Brilliant hostel near fushimi station takes less than 10 minutes to get to Nagoya station , great hub for the Sazuka Grand Prix, very friendly and English speaking. Would return .
The best choice for a budget solo traveler. It offers free unlimited drinks all day, unlimited curry with rice for breakfast, unlimited fresh ramen noodles at night, and free alcoholic drinks in the evening. There is a lounge on the 11th floor, a public bath with a hot pool and sauna, and free shampoo, body soap, conditioner, hair gel, hair spray, and face and body lotion. It also provides free toothbrushes...
I love this place. I hesitate to let people know just how great it is because I don't want more competition to stay here but this place gets all the stars. The capsules are super spacious and comfortable. The spa (womens) is clean and stocked with everything you could need (free). Two meals provided and a lounge with sweet retro games. Additionally this place is near alot of the nagoya highlights i...
Nice hostel. The bed was comfortable enough for me. Easy to go around too since it’s not far from train station
I enjoyed my stay here! The onsen is tattoo-friendly FYI ☺️. The sleeping capsules are equipped with a tv and connected headset, a lockbox, and an outlet to charge various devices. I highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers.
I had to book a last-minute stay in Nagoya and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The facilities are excellent. The entire staff is very friendly and attentive to any request. I would definitely stay there again.

Nagoya, 4-3-5 Sakae, Naka-ku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Great location! 👍🏻 The facilities are old but very clean. There's a Saizeriya and a convenience store right around the corner, a drugstore across the street, and other dining options nearby. Being next to a government building makes it feel very safe. Compared to other Sakae subway exits, this area is quieter. It's tucked behind a building on the street, but still an easy walk to other parts of Sakae...
We loved our stay at this hotel. We highly recommend it.
Very disappointed at price to value. 1) The room basically consists of a bed, not much space for your luggage etc. 2) The room has both conditioning system and a humidifier but there is no English information on the use to be found 3) I would advise against taking breakfast, I did not like it at all. While in Japan where most meals are tasty even for 800 yen, the value of the breakfast is very...

Friendly and very accommodating. will recommend this to my friends and family
Compact sized room but suitable for solo traveller. Amenities are prepared and can be grabbed more if need.
Same like other R&B hotel, good 3 star hotel in town
Customized key card, with your own name and date of stay. Clean room. They change the trash can and have new bath towels everyday. They also allowed to leave my luggage prior check in for free. Accommodating staff. I was able to borrow an iron. You can also get your toothbrush and night wear in the lobby. There is a common microwave and free ice cube and cup to use. Clean and comfortable, with very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again. The location is excellent, with plenty of convenience stores nearby. It's situated in Sakae, a vibrant district of Nagoya that also offers numerous nightclubs. Consequently, there are many restaurants, making dining incredibly convenient.

The location is excellent—just a 5 to 7 minute walk to Nagoya Station. The bed is soft and very comfortable. Even though it’s a single room, there’s enough space to fully open a suitcase. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for budget-friendly accommodation in Nagoya
Great location, very convenient for getting around. The room was a bit small, but the price was reasonable, so I'm quite satisfied.
This was my first trip to Japan, and after checking out nearby accommodations, I found this place to offer the best value for money. It's also super convenient for getting around Nagoya, especially with its proximity to the station.
Location is good. Just 6-7 mins from Nagoya station. A choice of Japanese or Weston set. There are some simple side dishes buffet. Nothing too fancy. Day time female staff are more friendly than night shift male staff. I couldn’t connect my iPad to Wi-Fi so asked them for help. One of the 2 guys gave me a poker face and cold shoulder while the other said he wouldn’t be able to connect it if I...
The hotel room is really small for the price you’re paying. Usually, if I pay around $100 per night, I get a much bigger room elsewhere, so just keep that in mind. The room also feels a bit old, and overall it’s just small. The bathroom is small as well, and the hot water doesn’t stay warm for long—it turns cold on its own, which is a bit inconvenient, especially if you’re visiting in winter. That...
The hotel's location is great, right across from JR Nagoya Station, and there are tons of food options nearby. The downsides are that the room is small, the bed is 1.2m, and the soundproofing isn't great. There's an all-you-can-eat BBQ place for 5500 yen per person, a chain unagi (eel) restaurant for 4500 yen, and a Ton-yama ramen shop for 1000 yen. I highly recommend all three – you won't be disappointed...

