Touring in Livorno

Poor service: elevator is thin and old-fashioned, tap and shower hot water has not been available for a good while in the evening and in the morning, breakfast is ridiculous and milk, for example, has got a strange smell, staff at the reception and at the breakfast is deficing and irritable. Totally overpriced compared to the service offered.

Before you book this hotel as a family, please read the former negative reviews and trust them. The only reason I booked this hotel was because of the 24h-reception. Our ferry was planned to arrive at 8pm, but arrived at 9:15pm. That’s why I gave this hotel a chance. I booked the room for three adults and my four year old daughter, who still just sleeps with us. She would never sleep with just one of us. The receptionist was very rude immediately and told me, we booked a room for three people. He could not let us check-in for security reasons. I wanted to show him my booking confirmation and he said word by word: „It doesn’t matter what you read in your papers, it matters what is in my reservation. I can’t give you a room for three.“ He didn’t let me finish any sentence either… Imagine there is a technical problem: You‘ll be stuck overnight in a foreign country with a four year old child, even though you booked a room for 170€! :( I thought Italy is a kids friendly country…well unfortunately not anymore! After I complained and wanted to talk to his boss, he told me that we could have the room for 20€ more. I would have paid for it, but for being so respectless and rude I didn’t want to. I strongly recommend to book another hotel in Livorno if you want to be treated like an important and paying customer!

Worst Hotel I have ever expirienced! Stay away if you are a family. Receptionist is seperating the family and is absolutelety not willing to understand and at least trying to have a flexible thought. I have been to many hotels around the world and this is by far the worst I have ever been to. Stay away and pay the extra Euro….this here is not worth a cent. Manager is also not willing to talk to Customer…….horrible service!!!!!!

Required card details by e-mail (which is not right at all). When the transaction failed (after 2 months or so) they've cancelled our reservation and only let us know by email hour before arrival. At night, with kids. This is just not acceptable.

The Rudest Owner in Italy.
We had a group of 10 people, the owner could not have Been Ruder if he tried.
We felt bad for his employees...
Hell of Livorno.
