Sasebo, 6 Huis Ten Bosch 🧭 Map
It's a classic, grand hotel, equipped with high-end toiletries. The room was very clean and tidy.
The hotel is a little dated, but service is good. There is a public bath, but no gym. The hotel is very close to Huis Ten Bosch and has a private gate going to HTB once you have already purchase a ticket. You can request for extra pillows to use for free and you can choose pillow type (soft, medium, hard)
The hotel is decent for a one night stay. Though I would describe the interiors of the room as pretty retro and dated in the 90s. The hotel staff are very warm and friendly, and the room is clean. It’s acceptable for a short stay. The hotel is only a stone throw away from Huis Ten Bosch’s entrance where you need to get your tickets. And you can return to the hotel via the back gate. There’s a Lawson...
Would recommend to all my friends if they visit this place
Not sure about the Japanese culture. We tried to check in at morning time, but we got the only response that the check-in starts at 3:00PM. No extra information about how to enter the Park, or anything. We need to figure out that ourselves. We walked to the main entrance, and back there. We found out later that we could save our walk if we enter the hotel on another entrance. It will be wonderful if...

Beautiful hotel, will definitely visit again!! So convenient to visit the theme park and also to travel back to Fukuoka
Room was big and can fitted with our big luggages but it was not renovated in to the modern style yet, and onsen was very crowded and not privacy after 9-10 pm.
a nice traditional style hotel with beautiful design
Our trip to Huis Ten Bosch was compounded a hundred fold by staying at Hotel Okura Jr. The place is awesome and has a boat ride exclusive for hotel guests. The room is spacious and the breakfast is amazing! Would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Huis Ten Bosch Nagasaki!
Room was excellent. Has whole range of toiletries from cleansing oil, cleanser, toner and moisturizer
Robes provided for hot springs
Bed and pillows were firm
hotel is really huge and very nice, room is big and lots space for luggage and iranreally clean. the service from the staff is top notch as they even anticipated the service i require during the check in and key pick up. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Staying at Toyoko Inn Sasebo Eki Mae 🏨 Just few steps from Sasebo Station
Perfect for short stays, business trips, and travel in Nagasaki 🇯🇵💼 This hotel is a must-stay!
Excellent location in front of the train and bus station. Great customer service. Enjoyed the Japanese breakfast every morning.
Location very good, basically contains every basic need
good experience. i forgot my receipt inside of the hotel room. i called and the female staff was helping me wholeheartedly! very grateful
The lobby get quite crowded during breakfast and checkout hour, expect lead time to wait for lift.
Staff is helpful and can speak English quite well
Excellent location and most important - cleanliness.

Needed to take a 5mins shuttle bus to hotel carpark. Walk would require 18mins.
Hotel near huis ten bosch, quite old fashioned but have a lot amenities.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with complete amenities provided. The location is excellent within the Huis Ten Bosch area, which made it very convenient for sightseeing. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay.
Nice and clean hotel with the strong European vibe. We stayed there for two nights in December and the hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas
Very old hotel not only style but maintenance and cleanliness. Carpet smell not good at the elevator‘s interior, corridor and in hotel room. The room is very old too and not clean enough, dusty, no drinking water. I think it‘s not worth the price at all. No more to stay again :(

Great space for family of 4. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Has separate toilet room and bath tub room and dresser room. You get what you pay for. Serves nice amenities. Branded Tea and Coffee and Toiletries. Perfect for enjoying Huis Ten Bosch as it has great location. Offered us free next day pass. Amazing! Enjoyed our stay.
The location is fantastic, and the room is spacious – absolutely no complaints! If I ever visit Huis Ten Bosch again, I'd love to stay here.
Nice theme park! Lots of fun for the children!
The only hotel inside the theme park with direct access to the. Concierge Mr Shuu is an absolute delight. He went out of his way to assist us in all our inquiries and worries in terms of transport. Highly highly recommended.
Fantastic place. Hotel Located in the theme park. Kids enjoyed the most in Jurassic Island and miffy land.
My 2-day trip (November 10-12) was to this historic, classic hotel with a magnificent and elegant lobby.
The exit is right next to the Christmas market, and Miffy Square is just a minute's walk away.
However, it's quite a distance from the JR station exit.
I recommend buying some food and drinks at the convenience store beforehand (otherwise, it'll be at least a 10-minute walk out).
I suggest finding...

