Shizuoka, Okitsu Azuma-cho 1234 (16 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was basic, but the spa was amazing. Large and a lot of stuff to do. Good dining options in the complex.
I've been here a few times. The baths and saunas are the best. I also like that the sauna has free rock baths and you can always use clean towels as much as you like. There are so many types of baths that time flies by. However, I always get a plan with meals included, so I think it would be nice if the food could be varied. Last time, the sashimi was lukewarm, which was disappointing. I'd be happy...
It's very good. It has everything to eat, drink and have fun, especially the hot springs. There are many pools and open-air pools.
This natural hot spring is a volcanic hot spring that flows from Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka, and has a beautiful sea view. It's a place you can easily enjoy with your family and friends! It's a great place to go to release the fatigue and stress from work.
食事処も和洋中と数ヶ所あり選べたし、お風呂も5〜6ヶ所あったので、あちこち入って楽しめた。カラオケやゲームコーナーもあり娯楽設備も整っていて子供も大人も楽しく過ごせる。
very good! The pick-up and drop-off driver's service was average. He didn't help with greetings and was quite impatient.

Highly recommend this hotel! It's in a fantastic location right next to Shizuoka Station. Step out and you're at the train and bus stations. You can catch a bus from platform 11 at the bus station to Nihondaira, where the observation deck offers clear views of Mount Fuji. There's also a delicious Ippudo ramen shop right in the station. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and polite, always ready...
The price was incredible, I was really happy to get a room for less than 400 yuan. It's a shame I only stayed in Shizuoka for one day, but I'll definitely be back. The hotel service was excellent, and it's super close to the station, making transport really convenient.
Good location from Shizuoka station just exit North gate.
I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Associa Shizuoka — it’s a fantastic choice for both leisure and business trips! The location is unbeatable — right next to JR Shizuoka Station, which made getting around super easy and convenient
The room was spacious, and the location was super convenient – the airport shuttle dropped us off right at the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and there were shopping malls nearby.
Location is great- next to the station and shopping mall. Lawson is also downstairs-super convenient. Parking garage is right at the adjacent block-also easily accessible.

Great location with breakfast provided. Comfy and affordable stay!
1 block from subway station. Walking distance to bus stops and main attractions. Good breakfast. Larger rooms than other city locations
The room facilities are complete, and the hygiene is very good. The service attitude is excellent. It's a five-minute walk from the JR station, making it very convenient to get to Miho no Matsubara and Nihondaira. The port has the Chibi Maruko-chan Land museum and Shimizu Fish Market. There's also a ferry terminal at the port with boats to Toi, Izu. This is a transit hotel with great value for money
Location of the hotel was excellent and right next to the train station. Breakfast was very small but it was included so can't really complain. We did enjoy our stay!
The breakfast was simple but good. The location near the station is perfect.
Situated near the station, good business hotel, everything is there, ideal for basing and exploring the region. Japanese breakfasts, delicious. Good Wi-Fi. Shizuoka is a super city.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room was cleaned thoroughly during my stay. The in-room facilities are a bit old, so travelers who are particularly sensitive to cleanliness might want to consider this. On clear days, you can even see Mount Fuji from the hotel elevator! The front desk service is attentive, and non-Japanese speaking guests can communicate in English without any issues. Most...
For a Japanese hotel, the room was quite spacious. The hotel is a circular tower, and all the guest rooms are on higher floors, offering views of Shizuoka, with some rooms even boasting Mount Fuji views. You can also see Mount Fuji from the windows in the hotel hallways, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't good during my stay, so I didn't get to enjoy the view. The location is excellent and very...
Went for honeymoon trip but quite disappointed with the room. The hotel looks quite old without much maintenance. The cleanliness truly need further improvement as we found suspected fake eyelashes from previous guest but not clean and left it in the bathroom. Kindla disgusting. The floor with lots of dusts if you did not wear slippers.
Very convenient location right across the station. Great view of Mount Fuji from the elevator, and wonderful view from the room too. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Room was spacious and spotless, you can also get what you need easily on the floor of your room. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
Stayed two night at this lovely hotel. Staff at the reception were really patient and warm during check in and checkout. On my first night during check in, the lady was exceptionally helpful and patient with my queries, and helped me with the process of takkubin! My room has a panoramic view of the city with Mt Fuji at the background! Bed was comfortable.Breakfast spread was great and not crowded.
Just a five-minute walk from Shizuoka Station, this hotel offers convenient access. The service is top-notch, and it seems to be a well-established hotel with excellent facilities. It's super easy to get to the airport or go shopping nearby. You can even see Mount Fuji from the hotel, and the breakfast spread is diverse and delicious.

