2 star hotels in Shizuoka

The hotel is incredibly close to Shizuoka Station, about a 5-10 minute walk, and surrounded by restaurants, Don Quijote, and convenience stores, which was really fantastic! I highly recommend it! Also, if you walk about 10 minutes, you'll find the Shizuoka Prefectural Office and Sunpu Castle & Park. On a nice day, it would be perfect to visit the Prefectural Office (opens at 10 AM) to see Mt. Fuji...

Although the room didn't have a bathtub, the shower booth was unlike anything I'd ever seen before, and it was fantastic!

Nice hotel to stay, near donki and some night place

The place is clean and hygienic, with no smell of smoke, and it's very close to the station. The staff are kind and have a great attitude.

Located in the heart of Shizuoka City, this is a very good, well-established hotel.

Great hotel. Room is quite spacious considering in Japan. Friendly staff.

Close to the station and it saves money or tim

very good hotel. good location. many shopping nearby.

Clean, friendly and reasonable price, close to everything. Thank you.

I understand the facilities are old, but there were bugs in the room, and it was so itchy I couldn't sleep. The cleanliness was very poor. It was cheap, so I stayed there and then regretted it. I will never go back.

Parking is available just at the another side of the road. The hotel is old but the reception is great. A map with nearby attractions by hand is shown at receptions.

Very friendly English-speaking staff. Bathroom quite worn down.

cheap old business hotel. i stayed there for 3 days and they only cleaning my room 1 day. but its one of cheapest hotel near shizuoka station so i can agree with their service.

Receptionist are good relationships

This was our second stay with our family. We had a plan that included two meals, and as always, the food was delicious and the portions were just right. We appreciate that they thoughtfully prepared potatoes and fruit for our young children. Last time, we booked the public bath early, but the water was too hot, so this time we booked it after dinner. It was still a little hot, so we added some cold...

I personally had a great experience, I loved the tatami floor in my room and the bath on the 4th floor. Perfect for a solo traveller, close to the train station. Thank you!

It's inexpensive, so you might think it's business-only, but that's not the case. While the overall building is a bit dated, the rooms, toilets, and bathrooms are all clean and well-maintained. There's also a local information guide near the front desk, so I'd recommend it to tourists as well. There are even cats! If I had to nitpick, the room doors are made of metal and are noisy when they close...

Although the accommodations are a bit older, they're clean and well-maintained, so it wasn't a bad experience. We had to use the shared bathroom, and it felt like we were experiencing an old-fashioned Japanese bathhouse.

First visit: May 5, 2023 I was planning to stay home quietly during Golden Week, but ended up going to Shizuoka and staying at Kagetsu Ryokan. The deciding factor was the breakfast! I don't want to eat anything bad in the morning, so my family always prioritizes breakfast. The Japanese breakfast was truly delicious! The toilets are shared, and the rooms and bathrooms feel a bit old, but it didn...
