Where to stay in Chatan

Stayed a night with families. 10mins walking distance to America village. Clean and nice stay with washing machine and dryer equipped.

There weren't enough parking spaces downstairs at the hotel, so I had to park in the second parking lot. Luckily, the second parking lot wasn't far away, and I would definitely come back again if I had the chance.

If you’re thinking about staying at the hostel in La'gent Hotel Okinawa Chatan—this is your sign. It’s one of those places that’s affordable but doesn’t feel cheap. Clean facilities, cozy beds, good location, and a calm atmosphere that makes solo travel feel easy. No regrets at all—actually one of my favorite stays this trip.

The front desk staff were super friendly and patient, and the room was really clean. There's a dry cleaning machine available, and you need a key card for everything in the shower area, which keeps it safe and tidy. Great choice for solo travelers!

Solo trip but the staff and the public place is super nice highly recommended ppl here and u can also get a free ice cream each day

Perfect hostel for solo travellers. It gets the job done and its near the airport which makes it very convenient. Amenities are very good too

First time trying out a bunker bed just for experience. I was very surprised indeed. So spacious clean and have all the basic that we need. Of course less toothpaste and luckily i brought my own. Highly recommended hotel. Near to sunset beach and American village.

Stayed for 2 days. Overall, everything was good. It's beautiful, close to the beach and the American village. I found people to socialize with. However, sleeping was a bit difficult as some people snored so loudly it was hard to fall asleep.

Reasonable price for solo trip and just get a place to take some rest

It's conveniently located near American Village, but unfortunately, there aren't enough lockable lockers for personal belongings. Parking is limited, so you'll have to find a double-parking spot nearby.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bright atmosphere was fun. 🚲 The beach, cafes, and taco spots are all nearby, so you can enjoy it.

This young guy who is the caretaker at this hostel does a great job. He's in the hostel pretty much everytime I'm there, always ready to help. The hostel is very clean and well maintained, and the location is superb also. There are a few local food spots, seemingly people's houses that they turned the first floor of into a mini food stand. All of them are great. There is also a mini-mall with groceries...

Great little hostel about 20 min walk to heart of American village. Bug supermarket opposite too.

Apart from the very limited parking spots, everything was comfortable and clean! Worth the stay here! Owner was quite friendly and accommodating to English speaking guests.

Cosy little place with only 2 dorms I think, about 20 mins to the beach/ American village area , supermarket is directly opposite, beds are decent but it’s very clean and you get a towel which is a great bonus in a hostel, small kitchen you can use too which is handy, the curtains in the shower are kind of see through tho but very minor detail

I like this place! The location is pretty good quiet, and they even have bicycles for rent. The bed is quite big, and the owner is friendly and kind. I think next time I might stay here again because everything is great and clean
