Excellent hotel with direct access to Okayama station. The service, cleanses, location…. everything is top class!

Kudos to the service crew! Special thanks to Ms Kumomoto of the front desk for making extra efforts to direct us to a nearby clinic, went with us to the supermarket to get the masks and arranging the taxi to bring us there

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Traveling with our 8-year-old daughter, we were provided with a triple room. Its location is exceptionally convenient, with a dedicated walkway connecting directly to Okayama Station

We enjoyed the service and comfort of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was great too. Parking is available at the basement. It’s just next to JR station and many shopping malls.

Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden are absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit! Okayama is also a fantastic base for exploring nearby cities in Shimane, Tottori, and Shikoku, with excellent train connections

The breakfast offered a good variety of options, generally tasty, haha. We booked a twin room, and the space was quite decent

I also appreciate the long tea time and the excellent breakfast selection

The rooms were okay, service was good. There is a bakery at the lobby :) Nearyby the nearest FamilyMart was about 5mins walk away. To the shopping area, you will have to walk quite a distance.

Very tidy,reasonably priced hotel with helpful staff and nice restaurant.Small bakery shop inside provides good pastries and drinks until midnight.

Okayama City Hotel is decently cozy hotel where u can get good food and shop for items at a nearby Family Mart.

WiFi connection is poor. Location is far from Okayama station. It takes approx 20-30 minutes by walk.

The room is good view and they provide eyes hot pad for when you sleep to using. Even I stayed one night, they gave me a bottle of water. Pls mark it: they don't have water at room, but you can use ice~

岡山コンベンションセンターでのカンファレンスに参加するために滞在しました。 すぐ隣の建物なので屋内で移動出来る事を期待していたのですが、屋外での移動でなおかつホテルのエレベーターは2階に停止せず1階を経由してエスカレーターで戻らなければならず、動線設計に改善の余地があったのではと感じさせます。 その点を除けば、ホテルでのサービスには満足しています。エントランスのすぐ横にローソンがあるのも助かります。海外のお客さんを意識するのであれば、ジム施設が欲しい所です。

Good clean hotel very accessible.

Although it takes a few minutes to walk from Okayama Station, it is just a straight walk from the Okayama Castle exit and is also close to the tram station

Some of the facilities are a bit old, there is some weird smell from the room. The ventilation system is central air conditioning/ heater, the air conditioning may be a bit insufficient during hot days

However, there may be noises and people yelling from the bars nearby

I spoke to the front desk and they quickly changed my room, which I was grateful for

The size and configuration of the room definitely meet the needs, and the clean beds and bathroom are also great!

The location is excellent, and our room offered a fantastic view. The room itself was spotlessly clean and tidy. There's a convenient drugstore right downstairs, and countless dining options are available nearby

It was convenient! It's a 9-minute walk from Okayama Station, and best of all, they give you a warm nikuman (meat bun) in the morning, and you can take as much bread as you want, so I ate a lot and left early in the morning

Hotels in Japan are expensive on Saturdays, so I was just going to an internet cafe, but then a special sale came up, so I made a same-day reservation and stayed there

The ice cream and drinks are free, so it's a great place to save on change while traveling! I'd love to stay here again! The building was a bit old, but it was clean

It's great! You can buy lots of food at the front desk, like pasta and omelet rice for 100 yen. Although it was built a long time ago, it's very well maintained

Near to family Mart, there's a washing machine, breads served in the morning and steam buns morning and evening, popsicle sticks and drinks throughout the day

You can enjoy complimentary drinks and popsicles all day, and for just 100 yen you can get a delicious omelet rice dish or a large portion of pasta! This hotel also has its own unique mascot and related merchandise, such as shopping bags and pins, which are truly amazing! The best part is, the prices are incredibly cheap—it's practically free! I highly recommend Hotel Maira when visiting Okayama...

