Pros: Very close to the station, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. Cons: Poor soundproofing for the floors and walls, and the room layout was impractical.

The front counter servers good English communication and hospitality.
Very close to the main station, bus station and supermarket.

In the early morning, I could hear the snoring of the guest in the next room, and it bothered me so much I couldn't sleep. What a shame!

The hotel is a block away from Fukuyama Station, a three-minute walk. The advantage is that you can't hear any train noise at all. There's a supermarket and an Animate store on the basement level. The hotel lobby on the first floor is quite nice; the main lobby is on the 8th floor. The room I stayed in was on the top floor, the 16th floor, but unfortunately, there wasn't much of a view. The hotel staff were very welcoming. The room was fairly large, and the corridor was spacious, but the walkway between the foot of the bed and the TV was a bit narrow. The air conditioner vents were designed to face downwards, so they ended up blowing directly onto the bed, which was a bit of a letdown. The biggest problem with the room was a slight odor; everything else was satisfactory.

The breakfast buffet had sea bream rice chazuke, which I thought was ingenious, and of course it was delicious. I was able to start the morning feeling rich and had a good day. I have relatives nearby, so I stayed overnight in Fukuyama City, which was a good starting point for Onomichi - Shimanami - Imabari - Takamatsu Castle. I don't have any photos of Fukuyama, so I'll post a photo of Takamatsu Castle.

Room was a bit old but overall is good for short stay. Staff are helpful

Although it has a business atmosphere, the rooms are clean and the front desk has amenities, which was helpful! The breakfast was delicious, and when I asked the staff how to make the limited-time menu, they kindly explained to me. I would like to go again!

There are 2 elevators for 16 floors and the reception in on the 8th floor. It might takes some time to catch an elevator.
