The staff speaks very fluent english. The room is big with kitchen, warm enough, clean.

The uncle at the front desk was interesting and talkative. There are bicycles and barbecue grills for rent. Although the hot spring facilities are limited, it is very good if you are alone. Some comments said that the bathroom was not clean, so I took a picture and it was clean and shiny. I am very satisfied with the price.

After checking in at the hotel, we weren't staying here.

The waiter took us to another wooden guesthouse.

The rooms here were so old. I stayed in room 3 on the first floor.

It was on the ground floor, under the stairs.

The entire house was made of wood.

The noise from guests walking around kept me awake.

The room wasn't what we saw on Trip.com.

I don't know if they made a mistake assigning us a room.

Or maybe Trip.com made a mistake.

Everyone, be careful when booking a room.

Stayed several nights at the "Cottage style" room, which is basically a small independent house with a terrace, for a maximum of 5 guests.

THE GOOD:
The hot spring is great.

THE BAD
Although you can rent a barbecue set, and is equipped with a electric kettle, a fridge, a toaster and an microwave oven, it DOESN'T HAVE a gas or electric range, so it is basically impossible to cook using a pan.
The wifi router was BROKEN during my whole stay, and I could barely connect to to the wifi of the main building, and had to use my cell phone service for my most important communications.

The staff is very friendly. It is family-friendly, including providing amenities for children. It is easy to use Gaike Onsen. However, it would be nice if there were screens on the windows. It is nice that there is a kitchen so you can prepare simple meals.

Very clean and tidy! I checked in late and left early but could enjoy a good night's sleep and also an onsen.
