The host was so communicative and friendly, and she gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do in Messina. The room was spotless and exactly like the photos—cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed. The location is right in the center, which made it super easy to get around. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice room ,very clean.Check in was easy and we were facilitated with and earlier than expected check in.
Property on a quiet street but only 100 meters or so from the Cathedral. Lots of options for restaurants and thanks to recommendations we received from the owner we had a couple of nights in very traditional local restaurants

The room was really nice with comfortable bed and a good shower. The breakfast is just packaged goods and stale cereal but tea, coffee etc is good.
We stayed on a Friday night, arriving quite late. We were awoken many times throughout the night with cars racing up the street and often with music blaring. To our surprise in the morning, the street that we thought must have a main road, was just a small street. Anyway, this is not the fault of the property. They were very nice and helpful and let us leave our bags after check out.

Really beautiful place. It’s a historic building that has been lovingly restored by the owner. Great water pressure. The owner and his partner were very friendly and sent us recommendations even though we only stayed one night. Messina is gorgeous so we’ll go back. And hopefully we can stay at this property again

Pros:Antonella and Rosario, our hosts, were super friendly and helpful in settling us into our room, and giving us information about the area. Our room and facilities we could not fault. Location within walking distance to historical area and local restaurants. Parking was relatively easy.
Cons: We checked in on a Saturday and the street noise, that night, until 230am was quite distracting. Sunday night was far better. Left on Monday so cannot comment on weekdays.
Overall a very positive experience.

Excellent choice, location was perfect 2m walk to the Duomo, restaurants and transportation.
Rosario was exceptional, very helpful … emailed me all I needed to know as to what to see, where to eat and where to shop. Highly recommend this property.

The experience was terrible in every way. I slept there one night and developed a rash on my skin the next day. 😖

Nice options of things with in close proximity. Host was super helpful with recommendations and directions to places.

Apartment was located 100 meters from the Piazza Duomo, shopping and restaurants. Great spot for a day to explore Messina or take the ferry to mainland Italy. Breakfast was not included in the booking but the host provided it for free anyway. Highly recommend this B&B.
