Good hotel for conferences but away from the town centre and cabs don’t like going there and so price there fares accordingly!! Reception staff very helpful and friendly and we also took the breakfast there which was good value at 15 euro per head. Sleep was not good as mattress had seen better days and had sunken !

The rooms are lovely, the bathroom spacious. However, the showers are open on one end so the water goes all over the counter and mirror. That's inconvenient but liveable. However, in mid-October, there was no AC and the rooms were exceeding hot! It made it hard to sleep and getting ready in the morning was a sweaty mess.

The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, about a 20-minute walk from the train station. It's on the edge of the old town, near the University of Padua and the exhibition center. There was something seriously wrong with the computer at the reception. I was in my room when another guest came in with a key the reception gave him. When we went down to ask what is that, they said the computer made a mistake. Then I made an online booking for one more night and they could not find it in the computer for several hours, again it was the computer’s blame. Ok.

What a wonderful hotel! Paolo was so friendly and helpful, showing where to park and helping with service at the parking garage. The junior suite is a great size and it’s very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a central location to the city center, making it easy to shop or eat.

HOtel Donatello is centrally located in the old town, within easy walking distance of trams, tourist sights, shops and restaurants. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The price for a quadruple room with breakfast in Europe is really amazing, and the breakfast is also very rich. If you are driving to Venice, it is highly recommended. There are also very large supermarkets nearby where you can buy all kinds of food and daily necessities as souvenirs to bring back home for friends. Our room is LOVELY and gigantic. Try to get room 212 if you're ever staying here! Big king bed, with a large clean bathroom. It appears to be a newly renovated Marriott Express hotel; it's quite clean and hygienic. Free parking is available, and the parking lot in front is quite large. It's not far from Venice, about 40 kilometers away, so you can stay here if you're driving to Venice.

The house price is too cheap compared to Venice. Parking is free and there are plenty of parking spaces. You can get on the highway just outside the hotel. It takes 25 minutes to drive to Venice, which is very convenient.

It's a really nice hotel with a spacious room andvery clean bathroom. The staff was nice and helpful.Compared to hotels at the city centre, prices were much more affordable, so, if you have a car, I would strongly recommend staying here. The only negative thing I can say is that it is a bit far from the city centre and takes at least 15 minutes to get to the old town of Padua even by car.

Checks the boxes. This is a basic hotel that is clean, newly renovated (at least the room I was in) and the staff are friendly enough. It is walkable distance to centro (ca. 15 minutes) if you're capable. Otherwise it is a five minute taxi ride. This will be my go to hotel when I am visiting Padua.

I walked past this hotel daily as I was staying with a friend in Padova. This hotel always had the nicest staff and the patrons always dressed very well. The location is great for walking around near restaurants and they will hail a taxi when you want go further. They even went out of their way to hold a lost item of mine at the desk so I could retrieve it. I know when I return, I will stay here

Our room was incomplete. There was no electricity in the sockets except in the bathroom. We had a 2-bed room, only one of which had an socket. The servers at breakfast were rude. I drank my coffee and they took my cup because the table had to be re-set. I had breakfast for 15 minutes, all at 8:30.

Hotel was nice but provided rooms three floors apart for our family of four which seemed odd. When we asked about rooms close to each other, the receptionist treated this as a very strange request. Always a pleasant stay whenever I come to Padua. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are consistently welcoming. A big plus for the convenient laundry service — it makes longer stays much easier. It is great that there is a 24 hour bar but it was sometimes difficult to get service as they had to check people in at the same time. And it could do with a makeover.