My stay at HOTEL LiVEMAX BUDGET Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi was fine overall — nothing standout, but nothing terrible either. The room was standard for Japan: small, compact, and functional. It had everything I needed for a short stay, but don’t expect much space or anything particularly memorable. Service was also standard — polite and efficient, but very minimal interaction. The location is the strongest...
Booked this mainly because it was close to Nagoya Station (350m). But during our 3 night-stay we used more the Kamejima Station (550m) as starting point to get around the city. • Check-in and check-out processes were both easy and quick • Room 3/5 We liked that there was a microwave provided in the room • Cleanliness 4/5 • Facilities 3/5 • Breakfast was included. Know that it is packed and to be collected...
Hotel room & toilet clean & tidy. Bed mattress was comfortable. Room with microwave, fridge & kettle. Convenient for travellers. Location was strategy, very near to MRT Station. Recommended
clean. there is a water dispenser too at the lobby. good location too (walking distance to nagoya st and shishimaru ramen 😊
Need a little walk from the station. Clean and small room but very accommodating. The bed was fluffy, water pressure at bathroom was great as well. Bathtub with warm water is a plus point if you wanna relax after exploring Nagoya. TV worked great.
First impression is new and not so small. However, the toilet is small and the towels are small and thin. . The air conditioning works well and the elevators are fast. It's nice to have new equipment. It's not far from the Escha exit, so I think it's comfortable if you use it sparingly.

The employees were very helpful and nice! The room was cozy and clean. We asked for a non smoking room and we got it. We will come back!
I used this hotel for an overnight stay before an exam. I chose it because the price was cheaper than other hotels in Nagoya. I was worried about whether my reservation would be confirmed, but I was able to stay without any problems. The facilities provided the basic necessities for a comfortable stay.
The walls are thin. But if you're just looking for a cheap place to sleep, it's close to the station, so I think it's perfectly fine.

The price was very reasonable, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the station and a convenience store. The surrounding area is quiet, so I was able to sleep well. The room is small, but it’s not a problem if you just need a place to sleep. Basic amenities are provided, so overall I had a comfortable stay.
The place was okay — a bit small, but overall manageable. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating, which we appreciated. However, we had an unpleasant experience with one of the crew members. A lady from the staff approached us to tell the children to close the door and keep their voices down, but her manner was unexpectedly intense. Her facial expression was angry, and her tone felt aggressive...
One of the comfiest beds I've slept in whilst in Japan, most are solid but these weren't. Friendly staff at check-in and great location just a few mins walk from the station. It's a little far from the center, so it's quiet. There is a cafe on the first floor of the hotel, but there are no convenience stores nearby, so it's best to eat before going there, or buy something to take with you on the way. The exterior of the building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and are clean. I was glad that they provided wet towels and bottled water when I checked in.
The price is great! It's a little far from Nagoya (just 10 minutes), so it might be a good idea for those with lots of luggage or during hot weather, but there are times when a shuttle bus is available. And the amenities are amazing! You don't even need to bring your own skincare products! Shampoo and conditioner are provided, but if you're concerned about that, you might want to bring your own.
It's been renovated and is now beautiful, but the bathroom is about the third smallest I've ever stayed in. It wasn't originally designed as a business hotel, but the walls are about average for a business hotel, so if you're worried about noise, you're out of luck. It's far from the station, but the advantage is being able to park your car flat in a big city. If it's raining and you don't want to...
Nice, warm hotel with great staff and adorable room. 15 minutes walk distance from nagoya station. We stay 5 nights and really enjoy it. Very clean, comfortable small room. Bathroom also clean & neat. The staff really helpful. They have service area, that makes you can do your laundry by your own. Microwave & vending machine also available in public area. Surely we love to coming a & stay here again...
Close to the station and convenient to the supermarket The room was clean and the bed was made every day.
The location is a bit far from the station, but it seems that there is a shuttle bus Despite the appearance of the building, the interior is clean and it was good to stay at a reasonable price.

bathroom is clean , but sofa is old and need to be clean. it is about 10-15 min walk from Nagoya main train station. so far so good.
Simple yet clean room, with everything you need for a stay for solo travelers or couples, though perhaps not for families with young children. The balcony is a plus, and the location very close to Nagoya station is great.
It is what you paid for because it’s a budget hotel. The rooms is like someone’s home. It’s ok for 1 or 2 nights. The room I had has a washing machine inside. They is a dryer downstairs which costs 100yen for 30min. Pretty standard.
Stayed for one night and conveniently located near Nagoya JR train station (about 650m following main road), and within walking distance from Nagoya city centre. There are many convenient stores located near the hotel too. Hotel service staff was very friendly. Value for money. Thank you so much, I had a wonderful and pleasant stay.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the main road of Rongcheng, but overall the hotel met my expectations. It was perfectly fine for one person. However, some room doors are quite difficult to open; I happened to get one where I had to squeeze in sideways every time. This might be something to consider if it bothers you.
Big, clean, and a great location.
Hotel Livemax Nagoya Sakae East The hotel was fine overall and did the job for a short stay. A timeless ambiance, a pristine environment, and an unexpected sense of home.
I booked this place on short notice, and it turned out fantastic! The room was very clean, and there was a 24-hour hot spring bath, so even if I arrived late at night, I could still take a bath to relieve my fatigue. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. A perfect score overall!
Nice host who speaks English. Delicious Breakfast Set! Nice simple onsen.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay. I especially liked that the baths were open 24 hours a day. There were only a few amenities, so I recommend bringing some travel items with you.

