✨ Simple, clean, and super convenient ✨ Staying at Toyoko Inn Sasebo Eki Mae 🏨 Just few steps from Sasebo Station Perfect for short stays, business trips, and travel in Nagasaki 🇯🇵💼 This hotel is a must-stay!
Excellent location in front of the train and bus station. Great customer service. Enjoyed the Japanese breakfast every morning.
Location very good, basically contains every basic need
good experience. i forgot my receipt inside of the hotel room. i called and the female staff was helping me wholeheartedly! very grateful
The lobby get quite crowded during breakfast and checkout hour, expect lead time to wait for lift. Staff is helpful and can speak English quite well
Excellent location and most important - cleanliness.

Good hotel for business and family
Great service, self check- in & out, clean bathroom satisfied amenities
I love this place. Been a frequent since July of last year. I use this place as a getaway and recharge. I love how it’s near a lot of great places like food, the train station, the mall, church, the barber shop and all other great places to sight see. Customer service is great. Always accommodating all needs and they are quick to get things done.
I absolutely love to hear it was beautiful and very fancy. I felt safe as a black woman. People did speak English and they were very willing to help me out with anything I needed whether that be directions room details anything
Great location. easily accessible within walking distance.
The staff is accomodating. But the aircon is not cold😅

The location is fantastic, right in front of the Sasebo Arcade Street and just a 7-minute walk from Sasebo Station. The room was also surprisingly spacious and nice for the price. However, the cleanliness of the ceiling, walls, and floor was below average. If you can overlook that, you'll have a comfortable stay.
I walked from Sasebo Station, and the hotel's large sign made it easy to find. Check-in was smooth, and the shuttle bus to Huis Ten Bosch was really helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options, just as the reviews said.
I use this place when I have class reunions in Sasebo. It's convenient and there's a parking lot.
Had a good stay here! Single room for business but everything was abouve average! Thank you very much!
When I entered the room, it was spotlessly clean. It's undeniably old, so that's OK, but when I was getting ready in the morning, I noticed a few small insects. It was disgusting to think that I had been sleeping in the middle of the night without realizing it. I quickly got ready and left.
The free shuttle to Huis Ten Bosch and the breakfast buffet were fantastic.

Overall great quality and such friendly people.
The location is of the hotel is great. Rooms are clean
Though the design & deco are not the same as those newly built or opened, it's considered as classic since all hardware has been well maintained with no signs of running down. The restaurant provides good food and good value too. Room is clean & tidy. Staff very professional & helpful too. It suits guests who want the feeling of staying in a hotel when they were young.
Superb experience my first time stay and everything was great I loved it
I love this room bc of have a big bed and have a good view too
Average breakfast, the hotel itself is a bit tired, quite a noisy area, but for 1 night it's ok

The staff were nice, professional, and quick. Food was delicious, with many options to choose from for breakfast. Rooms were as expected, and i was perfectly comfy for my overnight stay. I’d go again.
The location is so ideal! It's close to the Sasebo train station. The free UCC coffee the hotel offers tastes great! And the amenities like body cream are great too! It's value for money!
very aged establishment…if close proximity to train is not a concern, consider a newer hotel is recommended..
Friendly and helpful service staff. Excellent location near JR Station.
The hotel was clean and reasonably spacious. There is a bathtub in the room and good for use aftr long tired walk. multi storey Car park was just beside the hotel and convenient walkway link to hotel. Convenient store just outside the hotel. Only con is need to open window as the blower blow out hot air when U turn on the Aircon button. Probably bcos is winter time. Power adapter is needed for charging...
The service was excellent, and the room was clean and tidy. The price was reasonable, and they even offered free udon noodles in the evening. The location is superb! I love Sasebo; it's a quiet little city with delicious hamburgers and BBQ.

Very nice stay. The room was small but very comfortable and clean ! I recommend.
The hotel is quite far from Sasebo Station. The staff service is good, the cleanliness is good, the bed size is appropriate for the room size.
Affordable in a good location. Self service laundry is cheap but the dryer doesn’t work well.
This is a very comfortable and clean hotel with an excellent location. It takes only 3 to 4 minutes on foot to reach the shopping district. Nearby, you can find cafés, restaurants, ramen shops, convenience stores, fruit shops, and even a 100-yen store, making it extremely convenient. In addition, just a 5-minute walk will take you to the nearest bus stop, where you can catch a bus to the 99 Islands...
The place is fine, the staff always provide new towels. My room has a leftover sock under my bed, but my stay is comfortable. Recommended for solo travelers

Even though it was a smoking-friendly room, a staff member suddenly came over and told me that the smoke was dangerous, so I don't understand why.

