An old, cozy ryokan, perfectly located for visiting the spit and the village of Ine. I was lucky enough to also catch a concert at the hotel bar. A wonderful stay.

This stay was truly delightful! The inn is filled with a Japanese retro style, from the wooden furniture to the soft lighting, creating a strong sense of nostalgia. The environment was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, making the overall experience relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates tranquility and a Japanese aesthetic.

The owners are very welcoming. The restaurant next door often hosts live performances, making it feel like a small live music venue. They even have a YouTube channel documenting their live shows. The restaurant closes when there's a live performance, but there's a supermarket nearby, so you don't have to worry about not having food. It's also less than a minute's walk from the ferry terminal, making it very convenient.

It is very old, the owner is quite friendly, but the facilities are relatively old;
If you want to experience the traditional Japanese old house in TV movies, you can give it a try.

Great old inn 100 years old. Old Japanese charm. I had a room with great space and lighting. There was a us/bath which was fantastic and the owners were very nice, hospitable people. The location is close to a bus stop to Ine, a large supermarket and the cable car to the park.

The location of Sakamotoya is simply amazing. Just turn left from the cruise ship terminal at Amanohashidate Station. Across the road is the bus stop to Ine, and there is also a cable car 🚡 to go up the mountain for sightseeing. Bought a two-day pass to completely save the cost of travel. After arriving, we stored our luggage by ourselves and then went to Ine. Checked in after 3 o'clock, the owner had already prepared tatami in the room on the second floor. The room was spacious for 4 people. The first floor is the public area. The toilet is at the end of the second floor. The bathroom is very Japanese with a hot tub and the water temperature is very warm. In short, I am satisfied.

Parking is available at the entrance of the hotel, which has a friendly and nostalgic feel. Although there are some signs of time, it is still hygienic and clean. There is an authentic supermarket next to the hotel with low prices.