Good hotel for business and family
Great service, self check- in & out, clean bathroom
satisfied amenities
I love this place. Been a frequent since July of last year. I use this place as a getaway and recharge. I love how it’s near a lot of great places like food, the train station, the mall, church, the barber shop and all other great places to sight see. Customer service is great. Always accommodating all needs and they are quick to get things done.
I absolutely love to hear it was beautiful and very fancy. I felt safe as a black woman. People did speak English and they were very willing to help me out with anything I needed whether that be directions room details anything
Great location. easily accessible within walking distance.
The staff is accomodating. But the aircon is not cold😅

The location is fantastic, right in front of the Sasebo Arcade Street and just a 7-minute walk from Sasebo Station. The room was also surprisingly spacious and nice for the price. However, the cleanliness of the ceiling, walls, and floor was below average. If you can overlook that, you'll have a comfortable stay.
I walked from Sasebo Station, and the hotel's large sign made it easy to find. Check-in was smooth, and the shuttle bus to Huis Ten Bosch was really helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options, just as the reviews said.
I use this place when I have class reunions in Sasebo. It's convenient and there's a parking lot.
Had a good stay here! Single room for business but everything was abouve average! Thank you very much!
When I entered the room, it was spotlessly clean. It's undeniably old, so that's OK, but when I was getting ready in the morning, I noticed a few small insects. It was disgusting to think that I had been sleeping in the middle of the night without realizing it. I quickly got ready and left.
The free shuttle to Huis Ten Bosch and the breakfast buffet were fantastic.

Overall great quality and such friendly people.
The location is of the hotel is great. Rooms are clean
Though the design & deco are not the same as those newly built or opened, it's considered as classic since all hardware has been well maintained with no signs of running down. The restaurant provides good food and good value too. Room is clean & tidy. Staff very professional & helpful too. It suits guests who want the feeling of staying in a hotel when they were young.
Superb experience my first time stay and everything was great I loved it
I love this room bc of have a big bed and have a good view too

The staff were nice, professional, and quick. Food was delicious, with many options to choose from for breakfast. Rooms were as expected, and i was perfectly comfy for my overnight stay. I’d go again.
The location is so ideal! It's close to the Sasebo train station. The free UCC coffee the hotel offers tastes great! And the amenities like body cream are great too! It's value for money!
very aged establishment…if close proximity to train is not a concern, consider a newer hotel is recommended..
Friendly and helpful service staff. Excellent location near JR Station.
The hotel was clean and reasonably spacious.
There is a bathtub in the room and good for use aftr long tired walk. multi storey Car park was just beside the hotel and convenient walkway link to hotel.
Convenient store just outside the hotel.
Only con is need to open window as the blower blow out hot air when U turn on the Aircon button.
Probably bcos is winter time.
Power adapter is needed for charging...
The service was excellent, and the room was clean and tidy. The price was reasonable, and they even offered free udon noodles in the evening. The location is superb! I love Sasebo; it's a quiet little city with delicious hamburgers and BBQ.

Sasebo, 857-0069 Nagasaki, Udogoe-cho 510, Japan 🧭 Map
A pretty good hotel overall, but the hot spring management was a bit chaotic. There were a few ********* kids splashing around in the hot spring, which really ruined the experience. Other than that, the hotel was excellent, especially the value for money of the buffet, particularly dinner.
The hotel is located deep in the mountains, so access is difficult, but the front desk staff are very friendly and you can enjoy a panoramic view of Nagasaki's nightscape from your room!
We stayed for 2 days. Since our child was older, we booked 2 rooms as there were no triple rooms. The hotel arranged 2 rooms next to each other, which was very considerate!
This hotel has an elegant environment and comprehensive facilities, including a swimming pool and a comfortable large bath. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind, making you reluctant to leave. The only downside is that the bed is too hard and the mountain road leading to the hotel is rugged. But I will definitely come back if I have the chance!
A well-deserved Sasebo Hotel with a beautiful view. Staying here means you don't have to go to various observation decks with very inconvenient public transportation to enjoy the scenery of Kujukushima. The hotel itself is a landscape, located on Yumihari-dake, a 5-minute walk to Yumihari-dake Observation Deck. The shuttle bus is on time and efficient, the buffet breakfast is varied, and the staff...
The hotel is standing on the hill looking down Sasebo harbor. You can see the islands in Saikai National Park depends on the room direction. They have a big bath and the private bath both. Driving up the hill may be a little challenging because the road is narrow and winding. Hotel stuffs are very polite and helpful. Breath taking view with a hotel pool where people use for the wedding reception....

Very nice stay. The room was small but very comfortable and clean ! I recommend.
The hotel is quite far from Sasebo Station. The staff service is good, the cleanliness is good, the bed size is appropriate for the room size.
Affordable in a good location. Self service laundry is cheap but the dryer doesn’t work well.
This is a very comfortable and clean hotel with an excellent location. It takes only 3 to 4 minutes on foot to reach the shopping district. Nearby, you can find cafés, restaurants, ramen shops, convenience stores, fruit shops, and even a 100-yen store, making it extremely convenient. In addition, just a 5-minute walk will take you to the nearest bus stop, where you can catch a bus to the 99 Islands...