Location: Very convenient, just a 1-minute walk from Meitetsu Higashi Betsuin Station. Including one transfer at Kanayama Station, it's a convenient location with access to Nagoya Station in about 10 minutes. Cleanliness: The entire hotel smelled bad, likely due to renovations. The location if near subway gate and big street, also has convenience store nearby so it’s very good. It’s under renovation when I came but the undergoing work didn’t disturb guests at all. Unfortunately, it was under renovation so I couldn't see what the exterior looked like. It seems to be a very old hotel, and the facilities were generally outdated. I'd like to come back once the renovation is complete.
Old hotel, wouth in daily business trip. Near in metro station also
Even though it was a non-smoking room, there was a bit of a smell, which was disappointing. The bathroom also seemed quite old. It was very cheap, even though it was the end of the year, so it was helpful. The subway exit is right in front, so it's very accessible.
The room was small, like an old business hotel, and I was bothered by the cigarette smell, but the location was about 20 minutes by subway from the center of Nagoya, very close to the station, and there was a convenience store nearby, so I thought it would be a good place to stay for a business trip.

Check-in and check-out are convenient and self-service. The location is excellent, close to the shopping street with many restaurants and diverse food options. There's also a large drugstore nearby, which is very handy.
Stayed in a triple room with two double beds and a twin. Perfect room and size for my family of four. I do wish them at there were better cafes and options for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Many of the local cafes didn’t open until later or catered smoking clients. Otherwise, the location was great.

Stayed here for two nights in the summer, and thought it was very well suited for people travelling by themselves or for business. Shared bathrooms and toilets, but didn't find this to be an issue. It's conveniently located near Sakae Subway Station and there's a convenience store on the way. Some people have commented that it's noisy because they can hear the outside noise, but it was quiet because my room faced the back.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Oasis 21 Nagoya Science Museum, and a simple breakfast is provided. You can choose between sandwiches and curry, and adding toppings to the curry makes for a hearty breakfast. It is clean, but the facilities are old.
I stayed at the hotel without meals, but the interior design, service, facilities and amenities were not that great. However, the location is close to Sakae, so I think it's perfect.
I had a pleasant stay. I also felt like I got a good deal by being able to change the breakfast service to a Komeda's breakfast. Above all, I was disappointed that I had lost my watch, so I was really grateful that they called me to let me know and arranged for it to be delivered to my home.

The overall environment is great, and parking is very convenient. The room is clean and tidy, and there's a gas washing machine, so the facilities are complete. The only downside is that the room window is too close to the railway, making it a bit noisy at night.
The hotel is very clean and tidy. My bedroom was spotless. It had toiletries, clean and soft sheets. I'd definitely stay here again.
As the name suggested, it is a budget hotel. No frills. less than 3-5 mins walk to the train station. One stop to Nagoya Station. Location wise, it is good. Cleanliness, meh.. There are stains on the blanket, bedsheets and dust everywhere. But than again, this is a budget hotel so don't compare this to a 3-5 stars hotel. Amenities – pretty nothing much around.
An average room, a bit like a dormitory. It has a balcony overlooking a corridor, but it faces the subway, so it's a bit noisy. However, transportation is very convenient, especially for me since I was heading to Nagano Prefecture the next day.
The hotel is very close to Nagoya city center, just one subway stop away. The front desk staff seemed to be Indian or Nepalese, and they were very warm and polite. However, because it's near Otohobashi Station, there's some train noise at night, which can be a bit loud. Despite that, the room was quite spacious, offering great value for money compared to other Japanese hotels in the same price range

The hotel has a great location, making it very convenient for getting around and accessing nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. The cleanliness of the room could be improved. Noise from outside the room and neighboring rooms can be easily heard.

An ultra-budget capsule hotel – they charge extra for water and a toothbrush. They also ask you to clean up your own linens (it's a good thing you don't have to wash them when you check out).
I initially thought I had booked a regular room, but it turned out to be a dormitory-style capsule instead. If you’re traveling light, this place may suit you, but there isn’t much space to store luggage. There’s no locker or safe provided. We booked a tatami room for four people, and the size was perfect for three of us. 👍 The room's soundproofing was a bit lacking, making it noticeable to people walking by or chatting in the living room. Great location, right across from JR Nagoya Station. There's a 7-Eleven nearby with plenty of food and other things to buy. I highly recommend the yakiniku, ramen, and unagi. The hostel is a bit old, but still quite clean. Nagoya isn't a traditional tourist city, so it's not too crowded, perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet.

The fare was 3600 yen. Using Google Maps, it was about a 700-meter, 10-minute walk to the hostel. Actually, getting off at JR Station would have been closer, but I wanted to check the Meitetsu train schedules...
