Nagoya, 1-11-7 Kanayama Naka-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is budget-friendly and sits in a prime location right by Kanayama Station, making it super easy to use a 1-day subway pass for the Meijō line. Pro tip: use Exit 6 to get there the fastest. FYI, there’s an Aeon and a FamilyMart nearby if you want to grab a bite before heading back😗
The rooms feel a bit dated, but everything works well . You can pick up essentials like razors and toothbrushes...
Traveling solo to Nagoya, I still chose this hotel.
The breakfast area is quite small and can get a bit crowded in the mornings.
The hotel has a new and an old wing. My discounted room was in the old wing, so the facilities were a bit dated. Nevertheless, the Meitetsu property was still very well-equipped with everything I needed, and it was spotlessly clean. Its proximity to Kanayama Station made visiting the aquarium very convenient. The front desk staff were also very friendly.
The hotel is super conveniently located right after exiting Kanayama Station; just walk through the commercial plaza. There's an Aeon mall right next door, making it incredibly easy to find places to eat, drink, and shop. The lobby even has claw machines featuring Nagoya-themed plush toys. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, everything tasted excellent. The room was very quiet, and overall...
I always choose this hotel. It's incredibly close to Jinshan Station, just a few minutes' walk, and its main draw is convenience.
Environment: Excellent. The location is easy to find and very convenient.
Cleanliness: Impeccable. The room was clean and completely odor-free.

An old-school Japanese ryokan. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are well-maintained. The onsen (hot spring) is definitely the highlight, though it's a shame there's no outdoor bath. It's mostly locals staying here, which creates a really nice atmosphere.
Very old hotel. However, great location. DONKI just beside the hotel
It was nice stay. The hotel has their free Onsen (public bath) and it was not bad. I gelt their breakfast was local (nagoya?) taste. I saw variety jp meals there.
Good hotel, helpful staff and good Onsen. A good experience overall 😄
Hidden gem.
No many tourists.
Locals mainly.
But very affordable with SPA and nice breakfast
This is my second time staying Nagoya Crown Hotel. Best part of the hotel is that it is with Onsen.

Small but clean bed room and bathroom. Fast elevators, onsen on top floor with coin laundry, microwave, ice machine, drink vending machine. Near restaurants and malls
Located in the heart of Nagoya, the hotel's general location is excellent, it's clean, and the staff are very friendly. However, the surrounding commercial district definitely felt a not-clean.
Got a room a good price, emergency stay, air conditioning is not controlled by the user, rooms are very small, with a desk, also toilet rooms, but APA hotels have onsens as far as I know if you don't mind going to public bathrooms.
Great value for a hotel smack dab in the middle of all of Nagoya's action. We chose this hotel due to the breakfast buffet option, but were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, the attentive staff, and amenities. Breakfasts both days were excellent, with an incredible assortment of fresh pastries and various Japanese and Western options. The restaurant allows breakfast guests to order beverages...
Good business hotel nice and clean. Room is quite tiny so expect that. Also I suggest it will be a little difficult to find hotel as there are two APA next to each other. Different but same name. Another suggestion is to provide English customers some instruction for room heater controls and for television. Also for some reason my reservation by my name was not acceptable to front desk without...
Friendly staff and clean room. Onsen on the top floor open almost all day. Mtr station nearby.

Facilities: A bit dated,
Cleanliness: Very clean
Service: Excellent, very attentive
It was a nice stay. I can recommend this hotel. The location is good.
The front desk service was excellent. The room was a traditional Japanese compact style, very clean, and having breakfast and a large public bath was a great plus. Overall, it offered great value for money.
After exiting the subway, Gaode Maps led me to the back entrance, and it was a bit hard to find since there was no clear hotel signage at the back of the building. The hotel name on the building...
I use this when I'm working in Nagoya City. 😌
I have a car🚙, so I use it, but the facility's parking lot🅿️ is mechanical, so it won't fit a long-sized bag!
However, my boss uses this parking lot when I'm at work, so...😅

