Conveniently link to Okayama Station, just a short walk that pass through level 2 area and link bridge to the hotel. The room is quite spacious with separate vanity and toilet area. The bed is comfortable and we rested quite well.

We enjoyed the service and comfort of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was great too. Parking is available at the basement. It’s just next to JR station and many shopping malls.

Absolutely delighted with my stay at this hotel! First off, I received a complimentary upgrade to a spacious 32 sqm room. What's more, the included travel pass offered a choice of three different perks, which proved to be incredibly handy. It's super close to JR, just around the corner! Plus, it has a public bath! It was great to relax there after a long day of sightseeing. I even got lucky and found a free massage chair, which was a real treat. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, generally tasty, haha. We booked a twin room, and the space was quite decent.

This was my second stay at the Okayama Garden Hotel, and I chose it again for its convenient location. It's within walking distance of Okayama Station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I also appreciate the long tea time and the excellent breakfast selection.

The rooms were okay, service was good. There is a bakery at the lobby :) Nearyby the nearest FamilyMart was about 5mins walk away. To the shopping area, you will have to walk quite a distance.

The room on the 17th floor has great natural light, and the view outside the window is beautiful and expansive. The room is very clean and tidy, and there's a free coffee machine available.

The room is good view and they provide eyes hot pad for when you sleep to using. Even I stayed one night, they gave me a bottle of water. Pls mark it: they don't have water at room, but you can use ice~

This is a wonderful property located just in front of Okayama station, which makes it a very convenient hotel to stay at. The room and amenities are very good as well!

It's about a 10-minute walk from the JR station to the hotel. Follow the signs for Aeon, go through the underground shopping mall, and exit at the Ximen Pharmacy exit. Turn left and walk for about 2 minutes. Turn right at the zebra crossing, and you'll see the hotel. It's an established brand, but very clean, with large, renovated rooms! Very comfortable! The hotel staff are very polite!

Since my check-in time was late and the date was about to change, I called before heading out, but they said "Any time is fine" and I was very relieved because I was getting anxious about not being able to catch a taxi. The hotel lobby and rooms were very clean and nice. I had plans in the morning and didn't have time to go to the bakery attached to the hotel, so I hope to use their services again...

Used for business purposes. The first parking lot fills up quickly, but there is a third parking lot so a large number of cars can be parked. The rooms are also clean and good. There is no large public bath or hot spring, but the price is cheap so it is not a problem at all. I would like to use it again.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's an easy walk with no obstacles along the way. Plus, there's a drugstore right downstairs, which is very convenient.

Its a rather atandard 3-4 star business hotel. What stood out was that the front desk went out of way to make my 2 young girls aged 6 and 8 feel entertained by taking out their robot mascot for them to play with during check in. Facilities are, as expected, quite scant. But rooms are comfortable and things inside work, though a bit worn - this suits us a family of 4 just fine.

I booked the cheapest "random room type" and arrived a little past 2 PM, just before check-in. They kindly gave me a super spacious king room with a balcony ahead of time! Love this hotel! Location is just far enough from the station and the madness but still close enough for a short walk. The rooms are spacious, pharmacy/mini mart open late downstairs, and the lovely Koraku scent that fills the lobby is wonderful. My favorite place to stay if it’s available.

Some of the facilities are a bit old, there is some weird smell from the room. The ventilation system is central air conditioning/ heater, the air conditioning may be a bit insufficient during hot days. Windows are available. However, there may be noises and people yelling from the bars nearby.

They were happy to store my luggage for me before check-in. The room I checked into smelled very bad, so I tried running the air purifier at full power, but it didn't help. I spoke to the front desk and they quickly changed my room, which I was grateful for. However, the room also started to smell bad over time, but I was able to sleep by running the air purifier and spraying some deodorizing spray

Staff don’t understand English. What ever you request such as additional pillow , you need to self collect at counter. But the staff is friendly, helpful and cheerful. Gave a cheerful smile whenever they spoke to customers.

The open-air observation bath has a great view, but there is no large bath and few washing areas, so it can be tough in the winter.

The highlight is the hotel's onsen (hot spring). The view is stunning, but the men's and women's onsens alternate days, offering two different views. The hot water is good, and the sauna is excellent, but the fitness center is small and not suitable for serious workouts. The beds and rooms are a bit old but clean. The view from the room is especially amazing at sunset.

