There is a beach near the Sheraton, perfect for young kids, very safe, and great burger place next to it. We also enjoyed at the restaurant Pine Terrace the great buffet selection for breakfast and dinner
Again, perfect for a family vacation, and we will definitely go there again. Miyazaki city and prefecture have great local food for reasonable prices, and this area is full of old Japan history
Sheraton never fails to surprise us with every stays (different sheratons from around the globe). The services offered were good and staffs were friendly and professional
100% ocean view. Pay 1000 yen once enjoy seawater hot spring till check-out date. Breakfast (international buffet) is neat. Free shuttle to near attractions.
Good value. Miyazaki may be underrated as a get away destination and the Sheraton is one of the great tourism assets on offer.
Wonderful hotel with great facilities, very friendly staff. We stayed there for a week for our family summer vacation

The hotel cleanliness is spotless, the facilities are above average in Japan (such as the onsen), the breakfast is healthy and delicious and the staff is extremely helpful
Located near many shops and restaurants but it was probably off peak season so the town seemed quite dead. Hotel is quite new and designed differently from other Dormy Inns- more modern. Parking garage is just beside
Surprising good Hotel for an "Inn". Although it's self service check in but their staff stood by me all the way to make sure I had no questions.
Breakfast was good but the variety was somewhat limited compared to other Dormy Inns I've been to
A little pricey but you get way more than the average hotel offers. Would stay again.
I had a pleasant time in Miyazaki and the hotel made feel like at home

This time I came to Miyazaki to play golf with an old work colleague. There was a large public bath and sauna, so it was great for relieving fatigue.
The parking lot is mostly flat, and the downtown area is close by on foot, and the price is cheap. It's not very big, but there was a men's bathhouse below, and the sauna was crowded
I felt that the location was great as I could walk to the downtown area and Miyazaki Station. It was cheap but the room was clean. It was my first time in Miyazaki and I'm glad I chose it.
I usually use Marix Lagoon, but Marix is ​​also the best 🙌 The hot springs were great and the breakfast was also very satisfying. I will definitely use them again when I stay in Miyazaki in the future.
Previously, my room was very far from the elevator, which was a problem, but this time I was grateful that I was in the second room from the elevator
I stayed here for business. It was nice to have a large, comfortable bath. However, both the room and the bath are historically old.

I'm a big fan of the bath inside the hotel. Free for guests and 550 yen for visitors (parking included). They give you two rental towels. There's an outside bath and sauna as well
Above all, the open-air bath and the artificial hot spring were good! The bathhouse was beautiful 😃 Breakfast was also delicious 😃 I was more satisfied than I expected 😃
The staff was great! The room was clean and a little small, but it was nice to have an air purifier
Not as big as the other bath in town, but the layout of the rooms make it feel more relaxed

The ambience is nice, a far drive to reach the hotel. We had the buffet dinner, authentic Japanese food and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. The hotel room is clean, and the hotel staff is friendly and polite
It's about 20-30min drive into Miyazaki town but thats not the main reason why you'd choose this Hotel. It's right by the Sea with so much activities that it's one of the places we wished we stayed an extra day
The Hotel is massive and due to the design, it looks like each room will have a good-excellent sea view. Come in the Summer and enjoy the activities and the surrounding areas
We booked a Japanese room and it is quite small. The staff helped to lay the futons and your beds are set up for you quickly in the evening in less than 5 minutes
The room however is a bit small and very limited space left after the beds are set up. The breakfast spread was quite good with Jap and western choices
Location wise, it is about a km from aoshima and a nice stroll along the coast. It also offer wave boarding at about usd100

Within walking distance of 10min you can find almost everything from shopping to izakaya. The best part I like is the sauna and hot spring. It has outdoor and indoor hot spring baths and sauna
The service of this hotel is very good as they provide free drinks in the lobby and free rock sauna for women. The staffs are very polite and friendly. The buffet breakfast is good too
this hotel service is awesome but the room is a little small but love this hotel because near have the famous Miyazaki beef shop and seafood and Japanese restaurants are very satisfied for your balley and mind 😋

Miyazaki is a small city so getting around is not difficult if you stay in this hotel. There is a few local buses to the hotel from the JR Miyazaki station
Very basic hotel, very tidy room. No space for the luggage. Twin room have 2x double bed which is much bigger, can place the luggage on the other bed.

Although it is cheap, it is the best because you can relax firmly in the hot spring and sauna! Because it is close to the dining area, you can sleep right after drinking! This is always recommended for business trips.
The auto-lock key type (not card type), but the room was not bad. However, there was a hot spring with a sauna on the first floor (for 4 washrooms).

I don't understand what the others were saying about the basement onsen being musky and mouldy, because it looked and felt really clean and comfortable, I think it must have been recently renovated, from how new and clean it looked! The rooftop onsen was as good as the reviews say they are :) The hotel is located in Aoshima, which is located in between the city area and the southern towns of Miyazaki...
I was personally a little creeped out by the (harmless and common) bloodworm larvae in the private onsen, but it didn't take away much from the amazing experience of soaking in the onsen with the view of the Pacific ocean and Aoshima Island (also you can set the temperature of the Onsen to your liking by mixing the hot and cold spring water) The service in the hotel is good! The staff are helpful...
There are many food options nearby, but as mentioned, only a few will be open past 8pm! Overall, the private onsen room is a great experience for the cost, and if I have a chance, I'd book the same room again!
I got the private onsen Japanese style room. It was the most pricey option, and was a little dusty, but it had an amazing view and was spacious