Nagoya, 3-18-30 Marunouchi, Naka-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was very dusty. The mattress was uneven, because no one sleeps on the side against the window; it should be turned to ensure it's used evenly. The onsen water was too hot. The changing room in the onsen is very small and half of the lockers are without keys or unusable.
Small little business hotel, if you are couple of good friends then you can adjust else take 2 seperate rooms.
After 3 days they change and clean mattress and room
Public bath, spa, big tv, all towels, shaving kit almost everything provided
Stayed in the hotel for a few nights. As is to be expected, the rooms are tiny. Tiny, meaning there is just the bed; a small table; not really enough room to move between the table and the bed; and a toilet. There are also only a few elevators (and no stairs), so it might take some time to get down if you happen to have a room in the upper floors and lots of people are using the elevators - especially...
Good location for a stay in Nagoya, but the hotel parking lot charging 2,000 yen per night, which is a little bit expensive. The public bath is simple, but the price is reasonable charging 8,740 yen. Free VOD with free movies.

the staff is so helpful and polite. If you can't understand japanese they have English speaking staff so you dont have to be afraid. its near hisaya odori park and has a Starbucks across the street.
Fairly up to date rooms, clean and safe. Breakfast buffet observe social distancing guidelines. Plenty of hand sanitizer throughout the hotel.
Spa is frequented by noisy people most of the evening and not very comfortable.

Excellent service during my stay! My luggage didn't make it on my flight, but the front desk staff not only helped me communicate with the airport quickly but also proactively considered my pregnancy and assigned a room close to the elevator, which was incredibly convenient. Plus, I received daily reminders for complimentary snacks. My experience far exceeded my expectations.
Though small, the room had everything we needed and was spotless. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The hotel offers a full range of facilities and is super convenient for nearby attractions and shopping malls. Highly recommend!
The hotel is conveniently located about 4 minutes walk from exit 13 of Sakae subway station making it an excellent choice for those looking to explore Nagoya. The hotel's staff were accommodating to our requests of having both single rooms side by side with each other. Overall, for the price paid, it is certainly value for money.
⭐ The elevator is hidden behind automatic doors inside the building, which can be a bit inconvenient for new guests checking in, especially since there are only downward escalators, making it hard to get to the second floor.
⭐ This hotel doesn't provide bottled water (you can buy it at Lawson downstairs).
I actually saw a lot of negative reviews on Xiaohongshu and booked this place with some trepidation...
The room I got this time had a very loud humming noise, either from the air conditioning or the ventilation system, that went off every so often and really disrupted my sleep. The room wasn't huge but it was sufficient, and the hygiene was good. The shower had great water temperature and pressure. The service attitude was also excellent.
Not far from Sakae, so transportation and shopping are incredibly convenient. Japanese hotel service is generally excellent. We stayed three nights in Nagoya, but one of those nights was extremely expensive and there were no rooms available, so we left our luggage here for a day and stayed at another hotel temporarily. On the third day, coming back here felt just like coming home. Other than being...

I stayed here with my daughter. The location is super convenient, really close to Nagoya Station, and there's a Matsuya and a convenience store right downstairs. The only downsides were the small room and small bed, but for the price, it was excellent value for money!
Best size, best view and best design. Although this hotel have aged a little but you cannot feel it.
Very near station, easy to find, for one night stay, it is very good enough
Very close to Nagoya Station. The room is well-equipped, and the bathtub and shower are separate. The breakfast is delicious.
The room was neat and clean, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered a great view. It was a bit small, but perfectly fine for a solo traveler. The facilities were comprehensive, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The location was super convenient, right in front of Nagoya Station, with a Lawson convenience store downstairs and the Katsuo Izakaya across the street.
I I came to stay here for the second time, and I feel this hotel has a perfect location. It's near JR Station, within walking distance to the subway line and bus station. It was good luck to get cheap one room during Japanese Grand Prix
The room was clean and comfortable.
I used the hotel because it included breakfast, but it got very crowded after 8am, and a child from a foreign family started coughing right before the meal, so we were unable to eat in that area. Our tables were also close to the people next to us, so we couldn't relax. It would have been nice if they had come up with some other measures, such as limiting the number...
It's quite close to Shin'eicho Station on the Higashiyama Line. The only difference from other Toyoko hotels is that they don't offer free hot coffee upon check-in. I've had free hot coffee at Toyoko hotels in Kagoshima and Osaka before.
I think this is a place that is not far from Sakae Station and offers good quality at a relatively low price.
I stayed here to attend a live concert. It was conveniently located near the station and within walking distance of the venue.
Breakfast is good and located on the first floor. It's about a 10-minute walk to the bustling area. Nearby, there's a shuttle bus to the international airport. To get to Nagoya Castle, you need to take the subway, which is about a 40-minute walk.

