Check-in took two minutes, the receptionist was very professional. We got the key and clear instructions to our room, and the wifi password. The room was functional, but good enough for the purposes. The bed was large enough and comfortable. The room's windows faced the water, and we enjoyed seeing the ferry from the balcony when we opened the window. The room also had a working desk which was good...

Very spacious room, huge bed and comfortable mattress. The air conditioning is controlled by the hotel management, it cannot be set up individually in each room. The shower was newly renovated and very comfortable and spacious. Location is great, just 7 minutes walk to main Piazza in Messina. Very close to the train station as well.

Rooms are outdated, hallways had old and dirty carpets but the people at the reception are friendly and even offered a free upgrade to one of the rooms. Location is really good in the center of the city. Bed linen and towels excellent quality.

We stayed here only one night. The location is strategic, close to the ferry harbour, at least one of them, to the train station and to one of the main squares. The hotel looks like an 80 vintage gem in need of a refreshing. But overall it's still in a nice condition.

Location is a little away from attractions, but still within 30 mins walking distance. There arent much good restaurants nearby the street

I was given a small single room which was different from what i booked. No staff except on WhatsApp (it was Sunday when I arrived)-. She was quick to respond. At first she said i made the mistake but when i showed the pictures of what i booked, i was given the right room. Good thing also the 1st room had no heating even though card was inserted into the control panel. Self check-in to new room and...

The accommodation is old and the bathroom is very old. The shower is very small and you can't move around properly. The internet is very bad, it's disconnected most of the time. The only thing that's worth it is the location. The staff are polite.

Convenient location. In the city center location. It is very convenient to go to supermarket coop, coffee shops and restaurants. The elevator is scary... Breakfast (single person recommended +) Couples can eat outside. It's just that the season is not very good. Rainy and cloudy days. And it seems that Sicilians are lazier. The New Year has passed and many stores will not be open. I’m convinced!

The room was spacious and comfortable. I had to check in late and check out early, but they were flexible and I was grateful.

The only problem we had was getting the concierge to tell us a restaurant choice that would not be a long walk. We are senior citizens and walked over a mile.

This boutique hotel is a must if you in Messina. Great concierge service and the rooms are comfortable!!! The breakfast at the rooftop terrace was relaxing and the coffee superb!!! Totally enjoyed ourselves.My wife and I needed reservations for dinner and we couldn't get one online, but the concierge a super fellow saved the day and came through with dinner for us!! Bravo!!

small room (double bed 147 euros per night) ... wifi 6 mb ... 21 inch tv (I didn't think they still existed) and no parking. being in the center a real problem ... I found 1 at 150 meters of course for a fee. I just give you the facts to you the rest

This was my second stay at this hotel. It is a nice place: large room, clean, large and updated bathroom, breakfast, 24-hour staff and very comfortable. I recommend and will repeat. It is a 10-minute walk to the train station. A bit pricier than other places but worth the exta money.

I stayed one night, I found it last minute because the B&B I had booked previously had to Cancel. The Hotel was nice and the staff were friendly, but in my opinion too expensive (1 Person 72€/night) Maybe I had too high expectations. Anyways, good sleep and quite good breakfast (included)

Nice hotel in a good position, although dated it worked well. Great breakfast and the owner offered us a granita with cream which was superb! The staff are excellent and friendly, I would recommend this place and you must visit the restaurant M’inchia nearby, it’s superb and very cheap!

Well worth staying I had 3 nights in Messina and couldn’t have picked a nicer place. Great communication over my arrival and how to get into the property. Liked the personal touch of messaging me to check I was ok and had everything I needed. Highly recommend.

This is a delightful hotel which has been carefully renovated to preserve its character. It has this intriguing mix of old and new - high decorated ceilings, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Marco was extremely kind and helpful. Showed us good places to eat and helped us with a taxi to station as we had a long train journey ahead of us.

The location is good both near to the centre and the station, where you can fine at good prices sicilian cafés and restaraunts. The service was good enough, but we did not demand much. The rooms were tidy and clean with very old furniture (from the '70s). Bathrooms had everything. Overall a fine experience for a relatively low budget.

Close to the Central Station, quite close to Messina University and Port, and Piazza del Duomo, but street trafic.

