Enjoyed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel which achieves a perfect mix of historic charm and boutique, contemporary style. Elegant furnishings and refined vibe. Our Junior Suite was stunning - lovely views and gorgeous decor. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Attentive to my often difficult diet, which was appreciated. Only two negatives - mineral water at €8 was the most expensive we had on our 2 week Tuscany trip and having to pay for a hot breakfast was disappointing given we paid €1,200 for 3 nights. Overall, however, a lovely relaxing stay.

An absolute hidden gem!! For those seeking charm, luxury, peacefulness and wonderful service - as well as amazing food and wine- this is your place. Away from crowds and tourists and truly a beautiful property. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at a number of agriturismo or tiny hotels built in historic buildings. Among the Villa Sassolini is excellent. Stylish interior, cosy rooms, owners always present as active members of the staff. Excellent service although not too posh.

The Villa Sassolini is an country house, steeped in history, renovated and decorated with exquisite taste by the owner, M. Tani. The house is located in a tiny village in the Tuscan hills, far from the crowds or either Florence or Siena, yet within comfortable distance for visits. The bedroom in which we stayed was fabulous, the gardens are lovely and both breakfast and fantastic dinner are served by the swimming pool. The staff are not only professional, but kind and welcoming.

The suite, rooms, and views were incredible, but the most memorable part of our stay was the impeccable service from Gian Marco and his team. I highly recommend a visit to the sauna and pool, and spending time enjoying the views from the terrace. 11/10

This is a beautiful place peaceful and calm but not for families my husband and I loved it but my son didn’t, it’s very small and quite perfect for couples. We ate in the restaurant and it was lovely but took 3 hrs. The wine was great and it was magical at night. Ok so the spa.. not good gym really small not really any equipment didn’t use the sauna but the pool is really tiny more of a hot tub. Th outdoor pool is freezing hardly anyone used it in fact I spoke to other guests who agreed also it’s bang in the middle of the restaurant so without intruding you couldn’t use it even if it was warm. The garden is delightful and great for a morning yoga session. The breakfast is ok good food but not much choice and they charge extra for eggs. Andrea is a delight helpful, kind and lovely. Laura was lovely too. No one else spoke to us probably because we don’t speak Italian. Room was lovely nice size and good aircon Overall it was a good experience

Villa Sassolini is beautiful. It is in a beautiful location, in a small village with beautiful views over the hills. There is a cafe/bar in the village which is very nice for an aperitif . The hotel itself is stunning and the rooms very comfortable indeed. The swimming pool and gardens are all lovely with amazing views. The breakfast is lovely. Above all, the staff are all so welcoming and helpful and couldn’t make you feel more comfortable. We had a really lovely time.
