2 star hotels in Okayama

It's very close to Okayama Castle, but the self check-in process was a bit cumbersome. The soundproofing in the room could also be improved. What was truly unacceptable was the room's cleanliness; there was a significant amount of hair on both the bed and the floor, making it feel like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time.

The hotel was very clean and pleasant to stay in. There are also a laundry room which was cheap. We had a nice stay there.

The hotel's front desk staff had a good service attitude, and it's very close to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden. However, during my stay, the air conditioning was under maintenance. Every time I manually turned on the heat, it would automatically shut off after about a minute, requiring me to manually restart it again. This led to me waking up cold in the morning. 😢

A little far away from the station but you have a tram stop really close. Comfortable beds, small bathroom, rooms bigger than average japanese rooms and a Lawson in the front building.

Good experience easy excess to station

You need to climb a few steps to reach the hotel entrance, so it might be hard for people with disabilities or those with heavy luggage. Cleanliness is OK.

I felt this hotel offered excellent value for money. It was close to the station and I appreciated the free breakfast bento box. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Okayama.

Because it's old, there are no outlets next to the pillow. However, they apparently lend out extension cords at the front desk. Old but clean. They provided a free bento box for breakfast. It was delicious, so I was very happy.

The elderly gentleman who checked me in was incredibly kind and helpful. I was very satisfied with all the services. I'm not sure if this was the only time, but the crows cawing in the early morning kept me awake. This hotel is great, but I'm worried I might not be able to enjoy it if they don't take care to keep the crows away.

The bed was huge and really comfortable to lie on. The room had a bit of a strange smell that I wasn't too fond of. It was a wonderful experience to connect with travelers from all over the world in the common room. A minor drawback is that the common room was a bit cold; even with the heater on, I still needed a blanket. It's a shame that the washing machine costs money to use.

Nice place, kind staff. Room was a little small, not a lot of place to leave the luggage, but the rest was ok!

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but given the distance, I have no complaints. Check-in was a bit confusing; I had to ask around a bar-like area and be guided to a nearby building. The room was perfectly normal, but the only downside was that there was no bathroom unless I went down to the first floor.

I had a great stay at Kamp Housman cho Backpacker hostel! The neighbourhood was calm and cute

I mean it was good .. everything was perfect...only thing which was creating a problem was that one guest was eating food inside the room which was not allowed...and the noise of chewing and smell of the food was nuisance
