Spacious room with spectacular sea view! The room is tidy with great air quality. And the lounge provides a great variety of wine and drink to enjoy the sunset and other great moments during stay.

The buffet was quite crowded, offering a wide variety of food. The coin-operated laundry machines and smoking area were well-equipped. The room amenities included everything except a razor. You can wear yukata and slippers throughout the hotel, and there's a great drink bar available in the evening.

The location is a bit far from downtown area, room inside is a bit old, but they have refurbished the entire hall, lift etc. and the hot spring was fantastic! The breakfast selection was very impressive as well, so many selections!

Big room and nice bath area. Breakfast that ends at 9am and checkout time at 10am was also very early! Was disappointed that the dinner package was for western food meal. Would have been better if it was clear upfront or had the option to change/upgrade to a local Japanese menu meal.

Right next to Amanohashidate Station, the location is incredibly convenient. From the window, you can see the Amanohashidate sandbar and the opposite shore. The room is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. The breakfast quality is excellent and varied, plus there's a hot spring for relaxation. Superb value for money!

Room was a little small but its decent enough for a 1-2 night trip. indoor onsen was huge while their outdoor onsen has a view of the sea.

Beautiful location n next to train station. But the room is very dated, the toilet shower head pipe is broken n water spraying everywhere n even the toilet seats old. The onsen is good though. All the shop closes around 6 zzz , it is so so boring place. Not worth it at this price.

It was a bit strange that check-in wasn't until 6 PM unless you had dinner ordered. The hotel seems to be past its prime and is located on the outskirts of the village. However, the views over the village to the bay are beautiful. The washing machine and dryer were free to use. It was very spacious. Good breakfast.

I liked the pick-up and drop-off service at the station. It was clean and friendly. The only downside was the lack of a supermarket nearby. It's a good idea to pack some snacks beforehand.

Dinner was a rather high-quality Western meal. Breakfast was a buffet with a fairly diverse selection. The room temperature couldn't be controlled manually; only the fan speed could be adjusted. Restaurant service was excellent, and they even offered a shuttle service to and from the station. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, although the vending machine selection was somewhat limited.

The location is far from the station, and there are no restaurants nearby. Luckily, there's a hotel shuttle. The onsen hours aren't ideal... The environment is peaceful, suitable for a holiday, but the breakfast selection is limited.

In my opinion, this is one of the Japanese inn I have stayed in Japan. The room is very spacious. The morning breakfast is delicious. The inn is managed by a Shanghai couple. They are also very friendly. I will definitely stay at the inn again.

Convenient just opposite the tran station. Limited food in the area. Food in the hotel restaurant is limited. Had chicken chop was good thev2st time. Next day ate again. Portion is halved and the chicken tasted very strong.

This hotel offers access to the shared large public bath and breakfast buffet at the Amanohashidate Hotel located on the same premises. Given the location and value for money, I'm very satisfied. It would be even better if the room had its own toilet.

The hotel is located next to the sightseeing boat. It is very close to the bus station and Sansong Park cable car station. There is a supermarket next to it where you can buy fresh fruits, which is very convenient. The room is very large and modern. The food is very good and the bath is very new. I highly recommend this stay.

The lady who checked me in showed an unimpressed face when I declined the free wine for dinner. It seemed that I should be despised for not drinking alcohol. The other staff were more friendly. Also, I did not feel comfortable to walk bare foot inside the hotel. The stairs was quite steep too. The best part of my stay was dinner.

We felt sincere hospitality (japanese is おもてなし) of a Japanese-style hotel during our visit. The food was delicious and the service from the staff was warm. The hotel has a lot of history but is very well maintained.

Whenever I visit a grave, I always stay overnight. The food is excellent and the guests are polite and polite, so once you stay, you will definitely want to repeat. Recommended for couples.

The location is fantastic, right next to Amanohashidate. The views are incredible! After a walk around the Amanohashidate sandbar, coming back to the hotel for a hot spring bath was perfect. The onsen is superb; my skin felt so smooth and refreshed. I'd definitely stay here again if I ever visit Amanohashidate.

The front desk informed us that the tram service was suspended due to heavy snow. The hotel itself is decent, though the bathing facilities are communal. It was ¥600 on Saturday night, but only ¥300 on Monday. Haha.

It's very close to Amanohashidate, and the room has an outdoor onsen (hot spring bath), which is very comfortable. The round trip to the boathouse takes about an hour, and there are quite a few dining options nearby. I would consider Matsuro-tei again next time.

Ine, this is a recommended accommodation for a 2-day, 1-night trip to Amanohashidate. It would be nice to stay longer. There is a shuttle boat right next to the accommodation, and even if you don't take the boat, you can walk or ride a bike to get around, which is nice. Even if you don't choose dinner when choosing a room, if you speak some Japanese, there are local restaurants within a bus ride away...

Monjusou Shourotei is one of the best ryokans that we have been to. It was mid-February and the temperature was around 7-8 degrees Celsius. It was cold even with the heater on, perhaps because it was by the sea. It would be a good idea to dress warmly when sleeping. The staff were friendly.

The staff didn't mention the check-out time when I checked in last night. This morning, they started knocking on my door at 10:00 AM to say it was check-out time and kept trying to urge me to leave. When I arrived at the counter at 10:40 AM to check out, I was overcharged 4600 yen. It was a really bad experience.

The food was of good quality, the rooms were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. Unfortunately, the location made it very inconvenient to carry luggage; the long walk from the footbridge to the station was extremely difficult. simple hotel with shared toilets,to wash yourself you have to go to the hotel on the opposite side of the road,that has a sento. They can let you leave your luggage without any problem. This is a homestay style accommodation ran by an elderly couple, they cannot speak English but tried their very best! Heartfelt service here, from serving welcome snack to teaching us how to use the bath seaweed soak. Not to mention the awesome view. Only downside is that it is a 15 to 20 mins walk from the Amanohashidate station might be tough if you are not driving there.

My wife is a foreigner and would like to stay at a Japanese-style inn, so we decided to stay at this inn to celebrate her birthday. In my opinion, it was an inn that allowed me to imagine old-fashioned Japan. My wife was delighted and seemed at ease, even at the expense of sightseeing fatigue. Great location, very near amanohashidate train station and also right beside the rotating bridge. Managed to catch a great view of the bridge rotating in the morning while the boat passed. A decent Japanese inn with warm service and a good location. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the food quality is just average. They belong to a hotel group, so if these aspects are a concern for you, you might prefer Monjuso right next door.
