Hotel Colombo in Lido di Jesolo

Clean room, great staff. We loved this place!

The room, never had any plugs in next yo the bed while the nearest plug was the toilet. The breakfast variety was very small but good. In terms of the hotel within itself I would like to rate it a five star but its unfortunate that the pool was closed while it being December, this should not be an excuse for it being closed while the pool should be getting heated up more during the winter much like the outdoor pools in Iceland while it is freezing the pool is hot. I wojld have realy liked for the pool to be open as its all included as part of the cost.

Excellent Hotel, where people make the difference :-) Impressed by the high quality and delicious food. Roof top bar has been recently renovated. A nice bar and pools are inviting to relax. Rooms are very clean but relatively small. If you consider to book this hotel, here is my clear recommendation, but advice to book one higher categorised room.

We are currently staying at the hotel Colombo.It is our choice for several years now and we had never been disapointed.Kind staff,clean hotel rooms and now they added a food and drink corner on the roof where the pool is.Great.The hotel is at the one of the main squares in Jesolo and there is always something going on.
In front of the hotel there is a kids play park so there is something for everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, walkable to everything. Was so nice that it included beach chairs. Breakfast buffet had lots of options and was delicious. Room was spacious and loved the rainfall shower head. All the front desk staff were friendly and helpful especially Elena.

We had two rooms half board basis . The rooms were as requested on high level . Both had lovely balcony with chairs. The hotel staff very happy and friendly always smiling, had a little difficulty with language barrier and didn't always get what we had asked for but it didn't really matter. It looks like the hotel is undergoing a revamp we notice some of the rooms were really modern . Our rooms were very 80s styling although it was all clean and tidy nothing broken all still in good condition. Air-conditioning work well in the rooms. the bathrooms were modern and had shower gel shampoo etc. Towels changed everyday I think . The main areas of the hotel are very high spec modern really nice . There is a carpark if you needed it. The pool bar area is lovely and worth the 5euro for a bed for the day you also get a towel with that. Drinks are good an not over priced. Views are lovely from the roof top. Littlerly a 5 min walk and your on the beach where the hotel provides free beds for all guests. Lots of high quality shops bars and restaurants 2 min walk away. Bus stop is a 2 min walk away and takes you to punta sabbioni takes about 40 mins you can buy tickets at the tourist information office again just 5 min walk I think it was 6.50 euro each way. you can get the boat to Venice and other islands. The food at the hotel wasn't really my thing . They did have lots of buffet food though and its all great quality food. Drinks at the hotel similar to uk prices . Cocktails about 10 euro. The beach is lovely and clean lots of toilets , changing cubicals and showers . Beach bars and restaurants. Had a fab time here and would definitely stay here again if we were to return .
