Hotel Continental in Taormina

Received the last room available at the last minute! Great hotel and beautiful area and property.

Clean room was small but we didn’t spend much time in it overall great location and very friendly staff

Our group had compilcated needs and these needs were all met. Nice hotel in great location off the main drag of Taormina.

The location is very good, get to the catherdral from the garden only takes 3 minutes. We can see Etna from our balcony. The Sky roof top restaurant is vey nice, good food and wine, with view of Etna. Breakfast is also there, very nice selections.

We were very satisfied with the room, located on the second floor. There wasn't the rooftop music we expected at night. A highlight was the complimentary lemonade at the front desk, and they could help call a taxi to the bus terminal (note that you should make sure the taxi fare is the same as what you agreed beforehand, as they might try to charge extra). We were initially directed up stairs by Google Maps, but after contacting the hotel, they informed us of a route that didn't require climbing stairs and arranged for someone to pick us up – a very helpful experience. Taormina is located on a hillside with a steep incline, making it quite a challenge to drag luggage around. There's a bus stop right outside Taormina train station; you can take a bus to the hillside or the top. A cashier will collect the fare when the bus is about to arrive – €1.10 per person to the hillside.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was newly renovated, with a beautiful design, a stunning bathroom, and a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our mornings. The location was perfect – just a short walk to the main pedestrian street, accessible through a peaceful, green garden. The service was outstanding, and the breakfast offered an impressive variety of delicious options. Everything felt fresh, welcoming, and perfectly maintained. We can warmly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to stay here again.

Very well run hotel with excellent staff. Good breakfast, well appointed rooms. Fabulous views. TIP - If travelling by train and do not want to get a taxi, take the bus to Taormina bus station and then walk along the main street. The hotel has a garden gate entrance. Look for this on Google. Do not follow Google maps walking directions from the station (it's a long steep walk on a rough track.....not good with a case!).

The best hotel in ara. 3 star is wrong, it is a very good 4 star. Location fantastic. Best breakfast for 10 EUR special offer - ever.
Very helpful staff. A sure win for stay in Taormina. Fantastic view from hotel terrace. 2 min walk to main street. U can really not go wrong chosing this hotel.

Great location friendly helpful staff. Plentiful varied and generous breakfast. Sky lounge a big plus great views.

Stayed one week as part of a Road Scholar tour. View of Mt. Etna from the roof top bar and restaurant is superb. Daily breakfasts are amazing. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely will return.