The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Terminal. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage, which was really helpful since my bus wasn't until almost noon.
This Hotel is located just opposite of the Takayama JR Train Station it’s very good location to travel around thec city of Takayama and close to convenience store FamilyMart. The location is great, just a few walk from Nohi bus station and JR station. Also a walking distance to all attractions. Free onsen and the staff was very polite and friendly.
The location is very convenient just right in front of the train and bus station. There’s a large public bath on the 2nd floor, the amenities are all good and you can also borrow a hair straightener while staying. The room is good and clean just right for a solo traveler. The bed is okay (some might find it kind of hard), the only thing that bothered me is the pillow, it’s hard so it is difficult to...
We booked two rooms. The single room was a bit too small for three people, so two rooms were just right. The hotel thoughtfully arranged two adjacent rooms at the end of the hallway, which was convenient for us to visit each other. There's a bathtub, and it wasn't crowded, which was very relaxing. The building was new and clean. The hotel staff were also very nice. If I had to say something, I was bothered by noise from next door or above.
There are a lot to like about this hotel such as the location, sound proof room, public bath, breakfast buffet, free happy hour drinks, ice cream and snacks. Highly recommended.

Room was spacious and hotel had lots of little perks like happy hour drinks/food, free breakfast, TV with Chromecast feature. Enjoyed my stay. Hotel was lovely, compact but enough space for two people and location was good as well. No major complainrs would visit again for sure.
The hotel was located about 3 to 4 minutes walking distance from Shizuoka Station, and there was a 7-Eleven at the base of the hotel, so you could even walk there in your pyjamas because you didn’t have to go outside. The hotel room was nice and spacious enough for two people, and it had all the amenities we needed. The laundry room was really good and was one of the few, if not the only, laundry rooms...
Excellent location near Shizuoka Station and the shopping mall. Only 5 parking lots and all fully booked. It was raining when we arrived, so that was inconvenient. To have to park elsewhere and find the way back in the rain. The twin bed types are unusually large, like 2 queen beds. Leaves little space for luggage. Good for fam with young kids though.
The location is quite convenient. If you exit Shizuoka Station's South Exit and walk straight for two blocks, you'll see the hotel. Along the way, there are a few izakayas, and right next to the hotel is a 7-Eleven. The front desk is on the second floor, and you can self-check-in/out. The only issue was that a family of three (with a three-year-old child) in a double bed felt a bit cramped.
I booked two single rooms on the ladies' floor this time, and the rooms were still very spacious and quiet. The ladies' floor also has a dedicated coin-operated self-service laundry room, and the rooms are equipped with hair straighteners, facial steamers, and even face masks and foot patches, all available for free. Overall, it's great value for money. The location is also excellent, less than a five...

The accommodation was clean and the room was very spacious; I could easily fit two large suitcases at once. The breakfast was delicious. The staff came to collect the trash regularly. I have a suggestion: if you opt for a less-than-full-service cleaning, you'll receive two cans of beer. ❤️
The place was very welcoming and very nice, just a word of warning the ***** bath is not tattoo friendly, if you have small tattoos less than a size of a post card they can give you stickers to cover.
The location is not very accessible without a car, but it's a cheap and comfortable stay. And the hotel has a bathroom, so it's great for showering.
I stayed here on a family trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were also very helpful!
The hotel is clean and tidy, the room is comfortable, and the air conditioning is adequate. I'd like to thank the hotel staff for their willingness to translate for us and assist with our problem, even though we had to come to the hotel for some personal matters. Thank you very much. 😊👍
The hotel room was spacious for Tokyo standards; it was a simple, budget hotel. The onsen (hot spring) dressing area was rather small and required queuing. The staff were polite, but the cleanliness of the public areas was average compared to other hotels. Perhaps because I booked late, the price was relatively high.