I had a pleasant 1-night stay at Hotel Abest Grande Okayama. The location was convenient, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was well-maintained and provided everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it was a good choice, and I would stay here again.

There's a large Aeon shopping mall next door, which is convenient. The bathroom is very small, so larger people might find it cramped. The mattress is firm. The breakfast menu is the same every day.

The location of the hotel is amazing as, 10min away from the JR station, you can wheel the luggage through Aeon Mall. The service is absolutely amazing and provides different types of amenities in the front desk for you to choose.

The hotel is very close to Okayama Station. There is an AEON supermarket next to it. Donki and Takashimaya are across the street. Right within the station living circle. The downside is that it is an older hotel. No renovations.

When I came back from going out around 10pm, the temperature in the room was so high that it felt like the heater was on. I thought I couldn't sleep like this, so I called the front desk. The place is an old but well maintained house, the staff is really nice and friendly. This hostel is located in a good centric area, you can rent a bike with them and go to the Okayama Castle and garden, is very convenient.

This is my second time staying here. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the station. The staff are very helpful. The kitchen has tableware available for use, as well as a microwave, oven, refrigerator, and thermos. I will come back to stay here again if I have the chance to visit Okayama.

It wasn't too bad, but since it's a wooden building, the soundproofing wasn't very good. It was a nice, cheap place to stay, and the bike rental was cheap.

I've been to Japan over 20 times, and this is my first stay at a Smile series hotel – I'm really impressed! The room was genuinely spacious and comfortable for Japanese standards. The lobby is on the second floor and has a very charming and well-designed layout. The staff were also super friendly. I highly recommend it! Okayama is also a quiet and charming city.

The front desk staff were very kind, and although the hotel looked old, it seemed very clean. The location is very good, so I will definitely use it again.

The front desk service is quite considerate! The hotel facilities are a bit old, it is close to the main road, the noise of traffic outside is quite loud, and the sound insulation is not ideal. It is a certain distance from the station. The hotel has a parking lot, and the fee is a little higher than the surrounding area.

Nice and comfortable room however my room had building construction directly outside the window. I struggled to get sleep past 9am even though I was jet-lagged, also it was so loud I was nervous the people would be coming in through my balcony door! Last minute reservation due to my train arriving late in the evening. Hotel is fine, dated and not renovated but clean and decently managed. A 15 min a walk from Okayama station in a nice part of town. Breakfast was very good, they also have a daily happy hour that provides free beer!

It's very close to Okayama Castle, but the self check-in process was a bit cumbersome. The soundproofing in the room could also be improved. What was truly unacceptable was the room's cleanliness; there was a significant amount of hair on both the bed and the floor, making it feel like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time.

The hotel's front desk staff had a good service attitude, and it's very close to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden. However, during my stay, the air conditioning was under maintenance. Every time I manually turned on the heat, it would automatically shut off after about a minute, requiring me to manually restart it again. This led to me waking up cold in the morning. 😢

Very bad service hotel. This hotel didnt allow us to stau 1 room with our 2 small kids. I booked 1 room with 2 single bed but the reception forced us to book 1 another room. The hotel wasn't very clean; it was quite dirty and messy, with stains on the walls. There was a smell of smoke in the lobby, and the room had an odor. The bed was also rather narrow. The good thing is that it's close to the train station and opposite Aeon Mall, making shopping convenient.

This hotel was an amazing surprise. Even though it’s listed as “Adults Only”, the place has nothing “kinky” or unusual about it —just a clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for value for money! It's a little far from Okayama Station, but I think it's within a 10-minute tram ride and a 20-minute walk. It's cheap, includes a breakfast buffet and dinner, and the large public bath was also very satisfying. The elevator was old and a little scary.

I used this facility after sightseeing in Korakuen and Okayama Castle. The location was good, the prices were reasonable, and the bathtub was spacious and relaxing. The food was buffet style, which was nice. It was a little disappointing that there was no milk. As it was my first time using this facility, I was unsure about using the parking lot. Overall, it was good and I will use it again.

The rooms aren't big, but they're enough for a comfortable stay, and they're very close to tourist attractions. It's really cheap for a meal and lodging package. Many Japanese business travelers stay here too; it's always packed during mealtimes.
