxury at its highest!

Beautiful hotel close to the main area. The star to this property is the hotel staff from the concierge, to front desk and to the fabulous breakfast staff in the am. We had arrived late and the dining options were closing and kept the restaurant open for us and offered us a traditional Sicilian meal! First of many fabulous meals here. The roof top was great - we enjoyed a drink every night before dinner. A perfect stay for our week in Sicily!

This hotel is just so classically beautiful. The location is amazing - tucked away from the main hustle and bustle but just a few steps away from the main drag. The rooms were well stocked and beautiful, full of light. Very spacious and comfortable (the linens were divine).

We've had a wonderful experience in Taormina including an excellent stay at the Palazzo Vecchio. The hotel premises are very comfortable, but the service was really the highlight. We'd like to congratulate all the team, but also to make a special consideration for Antonio - the Concierge, who provided us with an outstanding support, making us feel at home with the best tips about the region attractions. Antonio is indeed a great person and a remarkable professional. We hope to come back very soon. Thank you.

Cleanliness, beauty, courteous and professional staff, well-located near Umberto street but a quiet retreat as well. Claudio at the front desk, Andrea in the restaurant were both superb. Breakfast above and beyond normal fare. Fruit, pancakes, frittatas, cappuccino, croissants, and on and on. A special place.

The Palazzo is a relative newcomer , situated off the main street , so quiet enough - it is just next door to a delightful little museum which is worth a look around. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds- although mine felt slightly too high for ease of getting onto. There is a pleasant internal bar and an excellent , if expensive restaurant. The front of house staff are very helpful and really give good advice on restaurants etc, they made us very welcome. Unfortunately there is no rooftop bar before the formal start of the tourist season , so you have to brave the crowds to find somewhere to sit during the day.

The hotel is hard to find, and the name is different from what is listed on Ctrip. Overall it's ok, except that the price is a bit high, which is a bit disappointing compared to expectations. But overall the services are pretty good!

Lovely small place, centrally located to the old town. Huge room and bathroom with wonderful toiletries. Bed was super comfortable. Windows opened. Excellent service. Charming place. It is upstairs from the street, thus you need to be able to walk up a flight or two of stairs. Loved it. We would stay there again.