A good place for budget travellers. It is located not really close to the Shin-Shizuoka Shizuoka station, yet both are in the walking distance. Neighbourhood is not busy or crowded. Bath and toilet are good and the shower especially has a strong water pressure. The room is extremely small; apart from the bed, there are almost no other spaces left. Great service! It's super close to convenience stores and public transport. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
Very satisfied! A particular highlight was the young Chinese lady at the front desk. An alright hotel, but falsely advertised on booking.com. Our room was listed as having 2 bunk beds, but only had one. The hotel's floors feel like a museum, taking in the beautiful retro-style interiors. The service is good, and everyone is very polite. The hotel has only one washer and one dryer, which doesn't dry well. I ran the dryer twice for 30 minutes, and my clothes were still lukewarm, not hot as usual, and they weren't completely dry. Stayed here just one night. It was great!. They provided free simple dinner and drink. I didn't expect that. They also provided transportation in the morning to Shizuoka station. Overall I am very pleased with their services. Thank you.
Although the location is a bit far from Shizuoka Station, they provide a shuttle service. The Shizuoka oden and draft beer served every evening are a special treat. The breakfast was good and the service was excellent, so it is a hotel I definitely want to visit again.
It was an old building, but even though it was close to the train tracks, the double-glazed windows meant that the noise wasn't an issue. There was also a convenience store nearby.
Perhaps because the building is old, it felt a bit worn and not particularly clean. The room, bathroom, and washroom were both located quite high, so it felt a bit stressful to have to climb the stairs every time I entered. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! It's located on top of a mountain, but there's a convenient shuttle bus from Shizuoka Station. The views from the room are stunning, and the large lawn feels so soft underfoot. It's a shame the weather wasn't great on the day we checked in, so we could only see a hazy Mount Fuji. I am not sure why this does not have a higher rating, I have only stayed one night and I can say everything was above expectation compared to most hostels I have stayed in Japan and I did stay in quiet a few. Room super clean, I had no issue with outside noise, you get a welcome drink and they also offer dinner for a modest price in my opinion. Me and my friend enjoyed our stay.
There was confusion at check in about the different types of beds available. I ended up with a private loft for a decent price. It had 2 beds, so I assume if there was another person with me we would have split the price, which would've been even more convenient. They were kind to give me hangers to hang dry some of my laundry. Service is kind and pleasant. Location is near station, but not far enough...
Something we're great. The capsule/cabin rooms are a good size and mattresses are comfortable. Hated that the only shower was in the onsen which is not always available due to split times for use by men and women. This room is a top-floor suite with a dining table and a 1.4-meter twin bed. Knowing we had children, they even prepared an extra bed, which was comfortable for two adults and two children. The lobby on the first floor offers free drinks, skincare products, and more. There...
We booked two rooms for three people: one single and one double. The rooms were the same size, but the beds were so large that they would be quite cramped for two people. There's coffee and tea service on the first floor, and a laundry room on the sixth floor, so the hallway can get quite hot. There's a shared microwave. Toiletries were very complete.
The Quest Shimizu Hotel is conveniently located near Shimizu Station and popular attractions, offering excellent transportation. With numerous dining options nearby, it's an ideal base for exploring the Shimizu and Dazaifu areas.

A bit dated but the toilet is refurbished. The bed was Sealy’s and was super confortable. Just next to the station and the room was pretty big. A very tiny bit of smell from the carpet or the walls probably.
It’s a nice little business hotel which is relatively near the station. All the entertainment area is on the other side of the station. You shouldn’t expect any nice views but the cost of the lodging would definitely make up for it.
Clean and conveniently located. The building itself is quite old but rooms seem to have been renovated recently. Kind staffs and good for the price 🙂
