It was a beautiful spot to take in the winter wonderland with a view. The hosts couldn't have been any nicer during our stay. They made us feel so welcome and helpful. The pension was very clean. I loved the sky cloud wallpaper on the ceiling, relaxing looking at it.
We loved playing "I spy with my little eye" in the common room with so many cool things to look at while keeping us warm with their lovely wood burner.
We didn't go for the breakfast option but did see it it from other guest and looked yummy and generous.
Highly recommend to anyone that likes pension style accommodation and that have a vehicle as it is a 10 min drive to town or skifield.

Room and bed are comfy, the point is the room has a window view and see what i film just from the room
the owner is very helpful and friendly, the most important is they speak good in english!

It feels homely, can tell the owner put a lot of thoughts into the decoration and ensuring guests have a good experience. Such as sanitary pad in the bathroom for emergency. The owner even sell some stuffs like kimono and handicrafts.

The room is located in the middle of the mountain. It is a private room. You need to go downstairs to take a shower. Maybe I am not used to living there, but the overall feeling is very good. This time I chose the plan without breakfast to experience the feeling of living in the countryside.

Delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. Friendly staff, very kind and attentive. Lovely communal living area with cozy fireplace. The snowmobile and ice fishing tours are unique winter experiences. Great value for money all around!

Cozy home with quirky decor and friendly staff. We stayed in the Dolphin room and did not hear any of the other guests. Laundry available for a fee, shared refrigerator. Staff was very attentive to us; they gave us fresh brewed coffee without our requesting it, like they were reading my mind! We don’t speak Japanese, and did just fine with the help of the hosts’ English.
