Hotel The Textile in Gifu

Other than you need to carry your luggage up a short flight of stairs before the main entrance. This hotel is pretty much a very good deal for most travellers and even fellow japanese. Situated at the slightly quieter side of all night life bars and food, this place offers easy dinner and night supper options.

Room is very spacious, valued for its price. It’s more of a boutique hotel than a regular one. Friendly staffs, free coffee and top up of waters, selection of additional shampoos, conditioners and body wash for anyone particular about them or simply want to try them out.

Bath and toilet is a little tight but hey this is Japan and that’s expected of it. Haha

Ultimately I would feel it’s a good choice for more adventurous and easy going crowd.

It is located in Tamamiya-cho, a dining district near Gifu Station in Gifu City. It's located a bit down an alley. Conveniently located near both JR Gifu Station and Meitetsu Gifu Station. When you make a reservation online, you will receive a QR code, which you will use when checking in. The front desk is generally only staffed from 3pm to 10pm. If you go out at any other time, the hotel entrance will automatically lock, so be sure to carry the password given to you at the front desk when you check in. Although the room is not large, it is clean, the walls are well designed, and there is a large LCD TV so you can watch TV while relaxing in bed. There is a microwave in the room and a coffee maker on the first floor. It's reasonably priced and is a good option for people who just need to sleep. It can't be helped that the bathtub and bathroom are small.

Very close from the JR station, in the middle of the night live of the city, full of places where eat, drink and knowing people.
Room was very clear, with a full corner window, ac and dehumidifier, sheets were shining how white they were.
Staff is pretty aged, they don't speak English but all of them are ready to help you.
I booked early bird and so my room was very cheap, about 26€.