I booked a non-smoking room, but the constant smell of cigarettes was awful. It seemed to permeate the room. The room has been renovated and looks nice, but when I dropped something on the floor, it got covered in dust, which was a real turn-off. I have allergies, so I chose a renovated hotel, but I was constantly sneezing and my nose was running, which was awful. The price was cheap and the location...
Even though I arrived in the middle of the night, the person at the front desk was very friendly. The building itself is old and has a Showa-era feel to it, but the room was well-cleaned. It was difficult to adjust the temperature of the shower.
Although it is a little old, the location was convenient and close to the downtown area. I would like to use it again when I go to Sasebo.
Basic room with basic amenities. There was two WiFi hotspots on the entire floor. If all they have are smoking rooms, look elsewhere. One thing that I like about hotels in the USA is that they don’t allow smoking in the hotel. Some cheap hotels or motels in the US do allow it but, likewise, if you stay at those you are asking for it as well.
First off there was a problem with my booking but even with the English japanese language barrier the front desk staff went above and beyond to help me get the issue resolved. With that you will be hard up to find a single employee who isn't extremely friendly or helpful. The rooms albeit small to an American like myself are very cleanly kept and room service does an outstanding job making daily rounds...
This hotel has been in Sasebo for a long time. It's very typical of a hotel built in the late 1970's and 80's. It's still very enjoyable. I had a very nice stay there and it's close to everything. The train station and downtown areas. Venture under the back of the hotel and see the fresh fish for the sushi restaurant.

A nice hotel in central Sasebo. The staff was especially well in solution-finding when a problem occured
The room is very narrow. For 2 people, it is already narrow enough, but when booking for 3 people, they still have to stuff another bed in. There is no place to put luggage. The plug for the hot water is also inconvenient. It is quite dangerous to carry it downstairs. The bathroom is even narrower. If you have very large items weighing more than 100 kilograms, it may be uncomfortable.
I was happy that the soaps were very stylish. The Japanese-style room was spacious, clean, and well-ventilated, which was nice.
The washroom is not good enough
The space in the room is large, but the bathroom space is a bit cramped. The room heater cannot adjust the temperature, only strong or weak, making the room a bit stuffy and dry. There are English-speaking staff at the front desk for better communication.
The room was kinda small for three people , and the pillows weren't very comfortable. However, the front desk staff were friendly, and its proximity to the bus station was convenient.

This is a gem of high end stays in the Sasebo area. 5 star dining and accomodations. I've visited multiple times over the years including getting married on premises 16 years ago. Really is a nice hotel.
Paid 9,900 yen per head for a superior twin room with breakfast. The room we stayed was a bit aged, mattress was on the hard side and the fridge was a bit noisy. For the breakfast, bread was delicious, the rest were ok-ish. Very large carpark and convenient parking.

It's a bit far from JR Ureshino Onsen Station, so I'd recommend taking the bus. You can choose your own yukata on the first floor, and the hotel's public bath is on the 10th floor, which was pretty good. Overall, the value for money is decent. Ureshino Onsen's specialty is tofu, and it's quite delicious.
It is a nice place to stay to relax
Received a warm welcoming upon arrival at the hotel. The breakfast was however a bit disappointing, as the selection was limited.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It is a large hotel and the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay. The highlight for me was the cleanliness. The hotel also boasts a fantastic amenity: a rooftop onsen (hot spring). It was incredibly relaxing and offered a great way to unwind after a long day of travel. The main downside, however, was the dining options. While convenient...
While I loved the clean facility, breakfast was sadly not worth adding to the room only price unless you think it’s worth paying for the convenience.

We were given tea 🍵 as a welcome drink. It was out of the ordinary and delicious ♪ I was also happy that the tea teacher recommended many nearby shops. The hotel was clean and had all the amenities you need. It even had a ReFa shower and they even lent us a ReFa hairdryer, which I was very happy with. The best hotel during my trip to Japan, the hotel is new , the room is very clean , the restaurant is also the best during my trip, will come back is possible
The location is amazing, there is also an onsen nearby. The restaurant’s food is delicious
The hotel will distribute tickets to three nearby hot springs. The hot springs are of good quality. But you should be gentle when walking in the hotel, otherwise you will disturb others
The hotel itself does not have a hot spring, but will provide each person with two admission tickets to a nearby hot spring hotel. The hot springs ♨️ are dominated by nearby residents, and there are also restaurants nearby. Some restaurants are not open every day and close very early. The hotel is very tired and run down. However, the room was clean and had a brilliant ocean view and the evening meal was delicious. Also, the staff are very hospitable. The rotemburo was clean with a nice view but the facilities have not been maintained, which made it a less enjoyable experience.
You can see the sunrise from your room. Open the curtains and you can see the ocean. There is also a hot spring and a private open-air bath.
The tiles in the large communal bath were peeling off and there were dangerous places. It didn't look good either. The views from the rooms and the open-air bath were amazing, but the rooms and hallways were aging everywhere and it was hard to avoid looking. I stayed there because of my destination, but if it stays like that I won't go there again. I can't recommend it to my friends either.