A nice hotel with onsen, the hygiene is above average but not the best. Quite cheap, worth it. The hotel restaurant is not good.
If you wish to visit Huis Ten Bosch and stay there overnight, I would highly recommend this hotel. It is walking distance from the Huis Ten Bosch train station and to the theme park. You can arrive in the morning, store your luggage, enter the theme park and spend the whole day there before checking in at night.

I booked a non-smoking room, but the constant smell of cigarettes was awful. It seemed to permeate the room. The room has been renovated and looks nice, but when I dropped something on the floor, it got covered in dust, which was a real turn-off. I have allergies, so I chose a renovated hotel, but I was constantly sneezing and my nose was running, which was awful. The price was cheap and the location...
Even though I arrived in the middle of the night, the person at the front desk was very friendly.
The building itself is old and has a Showa-era feel to it, but the room was well-cleaned.
It was difficult to adjust the temperature of the shower.
Although it is a little old, the location was convenient and close to the downtown area. I would like to use it again when I go to Sasebo.
Basic room with basic amenities. There was two WiFi hotspots on the entire floor.
If all they have are smoking rooms, look elsewhere. One thing that I like about hotels in the USA is that they don’t allow smoking in the hotel.
Some cheap hotels or motels in the US do allow it but, likewise, if you stay at those you are asking for it as well.
First off there was a problem with my booking but even with the English japanese language barrier the front desk staff went above and beyond to help me get the issue resolved. With that you will be hard up to find a single employee who isn't extremely friendly or helpful.
The rooms albeit small to an American like myself are very cleanly kept and room service does an outstanding job making daily rounds...
This hotel has been in Sasebo for a long time. It's very typical of a hotel built in the late 1970's and 80's. It's still very enjoyable. I had a very nice stay there and it's close to everything. The train station and downtown areas. Venture under the back of the hotel and see the fresh fish for the sushi restaurant.

I have been here several times. It is one of my favorite get away spots. They have hot springs, a great international buffet, lovely rooms with great views. It is very modern and spacious. I also think the staff are fantastic and kind.
Recently renovated throughout. Great views of the Saikaibashi bridge, and the whirlpools below. Good breakfast and dinner. Walk the rose garden and continue with a stroll through the nearby fishing harbor to appreciate the spectacular natural surroundings. I would stay here rather than at the Huis Ten Bosch and take advAntage of their free shuttle.
Highly recommended. It offers good rooms and beds. Shower is nice. Plus they offer a hot spring. The lobby has free beer and other drinks and snacks. I will ho back many times.
Great hotel for families. It has everything you need (small pool, kids corner, buffet, spacious rooms, garden...) I highly recommend it.
Not a hotel, a resort! Absolutely perfect vacation stop. Entertainment in the evenings, amazing chefs and food prepared, and couldn't ask for a better atmosphere and lodging. Not to mention the staff that is always looking out for you. I'll be back many times! Thank you for the perfect stay!

A nice hotel in central Sasebo. The staff was especially well in solution-finding when a problem occured
The room is very narrow. For 2 people, it is already narrow enough, but when booking for 3 people, they still have to stuff another bed in. There is no place to put luggage. The plug for the hot water is also inconvenient. It is quite dangerous to carry it downstairs. The bathroom is even narrower. If you have very large items weighing more than 100 kilograms, it may be uncomfortable.
I was happy that the soaps were very stylish.
The Japanese-style room was spacious, clean, and well-ventilated, which was nice.
The washroom is not good enough
The space in the room is large, but the bathroom space is a bit cramped. The room heater cannot adjust the temperature, only strong or weak, making the room a bit stuffy and dry. There are English-speaking staff at the front desk for better communication.
The room was kinda small for three people , and the pillows weren't very comfortable. However, the front desk staff were friendly, and its proximity to the bus station was convenient.

This is a gem of high end stays in the Sasebo area. 5 star dining and accomodations. I've visited multiple times over the years including getting married on premises 16 years ago. Really is a nice hotel.
Paid 9,900 yen per head for a superior twin room with breakfast. The room we stayed was a bit aged, mattress was on the hard side and the fridge was a bit noisy. For the breakfast, bread was delicious, the rest were ok-ish. Very large carpark and convenient parking.

It's a bit far from JR Ureshino Onsen Station, so I'd recommend taking the bus. Ureshino Onsen's specialty is tofu, and it's quite delicious.
It is a nice place to stay to relax
Received a warm welcoming upon arrival at the hotel. The breakfast was however a bit disappointing, as the selection was limited.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It is a large hotel and the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay.