The hotel rooms are small but cozy, very clean, and well organized. The facilities feel quite new. Most importantly, the hotel’s location is extremely convenient. It’s very close to Sakae Station and the bus terminal, making it easy to reach Chubu Centrair Nagoya Airport by either train or bus. The hotel is also near the main street, with plenty of restaurants, shopping centers, and sightseeing spots...
Friendly staff who were very nice and helpful. Location is close to good restaurants and less than 10mins from Fushimi or sakae station. Great water pressure and heat, and amenities plentiful from the lobby. One minor thing to note is there's no air-conditioning, it's just heating (not sure if it changes in summer) but we had a window so could open cool the room when it was warmer.
Great location, very close to the subway. The hotel service is also good, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The streets are very clean, which makes everything convenient. Nagoya is a beautiful city with both mountains and the sea. Highly recommended!
The room was really small, but it had everything one could need. The front desk staff was also very friendly. Right outside, to the left and right, there are restaurants, beauty stores, souvenir shops, and more – super convenient and easy to get around!
The hotel is about a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the subway station, which is its only downside; everything else is great. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, allowing early luggage storage and check-in at 2 PM. The area is quiet, perfect for solo travelers, and not crowded. There's a FamilyMart convenience store at the corner and plenty of dining options nearby. It's also close to Rong
I really liked this hotel. It isn't far from the subway in order to get to Nagoya station. The staff were very welcoming. The facility was very clean. The room was small but extremely cosy. Nagoya castle is not far from the hotel.

Close to the train station, great option for a one night, close to many restaurants and lively area
Good overall stay. The location is convenient, within walking distance from Nagoya Station, making it easy to get around.
As typical for APA hotels, the rooms are quite compact, but clean and functional. The bed was comfortable, and everything worked as expected.
Service was efficient and check-in was smooth. Breakfast was decent — not exceptional, but perfectly fine for a short stay.
A solid option...
The hotel is conveniently located near the station, the rooms are clean, and the large public bath was a great bonus.
This hotel was perfect for my business trip. The room was clean and the large public bath on the second floor was a real plus. Check-out was super easy – just drop the key card in a box. I also had dinner at the ********* restaurant on the first floor; the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend this hotel!
Great location and very convenient including DIY laundry, lawson store and spa. We will come back again.👏
The facilities are new, efficient, and wonderful. The large public bath was also great. APA members can enjoy the 11:00 check-out time. The room was compact, but since I was traveling alone, it wasn't a problem at all.

Lovely room. Very modern and yet a bit of Japanese vibe. Breakfast was also delicious and there was a good variety. Hotel was very near public transport.
I had a fantastic stay at ibis Styles Nagoya! The first thing that hits us is the cool, industrial market-themed design. It’s very photogenic and a nice break from standard business hotels. The hotel is near the train station, very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s very comfortable and good value.
Clean hotel. Walking distance to Nagoya station, there are convenient store nearby; 7-eleven etc

The overall service at the hotel is good. The front desk staff speak English, and there's a convenient store right downstairs. The location is excellent, quite close to Meieki (Nagoya Station), and it offers good value for money. It's definitely recommended for a short stay or a transfer.
Japanese hotels are always compact and charming, immaculately clean, and I've rarely had a bad experience. Branded hotels, in particular, offer even more peace of mind. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit.

The room was clean and comfy. Staff were really nice and friendly. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast as well, like homecooked food, very comforting. And I love that they provided a warming eye mask free of charge everyday! It came with the towels. Excellent service!
It is nearby Nagoya station. walking about 8 minit from Nagoya JR station.
The location is quite convenient. However, the single and double rooms are the same size, which makes them feel too cramped. The breakfast is decent, but it gets incredibly crowded, with queues extending all the way to the elevators. The environment is chaotic and the management needs to improve to avoid such long lines.
Great location, just in front of Nagoya station. There is a new underground tunnel L4 exit that can be easily reached. Very useful during rainy days. Sound insulation is something that can be improved. Noisy sounds during night time. The coffee machine at hotel lobby is the best place for me.
Room price includes breakfast, while the options are limited, the taste and quality is good. Love the curry and it's soft scrambled egg. Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks...
- Service: The staff service are somewhat moderate.
- facilities: Of all my stay, only this hotel provide a spa.

