The property was well kept by staff. It was clean and the breakfast every morning was fantastic

Very quiet and very suitable for a release travel, and enjoy the free moment.

This I used for work. My room had a shower that was a bit cramped, the hotel could do with a refurb. Breakfast is itian continental.

The hotel is a bit ways from the city of Florence, 20+ miles but close to the highway. Relatives to the hotel prices in Florence this was much less expensive since we had a rental car. Very clean place, nice size rooms and pretty good choices for breakfast included. The staff was very cordial and helpful and they do speak English good enough to convey the message.

All ok. Good spot for the travellers to south of Italy.

As this was the 2nd time staying at this hotel we knew what the standard was, I would recement the Hotel Michelangelo for a stopover as it is well sited to the motorway going North or South with friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is very clean and the staff members are very professional. Bit disappointed by the breakfast, but I hope it's just because of the virus

We were driving from Venice to Rome and it was around Midnight so we decided to get a room. This was right off the highway so we booked it. The young man working at the desk was very kind and friendly and spoke English. He made sure we parked the car in a good location. The room was nice and clean.

The room was nice but small, but then again, most places in Italy are. The front desk was helpful. The room was clean and we had no problems. Breakfast was good and had choices like eggs, yogurt, juice, cereal and meat and cheese.

The staff were very friendly & helpful despite us both not speaking Italian! The apartment we had was spacious & very clean. Location great for driving to Chianti & train to Arezzo and Florence. Montevarchi itself had some great places to eat & nice friendly bars too, without being a busy tourist centre.

Enjoyed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel which achieves a perfect mix of historic charm and boutique, contemporary style. Elegant furnishings and refined vibe. Our Junior Suite was stunning - lovely views and gorgeous decor. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Attentive to my often difficult diet, which was appreciated. Only two negatives - mineral water...

An absolute hidden gem!! For those seeking charm, luxury, peacefulness and wonderful service - as well as amazing food and wine- this is your place. Away from crowds and tourists and truly a beautiful property. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at a number of agriturismo or tiny hotels built in historic buildings. Among the Villa Sassolini is excellent. Stylish interior, cosy rooms, owners always present as active members of the staff. Excellent service although not too posh.

Loved the place, Location and the friendly staff!!! Room was very comfortable with all the amenities I needed! Will go back :)

The Villa Sassolini is an country house, steeped in history, renovated and decorated with exquisite taste by the owner, M. Tani. The house is located in a tiny village in the Tuscan hills, far from the crowds or either Florence or Siena, yet within comfortable distance for visits. The bedroom in which we stayed was fabulous, the gardens are lovely and both breakfast and fantastic dinner are served...

The suite, rooms, and views were incredible, but the most memorable part of our stay was the impeccable service from Gian Marco and his team. I highly recommend a visit to the sauna and pool, and spending time enjoying the views from the terrace. 11/10