Beautifully decorated hotel with high ceilings, marble stairs and comfy beds. Only thing is there is no elevator and no one really speaks english, so if you are packing heavily or don't know a little basic italian, you're in for a small struggle lol. Otherwise, I felt very comfortable there.

We only stayed one night, but we truly wish we had booked another! This hotel was absolutely charming from the moment we arrived. Christian at the front desk was fantastic—he confirmed our arrival via WhatsApp and even helped us secure a dinner reservation, which made everything feel so easy and welcoming. This is a very different type of hotel, that's for sure. It occupies only one floor - actually only half of the second floor of a nondescript building. Not even a large sign in front to announce the hotel. Instead of the usual glitzy revolving door or large glass doors with a doorman, you're faced with a large wooden door, with the names of the various office occupants inside on the buzzer panel off...

My wife and I have been travelling for the past 6 months and this is hands down the best hotel we have stayed in,everything was perfect, great variety breakfast clean comfortable rooms. The location was great close to the train and bus station, with plenty of cafes and restaurants would definitely go back.

We stayed 2 nights with breakfast. Nice room, nice style interior, , clean, new, with airco and nice bathroom. We slept very well and the breakfast was good. Good restaurants around and nearby the city center. Allot of privacy is guaranteed.

I had a few misunderstandings and miscommunication with the hotel but we dealt with those. Possibly it will surprise Rosy to hear I would stay there again!! Very elegant rooms and very clean room. Very large breakfast if you consider that it is a B&B. The structure that houses the B&B is unfortunately a bit dilapidated especially in the upper part of the stairs of the building. All in all, the reception is all about the B&B is organized and structured with care and elegance. The location is also excellent, very close to services and clubs.

Staff and place overall are sweet and beautiful. Especially liked that staff are super kind and helpful with any questions. Adding to that, rooms are clean and pleases eyes.

I stayed at this hotel for a month. Staff were friendly and professional. I had a double room which was spacious although the shower room was small- however this is reflected in the price. The service is brilliant and the rooms are great value for money. I do believe the rooms are all different in layout even though they are double. Also a great location. This is a down at heel old unrenovated hotel with old fittings and no mod cons but it was very clean and quiet and the manager was a lovely man. Shower was superb but wifi dodgy in the room. Forget the breakfast as it’s just a few old packets and sme juice.

This B&B was quiet and classy. The amenities and beautiful decor were perfect and we enjoyed our stay. Parking was typical city parking, not the easiest but doable. Antonella made self check in easy, and Rosario was kind and left us a beautiful surprise for our Anniversary with towel swans on our bed. A hidden gen in a apartment block. You enter a dark foyer then as you enter the hotel it is filed with light and views over the port. Excellent value for money. Bright clean bedroom with little balcony. Good buffet breakfast.

I've been to this B & B for two nights in mid-January 2019. Large bedroom equipped with all comfort. The owner Francesco is very careful to put at ease guests and tries to satisfy all requests. Beautiful view from the breakfast room. Would improve breakfast, delicious cake "home made" but would replace the croissants / snacks packed with those delicious local and would add some "homemade" jam instead...

Very nice apartment a stone's throw from the tram that connects all of Messina. Clean and tidy, it immediately makes you feel at home. The owner is very helpful, he even managed to get us a lactose-free breakfast. Very positive experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this B&B just yesterday, in addition to being well located, the structure offers every sort of comfort and is extremely clean! The jewel in the crown are the owners, two very friendly people who made themselves available immediately. They offered us a wonderful breakfast... Definitely coming back!

Very welcoming hosts and helpful in every way. It was very neat and clean everywhere. Nice breakfast and good parking in a closed area. There are many cars everywhere in Messina and parking on the streets which resulted in narrow roads around the hotel. Located close to the water and we had a view over the strait to the mainland. The hotel is beautiful with a large room and good breakfast facilities, even though the breakfast itself was quite limited. We loved that it had its own parking and it made it easy to leave our car while we walked to different areas.

A better B&B experience. I chose to stay in the dock town on the day I transferred to the ferry. This family hotel has independent parking facilities, which is more convenient. Just need to use the key card. There are too many keys, which is a bit troublesome. Other aspects, including service, are very good.