The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem.

You can't open the window at night because the smell of barbecue from downstairs drifts up, even though my room was on the top floor.

Very conveniently located next to the train station and animate. There is a convenience store on Level 1, and the hotel is close to the meetup point for my day trip to Takayama. Luggage delivery service is also available, although the form needs to be filled in by hand.
The location is really nice, almost walk by 7mins, if you good at the deriation, hotel look clean and tidy. Also, you walk 4mins to the Japan local supermarket, you can taste the local fruit and food, I had stay at 14F with nice windows side. Wonderful night views.

Very close to Nagoya main train station and bus station, just spends few minutes from station to hotel. There are many restaurants nearby, also a 24 hours open market mall. There are not many items in breakfast, however, the restaurant is clean, good staff, the food is good.
This reception staff offers poor service. I paid for 2 adults and 1 kid and there was only 2 pillows in the bedroom, I asked for the 3rd one and I was told it’s not available. After several requests, I have ultimately or the 3rd pillow and I asked to talk to the front office Manager for a solution.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Location is good, we just took buses to go Sakae and Nagoya Station - there is also a 7/11 across and beside is a Mega Donki. The hotel is too pretty, nice colors and adequately sized. Amenities also are provided, and staff were all accommodating. If was a great experience - too bad i didnt have the time to try the public bath. Highly recommended!
It's a pretty hotel and the price is very reasonable. Just a little far from the center but it's understandable

Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite good. The location isn't too far from the subway station, but finding the entrance with luggage for the first time required a bit of a detour, which was a minor inconvenience. There's an Ichiran Ramen nearby, so finding food was very easy. What I particularly liked was the excellent soundproofing; despite being near the elevator, I barely heard any rolling...
The location is decent, a little far from Nagoya Station, but I can live with it. This was my first time staying at this chain, and I'd definitely consider it again. Good location, it located between Nagoya and Sakae station, only 1 station far away. It is very convenient if you take airport bus from airport as there is a nearby airport bus stop, just 500 meters by walk. The room meets standard and is comfortable, It is valuable. All goods! They have Onsen and lot of amenities. You can have the toothpaste/toothbrush/pajama/skin lotion/face remover/face wash basically everything! You dont need to bring your own at all, only traveling wears.
For me, the location is a bit far and it’s hard to find the lift/elevator from subway to hotel. Recommend to find Exit 10 and go out by Kitte building.
Clean room. Friendly staffs. Also the public bath was great. Really appreciate for the excellent trip!
This is the third time we stayed at a Vessel group hotel in Japan and it has not disappointed us. They managed to keep the high standards they promised, room is of decent sizes, with comfortable bed and a small sofa They separate the wet and dry bathroom. A big plus of Vessel group hotel is the public bath, it is small but adequate.
One slightly down size is it is 12 mins by foot from the Nagoya...

• The hotel was good and clean, but the breakfast lacked variety and appeal.
• The shuttle bus was hard to find and had inconvenient timing, leading to a taxi ride due to heavy luggage.
It's conveniently located right next to Exit 8 of the Marunouchi Subway Station. However, if you have a lot of luggage, the elevator down the station can be a bit far and requires carrying it up and down the stairs. Therefore, I recommend taking a taxi to return to Nagoya Station.
Although I didn't use it this time, I really appreciate the shuttle service to the main station.
Clean room and friendly staff. Their complimentary breakfast showcases some local specialities, a nice touch!
Traveling with a suitcase is difficult, so the shuttle to Nagoya Station was very helpful. The driver was also very polite and pleasant.

It is very convenient to go shopping
There is also a convenience store next to the 1st floor
Although the hotel has been established for a long time
But the facilities are clean and good
This is my second stay. Compared with other hotels, the room is more spacious and the bed is bigger. There are many restaurants nearby and it is very convenient. There is a convenience store downstairs.
