Tottori City Hotel in Tottori

Let me get the negatives out of the way first:

- Internet a bit spotty
- No coin laundry
- Decor a bit old
- Curtains are a bit weak and light seeps in through the material.

But at the end of the day this is a 3 star hotel. I can say the room is quite bigger than some other hotels I have stayed at. For a single room, there is desk with a chair and enough room for another chair and coffee table.

Attached restaurant on level 2 is also very good.

AC is in good working condition and the room is clean. Staff at the front were very helpful when looking into booking certain events around the area.

I used this hotel for the first time when I went on a business trip to Tottori. The outside was under renovation, but the inside was very clean and they gave me water as a welcome drink. I rented a smoking room, but there was no smell and it didn't feel like a smoking room. I was able to stay very comfortably. There is also a parking lot, which is very convenient. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Everything is cost-effective, except that we only received one small bottle of water during our four-night stay, which we could not get even if we asked for. Although there is a vending machine, it is still a little lacking in humaneness. I hope the hotel can follow suit.

good location and clean place

The room is clean, the facilities are convenient, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The service is warm and perfect, cost-effective, very close to the bus station, the surrounding environment is good, and it is very comfortable to walk by the river

At first I was surprised because I thought there was no air conditioner, but when I asked, they said there was a button on the bed. Although the air conditioner is managed from the control room, there was no inconvenience because you could adjust it!

The front desk service is good and the room is clean. It's a ten-minute walk from Tottori Station to the hotel. The location is good and it's quiet at night. The view of the cherry blossom trees on the riverside in front of the hotel building is beautiful. The room size is consistent with the description, and it is recommended to stay.

Humble, Japanese, cheap with good location. It feels like a time capsule from 1980s Japan. The service, smell of a bygone era and antiquated layout. This place has definitely seen better days. Perhaps it is December dates which is the plough of the tourist season when I've visited, Tottori City Hotel provides a warm respite from the cold and lonely streets.

Situated at a 12 minutes walk from Tottori station, it has a bus stop right outside the hotel which goes to the sand dunes or the train station.

Although I have put up the Do Not Disturb sign on the room door knob, hotel staff placed a tupperware box consisting of fresh towels, razors, hand towels amongst other toiletries. Such thoughtful gestures which I have not observed from any other hotels I've been to!

What can I say, it's simple, easily accessible and inexpensive. Go stay at Tottori City Hotel!

It was a cheap price. Considering the price, the front desk staff was very helpful and I would recommend this hotel. It's a little far from the station, so it's convenient to come by car, but the parking lot is small, which is a minus point. There are restaurants in the hotel, but there are many in the neighborhood, so it's fine for business use.
