My husband and I were on our way back to Pozzallo from Modica and stopped for lunch at the hotel's restaurant. Our server Rita was wonderful! The food was amazing! My husband and I are both Italian American and appreciate good Italian food. My ravioli with the pork sauce was out of this world! My husband is a chef and his pasta ragu was also amazing. Rita's selection of red wine was perfect! Will...
We spent a few days in this resort as a family. It was well situated, lovely gardens, very clean rooms. Food was decent but not stellar, as were some of the staff who were at times brusque and seemed annoyed at our requests. A/C was inconsistent— some rooms were frigid while in others you could barely feel it was on. The pool was by far the nicest feature. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned and mopped...
Hotel very quiet a ghost hotel staff could not do enough for you room was very roomy and spotless. Food was very good coffee excellent . Given plastic knives and forks in the breakfast buffet and coffee in paper cups !!!! This hotel is out in the sticks and we had to drive 1 and 1/2 hours in the dark to get here from the airport. Arrived at 10.30pm and asked could we have dinner the chef stayed...
Great place, big pool, nice furniture and big clean rooms. Breakfast could be improved.

A great hotel Our stay at Torre del Sud was exceptional...clean and spacious room, very good breakfast and private parking in front of the hotel. Will definitely return.
excellent breakfast staff was very responsive to our needs. we accepted the offer to upgrade for a fee, and found the amenities to be lovely and worth it.
Very nice stay in a new hotel not far from the center. Excellent room with a very good breakfast as well as with a very friendly and professional as well a service oriented team! Chocolate from Modica was excellent too. Would recommend a stay’
This was a great property with lovely rooms, nice staff, good restaurant. Location is ok if you have a car. Great parking with either outside or underground for a small fee. Not close to town so you need a car or transportation to get to town. Not really a walkable location to see anything. But overall a great place to stay while visiting this area.
Hotel with attention to detail, super room, varied and plentiful breakfast..welcoming and very polite staff. We will definitely return..we had a really good time...discreet location but still convenient for getting around
I tried the suite with hydromassage and sauna in the room, really fantastic! Friendly and helpful staff but above all the food at the restaurant was really good. There is also an outdoor area with synthetic grass where you can sunbathe and sip the champagne offered <3

Hotel position excellent on the main road of Modica, walking distance from city center. Amenities a bit old, specially shower very small and shower head a bit crazy. All in all anyway a good quality-price ratio.
We've stayed at this hotel for several years now when visiting our family in Modica. It's lovely, clean and the staff are very attentive and accommodating.
Just as it should be Reasonably modern hotel in the centre of Modica with easy pedestrian access to all the sights. Simple check, clean and comfortable room, on site (across the road) secure overnight parking, decent swimming pool, nice breakfast. Everything was just as it should be.
Words can't describe how much I enjoyed staying here! First the hotel's staff was really helpful and kind. I enjoyed talking with them, especially with the french lady who was working Saturday. Since I was the only guest there, she kept me company and we had a really nice conversation. About the rooms...mine was a one-bedroom room, relatively small but enough for one person. Restaurant was not open like it said it would
Very nice hotel outside the downtown area of Modica, nice pool and free parking. Our room was very large with a jacuzzi tub
Clean property. Nice staff, was disappointed with the location
Pros: cleanliness room, large parking lot, tasty food, efficient air conditioning, good location close to Modica Cons: broken refrigerator in the room, no iron, poor soundproofing - noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms can be heard. Mold around the bathtub - should be removed
Great hotel and staff with an ample parking. The only issue is that there is no restaurant/bar in the evening need to go out.
Great hotel, super clean & well maintained. Very pet friendly - room was clean & spacious, balcony slightly on small side and coffee machine would be a nice extra touch. Area is quiet, supermarket & some bars/pizzerias within walking distance but you need a car to visit Modica etc, super close to Scicli which is a beautiful town. Breakfast & pool were amazing and overall reasonable price!

The hotel was in a tranquil location and perfect for travelling with electric charging car since it has the possibility of charging electric vehicles onsite at a cost of 15e per charge. Rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast was of good quality. There is an outdoor pool for guest use. Staff are helpful.
Fantastic stay. Don't let the low rate fool you. This hotel could be 3X the price. The breakfast was top notch (there was an extra charge but worth it). The relaxation spa treatment was nice but the hot tub was just lukewarm. The rooms and entire resort feel super clean. We enjoyed playing padel (40 euros for 4 people including ball and racket rentals) at their well maintained courts. The restaurant...
I was impressed by the spotless white linen in the rooms and the cleeanliness of the whole place. Staff were friendly and competent. There are excellent parking facilities and a quiet environment in the countryside.
The whole environment of the hotel is exceptional. Rooms are spotlessly clean, staff extremely courteous and so polite. Great pool area and breakfast restaurant. Ample parking space. Nothing to complain about. Just a word of advise to check with hotel prior to booking if they will have a function during your stay since this could limit parking and some noise will be expected late evening. Otherwise...
Everything was great except for the restaurant manager, whose attitude was appalling. He seemed to go out of his way to ruin our evening - clearly more interested in asserting control over a group of women than providing good service. It felt like he was on a power trip, taking himself far too seriously. Really disappointing behaviour in an otherwise lovely place.
Very comfortable rooms in a well finished and smart hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. One major benefit of this location is the superb top class restaurant with the chef Claudio Ruta, who specialises in using local ingredients from the region. Well worth a visit.