My only minor issues were that the separate hot and cold handles in the bath made it difficult for a toddler to adjust the water temperature, and despite a warning about the window opening wide, there were no safety measures in place to prevent it from doing so

As I was traveling with a small child, this was a bit concerning. Nevertheless, the room offered a fantastic view of Okayama's city lights at night, including the illuminated Okayama Castle

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Given its convenience for visiting family, I would definitely consider returning once the safety concerns are addressed or when my child is older

The amenities were impressive, including a razor, hairbrush, toothbrush, and shower cap, plus a POLA skincare set (toner, emulsion, facial pack, cleansing oil, and facial wash)

Although the furniture was a bit old, the room was exceptionally clean, including the bathroom facilities, and the linens were spotless, making for a very comfortable stay

The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were also POLA and felt great to use. Another plus was the strong water pressure from both the shower and bath faucets

Location: Excellent! It's super convenient – just exit the west gate of the train station, cross the road, and go through a passage. There are tons of food options nearby; a bustling snack street is right across the road

The staff are so wonderful and hospitable, they try their best to communicate in English. They sent you off at the lift landing when you leave for the day. The only downside is the toilet in the room

When I arrived at night, there was an Aeon Mall nearby, which met my needs; I liked the welcome drinks after drinking coffee and reading the hotel rules every day. The room was clean and hygienic

The location of the hotel is amazing as, 10min away from the JR station, you can wheel the luggage through Aeon Mall

When I came back from going out around 10pm, the temperature in the room was so high that it felt like the heater was on. I thought I couldn't sleep like this, so I called the front desk

The hotel is very close to Okayama Station. There is an AEON supermarket next to it. Donki and Takashimaya are across the street. Right within the station living circle. The downside is that it is an older hotel

Excellent choice for a reasonably priced, no-frills hotel. Breakfast and an adult evening beverage are included. There are also laundry machines for use with your own detergent (can be purchased at the front desk)

I spent a long time looking for the name when I checked in, and I met a wave of business meeting guests. Who said Japan is quiet? If it's a good place, it includes breakfast, and the variety is quite rich

Apa Hotel is in a great location a few minutes' walk from the okayama station, and the room was a good size for a solo traveller. Amenities are very clean with a great shower. Service was great, very polite, and helpful

My stay at APA HOTEL Okayama Station was impressive. Situated just 10 minutes from Okayama station, it offers excellent value for money. The breakfast deal is a must, especially given the limited options nearby

It has everything you would need- toiletries, towels and robe ("yukata"), under-bed storage and more. There's a microwave in the building, too. 💲 The price is reasonable and affordable. I paid about $100USD, or ¥10000

This was the second time I stayed in APA HOTEL Okayama Station, and it has been a pleasant stay both times. 🫲 Service is up to par to what you'd expect in Japan. I've never had a bad experience

🛏️ The rooms itself are rather small, especially if you're used to North American hotel rooms. But that seems to be the point of APA, and many other "business" hotel chains in Japan

It seems the rooms were recently upgraded with a huge screen mirror at the wash room, a second screen in the bathroom, and a third smart TV. IF the first floor doesn’t smell cigarette, I’ll give it a give-star rating.

The staff was extremely kind, and the laundry service was a huge plus: they returned all my clothes perfectly clean and ready to wear. If I ever come back to Okayama, I’ll absolutely stay at Hotel Lotus again

Most of these reviews are for the old hotel. Hotel LOTUS is amazing and one of my favorite hotels in Japan. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. This is the only place I would stay in Okayama

This hotel was an amazing surprise. Even though it’s listed as “Adults Only”, the place has nothing “kinky” or unusual about it —just a clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable stay

The room was spotless and huge, with a great bathroom, a jacuzzi tub, and multiple TVs —including one facing the tub and another built into the bathroom mirror

It's also very close to the Tenmaya shopping district, perfect for shopping. I highly recommend the nearby supermarket; a bunch of Shine Muscat grapes is only 780 yen – cheap and delicious!

The room wasn't large, but there was enough space to unfold my luggage. It's a bit far from Okayama Station, but very close to the post office where you can take the streetcar

They gave me a room with a view of Okayama Castle on the top floor. The room was not small, and I was able to spread out my 24-inch suitcase

I used this facility after sightseeing in Korakuen and Okayama Castle. The location was good, the prices were reasonable, and the bathtub was spacious and relaxing. The food was buffet style, which was nice

I was a little worried about the sound of the audio check that could be heard until late in the evening the day before and early in the morning on the day of the race, but I was able to stay at the hotel until just before the meeting time, which allowed me to conserve my legs and energy, and I was able to significantly improve my best time