A nice hotel with onsen, the hygiene is above average but not the best. Quite cheap, worth it. The hotel restaurant is not good.

The bed and blanket were super itchy, and even after staff had me get another blanket from another room, it didn’t help at all. I kept feeling things crawling and bumping around my feet and body the whole night, and I cant get sleep. The wall that near the bed has a white board covering, seems like they were trying to do some maintenance. Bad bad experience! Not recommend!
I had a very good time and I love the private bath whatever it was only a downside was that no one spoke English but I’m in Japan so what can I say?
It was spacious, simple, and the tatami room was nice. I will visit again when I go to Sasebo later.

I have been here several times. It is one of my favorite get away spots. They have hot springs, a great international buffet, lovely rooms with great views. It is very modern and spacious. I also think the staff are fantastic and kind.
Recently renovated throughout. Great views of the Saikaibashi bridge, and the whirlpools below. Good breakfast and dinner. Walk the rose garden and continue with a stroll through the nearby fishing harbor to appreciate the spectacular natural surroundings. I would stay here rather than at the Huis Ten Bosch and take advAntage of their free shuttle.
Highly recommended. It offers good rooms and beds. Shower is nice. Plus they offer a hot spring. The lobby has free beer and other drinks and snacks. I will ho back many times.
Great hotel for families. It has everything you need (small pool, kids corner, buffet, spacious rooms, garden...) I highly recommend it.
Not a hotel, a resort! Absolutely perfect vacation stop. Entertainment in the evenings, amazing chefs and food prepared, and couldn't ask for a better atmosphere and lodging. Not to mention the staff that is always looking out for you. I'll be back many times! Thank you for the perfect stay!

Nice staff, great location, clean rooms
Generally good to live, one demerit is the bed is too soft
The advantages are that it's very close to Sasebo Train Station, about 300 meters away, and 200 meters from the bus terminal and bus hub. There's also a laundry room, surprisingly on the rooftop. It's also convenient for dining and shopping near the port. The disadvantages are that the room was incredibly small and had a musty smell. The air conditioning at the front desk was turned up high, but not...
I should have eaten breakfast elsewhere. I asked for a raw egg to be fired for a child, but I was refused because I wasn't in charge of making it. A microwave oven can be used at least freely. There is a pay parking lot, but there are few cars, the hotel staff parks in front of the hotel and moves. You can dine at the restaurant on the 2nd floor, and COSPA is normal. Free breakfast is bread and coffee is self. Others will be offered at the Imperial Palace.

This small ryokan with only about eight rooms was a nice quiet stay. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying in terms of variety, quantity, and taste. All the staff, except for the owner and one woman, were foreigners and very friendly. However, the shower is located next to the semi-open bathtub, so the outside air blows directly into it. It's quite cold, so it might be a bit uncomfortable...
This is a very traditional Japanese boutique hotel with a total of only 8 guest rooms. On the ground floor, there are four rooms equipped with private onsen baths, alongside two public hot spring baths. Dinner was an outstanding 10-course Kaiseki meal, which notably included both grilled and steamed Saga Wagyu. The culinary experience here truly outshines even establishments like Taishoya and Charakuen...
The location is quite secluded, which is great if you're looking for peace and quiet. There are no shops or attractions in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel facilities are pretty standard, and the food was nothing special. A significant drawback was the outdoor shower in the room, which was far too cold to use during winter.
Each room has a private bath, very nice! One night, two meals, super rich and delicious!
Each room boasts a private hot spring, and the rooms themselves are spacious and beautifully decorated. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite and proactive in assisting foreign guests. The food quality for the half-board (dinner and breakfast) package was excellent. I would definitely stay here again! 👍🏼
Delightful and unique! Easy to find, with a warm welcome and a lovely, nostalgic vibe. The private onsen with wonderful water was a highlight.