We had a good overall experience at this B&B. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was great with a good variety, and parking was easy and convenient. Just a note—there’s no pool or tennis court on site. They do have a partnership with the local sports centre, but you’ll need to drive there as well as to most places in the area. Our room was clean...
It's surprisingly far from the city center and difficult to walk to, so please be careful. However, there is a small garden and a field, so you can relax. The breakfast is also very luxurious, with a variety of sweets, tarts, freshly squeezed fruit juice, and more. This is a great B&B to relax at.
Great value for the $$. Though it’s not in the heart of the city, the setting is private and serene. Really liked our very friendly hosts. They were very helpful and accommodating. Private parking was a must and it’s great. The breakfast is a little not like breakfast that we’re used to, but it was still nice if you want meat and cheese. Great for a night or two, but maybe not more than that.
Excellent structure, clean environment, friendly and helpful staff, with a relaxing garden full of fruit and plants with fragrant flowers, to be returned soon. Excellent location near the centre. Modica beautiful town to visit both high and low with beautiful churches
The small inn is a B&B surrounded by a beautiful garden. We had asked for a double room but there was availability of a triple room which was actually a bit small, in fact we had to ask the lady to take a chair away because we were afraid of tripping especially at night. However, both the room and the bathroom were spotless and furnished with excellent taste. The breakfast was varied and plentiful...

Strategically located for visiting the city, just a short walk from the center but thankfully away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was generous, varied, and of high quality. The real standout feature is undoubtedly the owner, who manages the property with incredible passion and love – and it absolutely shines through! Highly recommended
A delightful B&B close to Modica's historic center. Angelita's warm hospitality and helpfulness made us feel right at home. She gave us many tips on places to visit and restaurants. The generous and varied breakfast featured delicious homemade pastries prepared by the hostess.
We stayed at this property, which could truly be described as a meticulously maintained and beautifully furnished home. The host was incredibly accommodating, and the place itself was tastefully decorated, fully equipped with all amenities, and spotlessly clean. Our sincere appreciation for everything, and a heartfelt thank you!
For this year's Epiphany weekend, my friends and I stayed in Modica at the B&B Chicchi di Melograno. The property's cleanliness, its central location, the convenient parking, and the wonderful hospitality from Angelita, the incredibly kind and impeccable owner, made our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Stayed 1 night as part of cycling tour of Sicily. While this hotel appears to be a bit out of the way it's quite walkable into the centre of Modica. The room and breakfast were both excellent. Although it's next to the train station there was no noise from the trains.
The property is modern and quiet. I wouls return.
Great place - great welcoming atmosphere. Right by the railway station - short walk to town. Doubt there is a better hotel in Modica
What an absolutely marvellous hotel. Quirky quaint and thoroughly modern. Shame no trains were running when we visited, but when they are super handy for train station
It's one of the best 4☆ hotels in the area, big comfortable rooms and well managed, a bit hard to reach but that is due to the city planning. Private parking is also a big plus
Just outside of town, ie 10mins walk, but quiet so a good nights sleep. Rooms very clean, enough space, good shower, wifi, a relatively modern building. Breakfast average, too much pre-packed food, ie not enough fresh food / juice, coffee grim.

We had a room in the annex which was 30 second walk from the main hotel building but was very peaceful and a lovely room. Hotel staff were fabulous and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very relaxed and takes place in / outside the in-house cafe. Hotel offered reasonably priced valet parking which given the tight roads, tricky parking situation and confusing one way systems I would recommend!
A real family business where all welcomed us with charm and friendliness. Wonderfully equipped with lovely furniture and rugs - a place with history you feel that you can share and enjoy. For us it was enjoyable and very relaxing to spend a night here
Wonderful hotel that hails back to the golden age of travel. This family run hotel has impeccable staff who provide a marvellous experience in this unique historical area. Next door is an upmarket restaurant oozing in style and 10 metres away is a perfect little bistro with a fantastic selection of wines and a few snacks.
Excellent hotel the rooms and facilities are extraordinary beautiful, you feel steeped in history. The host is very very friendly and welcoming. Although there is a school next door we were not disturbed by noise at all. It’s about a 20 minute walk to down town which is challenging on the way back as it is up hill. We loved it ..
From the moment of our arrival, the staff were incredibly friendly and could not do enough to help. We were offered a coffee while we checked in. The secure car park, just a minute down the road, was excellent and definitely worth the small extra cost. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and had lots of character. The air conditioning was effective, and while the bathroom felt a little dated...
This is obviously an old Palazzo turned into a hotel and not a purpose built new hotel. It has charm and history and old-fashioned service. There is a nice little cafe serving traditional breakfast. If you are after a Hilton type hotel it's not for you. But if you are curious to learn about the city, it's history and the family Palazzo history then it's excellent.

Good hotel, great location, very polite staff specially Lorenzo, Thanks Lorenzo, we had a perfect stay.
The location is great and the welcome we received was great ( it feels a bit mean to criticise but need to). This is an olde building next to the cathedral in Modica alta. Classic Italian hotel with beautiful rooms! Antonio, the owner, could not have been more pleasant- and these were easily the nicest rooms we’ve had on the trip - big windows that open onto a balcony with a lovely view.
