BB Lighea in Messina

Great location, near the sea, ferry station and tram station are huge advantages as well.
Indoors are very beautiful and clean with air conditioning, WiFi and basic equipment.
What's really special about this place is the staff - Ms Tommasa and James - who are very helpful, welcoming, and available if needed (in person or via WhatsApp) and whose presence make you feel at home.
What also stands out in b&b lighea is the breakfast prepared and served by lovely Ms Tommasa including local delicacies and homemade marmalades. Highly reccomend!

I was invited to a wedding in Messina during the week of July 10-17, 2022.
My stay at Lighea B&B was exceptional: with courtesy, extraordinary kindness, Tomassa made my stay very pleasant. Late arrival from Catania airport on Sunday July 10, I was expected by Mr. James, his assistant. The breakfasts were very convivial and very good. The room was cleaned daily and the establishment was generally remarkably clean. An unfortunate incident meant that my return flight was canceled and I had to stay an extra night, which was no problem.
My room benefited from a small terrace which was very sunny at the end of the afternoon...delicious place to rest.

We stayed with Mrs. Tommaso from 9 to 12 September and I must say that she is a person of unique kindness! He showed us to our rooms and I have to say he exceeded my expectations even more! I had already fallen in love with the photos but in real life when I looked out onto the terrace and saw the view I said to myself wow what a show! The place is also very comfortable, the rooms were perfect the professionalism was beyond expectations! And waking up and being able to taste the granita with cream made by Signora Tommaso is priceless! He makes you feel like you are family and that is something we really appreciated! If you go to Messina I recommend it because you won't regret it! It's been a wonderful day ❤️

Tommasa hosted me for a couple of days. She and James were amazingly welcoming she made me feel at like at home from the first moment I entered until the end of my stay. Every morning she would welcome me with a smile and a hug and would serve me breakfast with cakes she made.
The rooms are spacious and welcoming. Everything was very clean and neat. It was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it strongly if you’re in Messina!
