Hotels with sauna in Shizuoka

The baths and saunas are the best. I also like that the sauna has free rock baths and you can always use clean towels as much as you like. There are so many types of baths that time flies by

I'd be happy if the breakfast could be improved a little more. Still, it was the best relaxation, and I've already made a reservation for next month, so I'm looking forward to it

However, I always get a plan with meals included, so I think it would be nice if the food could be varied. Last time, the sashimi was lukewarm, which was disappointing

It's a place you can easily enjoy with your family and friends! It's a great place to go to release the fatigue and stress from work

It's very good. It has everything to eat, drink and have fun, especially the hot springs. There are many pools and open-air pools.

The Annex Hotel, located right next to the railroad tracks, has a spacious parking lot and, despite being right next to the tracks, is relatively quiet

Room was spacious and hotel had lots of little perks like happy hour drinks/food, free breakfast, TV with Chromecast feature. Spread at breakfast was good but if you went later some food would run out

The hotel appears to have undergone a renovation, making it clean and stylish. Breakfast was particularly satisfying, and drinks, alcohol, and curry rice were provided during happy hour at 6 p

The rooms were classic Japanese style. The onsen was nice and allowed tattoos! There were snacks and 1 beer free in the evening, which was nice. Breakfast was buffet style and tasty.

Very nice rooms. Whilst the staff do not speak a huge amount of English they try very hard and have devices that can help them translate! Overall a nice hotel if not a little basic.

Please note that the sauna bath is time-limited. Tenjinya is nearby, which is convenient. I would like to use it again.

The large communal bath in the hotel here was also a large communal bath because no one was using it and I happened to be able to enjoy it alone. So I had a unit bath in my room, but I didn't use it

You can see Granship from the room. Granship was also about 5 minutes by car. The other photo shows a large shopping mall called MARK IS Shizuoka on the left side, which was about 5 minutes by car

Shizuoka tea, where the welcome drink is at the front desk, was always available after the paper cup. There was a welcome drink in the room, and a PET bottle of water from Mt

As for the bath, I was able to use a large hot spring facility in the neighborhood about 5 minutes on foot, and it was very nice to get rid of my tiredness at the hot spring

There is also a convenience store in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel parking lot was right next to the hotel

📍 Suikoen 翠紅苑 @ Sumatakyo, Shizuoka 🇯🇵 (Stayed 1 night on 16 November 2025) We stayed one night on 16 November 2025 at Suikoen (翠紅苑) during our visit to Sumatakyo, and it was a peaceful and traditionally charming ryokan stay surrounded by mountains and fresh forest air

🌄 Convenient Location for Yume no Tsuribashi Suikoen is well positioned for visiting: • Yume no Tsuribashi (夢の吊り橋) • Sumatakyo hot spring area • Forest scenic trails • Local shops and rest areas The surroundings are peaceful, especially in the morning and evening

A bit hard to get to and the road was scary! Once there, the onsen, kaiseki and service were second to none! We have stayed in 4 onsen ryokans (including Gero) in the last 4 weeks and this one is superior! The staff are friendly and welcoming of gokugaijin

The little village is also friendly and unique. Recommend the suspension bridge walk and also going "off peist" thru many old tracks

The ryokan was quiet at night, making the stay peaceful and restful. 🅿️ Free Parking + Garden Smoking Area The ryokan offers free designated parking, very convenient after finishing the valley hike

We stayed for 3 nights in their Tsudumi room with a view of the rock garden between us and the back of the onsens. We enjoyed the impeccable service by their international staff

Japanese tatami, the room is much bigger than expected, brunch is included, dinner is 11 courses and I am very full, you can take a hot spring bath, there are two indoor and outdoor ones

The staff are very friendly, and the location is perfect for visiting miho no matsubara; you may need to take a bus, then walk 15 minutes, but it’s a beautiful walk

We had a wonderful stay, although the location was a bit challenging to find and quite far from the city. Right outside our room was a beautiful blossom tree, adding to the charm of our experience

It would have been helpful if the communication regarding dinner reservations was clearer, as we weren’t aware we needed to book in advance

Fortunately, the staff recommended a lovely restaurant within walking distance that was still open, and we really enjoyed our meal there
