The room isn't very spacious; it's a compact twin room, and the bathroom facilities aren't the newest. However, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to Toyama Station, and they even provide free tram tickets

Good location, the train station is just within 5mins walking distance. F&B is below and nearby there's many. The famous ramenya and Toyama sushi shop is just at next street. Cleanliness is good for 3 stars hotel

Proud of their good service! When I returned back to the hotel around 515pm to 530pm, my check in was performed by a male trainee staff (i saw from his badge) and it was all great as well! I handed in my passport for the formality and he issued my breakfast voucher and room key readily

I stayed here, paid for parking at the counter. So I have to pay 2X for parking. because I went out for dinner after 1-2 hours of checking in. You should pay directly cheaper. they are not good at explaining to guests

This hotel is within walking distance from the JR Toyama station. As I reached the hotel on 30 Dec at around 11am, the staff knew that I was a tourist and was able to converse in English with me

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Good point: you can find a hotel of this chain literally anywhere and they are close to stations. Prices are reasonable.

We were able to get to the shinkansen lines very early. service is top notch for a non luxury hotel. As expected, rooms are really small. In our couple room, we barely had enough space to walk while fixing our luggages

Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully)

8mins walk from JR station but easy to find, open hot bath with magnificent view. breakfast is good with options of western or japanese style. Get a good price at trip.com, will definitely return next time

Second time staying at this hotel. Love the public bath on the top floor overlooking the Teteyama mountains. Good breakfast.

The room is small but you can just sleep. The large shared bath has a great view and after bathing there is draft beer which is the best. (It would be better if I put it in for 24 hours) And the breakfast was delicious

The hotel is right next to Toyama Castle, and you might get lucky and see the Tateyama Mountain Range from the side. There's a convenience store and a tram station across the street, which is generally good

The breakfast spread included 3 kinds of sashimi: sea bream, Japanese amberjack, and salmon. I loved the sea bream sashimi. The breakfast salad bar was enhanced by the restaurant's own exceptional ginger dressing

I have a lot of business hotels and felt like I could reach the itch because it had only the most modern amenities. Now it is fully equipped with the necessary sockets and USB terminals

Nice, clean hotel at the centre of Toyama. You can easily reach the hotel by taking a tram from the JR toyama station. But english speaking staff were very less.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in September of 2025. The hotel's breakfast served at the ground floor's sushi restaurant called "Aburian Toyamazushi" was exceptional

Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can help yourself to skincare products, tea, or coffee. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean.

The breakfast is pretty good, especially if you like sashimi. The location is very convenient for getting around. However, the room size felt smaller than what was advertised, maybe it wasn't the internal usable area

Stayed in a standard twin room for 2 nights. The room is slightly too warm as it operates on a central heating system. The rest of the hotel facilities are excellent. The staff are warm and friendly

The front desk service is amazing. The hot spring is very comfortable. The room is clean and hygienic with a dry and wet separation. The mini bar has pudding and mineral water. The breakfast is also very sumptuous

It's just a 15-minute straight walk from Toyama Station. Remember to bring a bath towel when you go to soak in the hot spring!! The lady checking out was very gentle. I hope you like the panda pendant

I asked for a high floor room that overlooked the station/mountains - I did get a high floor room but a side view of the building beside the hotel

Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable

We left the hotel at 6:55am and arrived at Pier Bandai, a commercial facility near Niigata Port, by 10am. This is something that can only be done at a hotel that is almost directly connected to the interchange

We planned to leave by 7am so went to the breakfast restaurant at 6:30am when the breakfast venue opened. There was a line of people there who had gathered just in time for that

This may be something that is unique to a hotel with a name that goes "XX Interchange", but there are a lot of people trying to leave the hotel early in the morning

As its name suggests, Hotel Route Inn Toyama Inter was located at the junction with the general road after exiting Toyama Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway

This hotel offered the best value for money during this trip. It's not far from Toyama Station. It's a five- or six-minute walk from the North Exit, and there's a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite

The double bed is too small. I did not have a good sleep But the view is fantastic

The interior decoration and design are a bit old. I look forward to the next time I come to renovate it. You can park for one night for 1,300 yen. It is very good for self-driving tours

The hotel was near the railway station, and it was walking distance to the various shops at the station. The staff was polite and professional in checking us in. The room was small as per Japanese standard.

It is not far from the most beautiful Starbucks, and it takes only 10 minutes to get to the city hall observatory. The hotel room is not big, which is similar to Japanese hotels, but it feels clean

Its transport links are excellent, making it incredibly easy to catch either the Toyama Chiho Railway or JR trains, which is especially convenient for accessing Tateyama

Isn't the price set by *them*? How does that relate to the room's structure? Did they design rooms this way just for a certain price point? To avoid any further brain-damage, I decided not to speak to them for the rest of my stay

I think that it is the best for those who stay alone as a single, are accustomed to staying at a hotel, and do not want to interact with people

When you think of Route Inn, you think of a large public bath! But this hotel doesn't have one. It's a 5-minute walk from Toyama Station. There's a Lawson store nearby. There are also many restaurants nearby

When it's busy at breakfast time first thing in the morning, there aren't enough seats, so some people have to wait. This can be inconvenient if you're in a hurry

If I had to say something, it would be that the front desk is on the second floor, and the elevator always stops there when going to the first floor

We stayed in this hotel from 20/11 to 21/11. It was a relaxing stay for us. The onsen was great and the water was smooth, and I like the outdoor onsen in particular as the view was great

People of older age groups would like this kind of place, but there are large luggage and lottery machines for children, so it would be good to bring young children

The smell of the tatami was amazing! (^^) The room was spacious and beautiful, almost too big for a single person. It was so clean, I did notice a few strands of hair in the corner, which bothered me a little

The hot spring has an open-air pool and you can also enjoy endless beautiful views. You must choose the one night and two meals package, because there are no restaurants nearby, you have to eat at the hotel

For the price paid this is an inexpensive business hotel, compared to other better known hotels (in Japan). It is only at most a few more minutes walk than the hotels right next to the train station

The single bed room was small by western standard but completely serviciable. It's also right in the middle of multiple restaurants and izakaya so there's no going hungry or for lack of choice

And even if you're on business and not going out, the inn provides an alcoholic welcome drink, so you'll be pleased. There's also a washer/dryer, so you can do your laundry for free

I had the most incredible stay at River Retreat in Toyama with my friend Millie! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable

The Western one cooperates with Rafa. Both hot springs are very good. It is best not to open the balcony door in the countryside. When introducing the hotel's artwork, a big four-legged snake appeared

It's so great. The room is super big, the view is like a painting, the outdoor hot spring is really a beautiful view for health preservation, the French food is so-so, but the Japanese food is good

Be sure to make an appointment for the pick-up. There is a bus to Kasuga Onsen at 1 pm on Saturday. It takes nearly 50 minutes to get to Kasuga Station. You can see the hotel sign and walk for 4 minutes to arrive
