The breakfast buffet had sea bream rice chazuke, which I thought was ingenious, and of course it was delicious. I was able to start the morning feeling rich and had a good day. I have relatives nearby, so I stayed overnight in Fukuyama City, which was a good starting point for Onomichi - Shimanami - Imabari - Takamatsu Castle. I don't have any photos of Fukuyama, so I'll post a photo of Takamatsu Castle

Although it has a business atmosphere, the rooms are clean and the front desk has amenities, which was helpful! The breakfast was delicious, and when I asked the staff how to make the limited-time menu, they kindly explained to me. I would like to go again!

There are 2 elevators for 16 floors and the reception in on the 8th floor. It might takes some time to catch an elevator.

Clean and comfortable hotel situated close to transport ie train station, shops and restaurants. Comfy beds, great bathtub and good sized rooms. The only drawback was the bright light that would go on in the toilet at night. Breakfast was well organised with lots of choices. There is a laundry with dryers as well but it was on a different floor.

There is only a sauna and Outdoor Spa for men. Women only get an indoor warm bath, where the window is covered with stickers so you can barely look outside. It's farther away from the station because there is a parking lot, but the open-air rooftop bath is amazing. There is also a small sauna, and it was great to enjoy the night view from the large public bath while feeling the dawn.

I use it all the time and love the rooftop sauna.

The downside is that it's far from the station, but there aren't many hotels with large public baths, so I decided on this one. It was clean and I had a comfortable stay.

It's far from the station, more than a 10-minute walk. Parking is 800 yen per car. I think it's a bit expensive, and it's a hassle to make a reservation by phone.

The hotel is incredibly noisy. There are railway tracks right outside the window, and coal wagons clatter along at 1 or 2 AM, starting again at 4 or 5 AM. The hotel has a great location, right next to Fushan Station. The rooms are quite spacious, and it seems to be a renovated older hotel. The only downsides are that the toilet sometimes has a slight backflow odor, and the bathtub drains a bit slowly (though the water pressure is strong). It does have an air purifier, which is a thoughtful touch.

Its ridiculous that the air conditioner only comes with warm and wind mode, without cool. And there is no wind even i tuned it the highest. Eventually i had to open the window and asked for a fan, otherwise the room brought u liked an oven.

For me was ok to stay for 2 nights. Rooms are small as usual in japan. I cańt judge about hotel facilities or breakfast, because i really just stayed to sleep.

Even though we arrived late due to traffic congestion and in the middle of the night, they welcomed us with a smile. The room was very clean, and a comb and bath salts were provided. In the morning, they also prepared free croissants and pumpkin soup. They were delicious!! When we left, they opened the elevator for us and saw us off with a smile. I'm really glad I stayed here!!!

The hotel was clean, and the hair dryer and shower head were RIFA and very comfortable to use. However, from about 6:00 on the day of check-out, children's noise echoed in the hallway and was very loud. This continued for about 30 minutes, so I called the front desk and they warned me, but it was still very loud and unpleasant after that. It's not the hotel's fault, but I was a little disappointed...

Free parking fee. Breakfast service is buffet style, 850 yen per person if booked the day before, 1000 yen even on the day. The room is clean and it's a good deal depending on the plan. It would be better if there was a large communal bath.

Due to a sudden business trip, I had to book a hotel across the street from my usual one. Because there were so many tourists, the hotel rate was higher than usual, but I was surprised by how small the room was. However, as others have commented, the breakfast was clean and good.

The elevator was under repair, so I suppose the stress of that was a drawback, but the front desk was too friendly for a hotel. Maybe it's for inbound tourists. The tub bath is interesting if it's your first time, but there were a lot of older guys there so I felt a bit hesitant to try it.

Easy walking to the hotel from Fukuyama station. The Castle near the station can be easily accessed by walking ( not too tough for me who has a knee issue). I could see Toyoko Inn at the top of the Castle ground.Also the cathedral.

Maybe there were a lot of group guests? It was so crowded that we had to wait in line at breakfast time. Since we had to line up at the breakfast area, I was worried about having to reserve a spot and wandering around with food.

Our family of four was looking for a special experience off the beaten path. This hotel was lovely. We reserved a private onsen so we could try that. I stayed in a cheap room on the first floor, but I guess I got lucky that day? It was very quiet. The walls are apparently thin, which was actually a good thing. The breakfast had a good variety, but it wasn't particularly tasty. The rice was hard. I recommend the bread. They had locally made jam, which looked delicious.

I can't say the view was great, but it was close to the station and I was satisfied with the service and attitude of the reception staff. What made it better than other hotels was that it had white ceiling lights. I was very satisfied because the lights in regular hotels are dim and inconvenient for writing documents or reading.

I visited this place during coast--to-coast hike in Japan. It was a phantastic stay and I enjoyed the atmosphere, the helpfulness and the location near the top of the hill very much. One of the best experiences during my trip.
