Considering the price, the service is very good. I had a great trip thanks to it. It's also convenient that Joyfull is on the first floor for breakfast.

The price was reasonable and the facilities were clean and satisfactory!

The bathtub was rough and disgusting

It was nice that there were many restaurants nearby. I also liked that you had to take off your shoes near the entrance to the room.

Convenient location with Joyfull on the first floor

The staff were great, they slid me a room even though I had left my passport behind. Did laundry, ate dinner at the supermarket across the way, slept well, ate a decent breakfast (included) and rode off into the morning. It's inexpensive so temper your expectations and you'll be OK.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Beppu Seifu

Large comfortable clean room. I loved the rooftop onsen. The breakfast and dinner were good, not 5*, but certainly you can find some nice food to fill you up. The only thing I really didn't like was there was no WiFi anywhere except the lobby, and there is nowhere comfortable to sit in there. WiFi is a basic requirement nowadays.

I liked the hotel. Very good selection for breakfast and dinner, convenient onsens, amenities of good quality and wide selection of shampoos, face cleansers, creams, etc. I liked infinity bath on the 7th floor, but due to the strong wind I could enjoy it for long time. However sunset and full moon were do beautiful and bath was comfortably hot. There are table tennis, billiard, massage chairs and...

Room with very good view. Very nice onsen, both indoor and rooftop.

Good value waterfront hotel. It's a bit dated and it could use a majority renovation, but it's fairly clean. Good service, and very good dinner and breakfast . The city view was not worth it. I would pay the extra and book the oceanview.

Room and onsen were good - clean, spacious, lovely view and not crowded. The food for breakfast and dinner average, not Wow type and same menu for our 2 night stay. A big mall nearby but close early 10am to 7pm. The hotel is popular with Japanese, ********* and Koreans but luckily the onsen though only one each indoor and outdoor, was not crowded so can go several time in a day and good amenities provided...

The ryokan style room is very spacious with beautiful sea view. We loved the indoor & outdoor onsen. Good spread at the buffet dinner and breakfast. A very relaxing stay! There is also a DONKI nearby the hotel.

Business Hotel Boston

This was my first time staying here to attend a New Year's party, and the room was thoroughly cleaned and there was very little air conditioning smell. However, the vents under the windows hadn't been cleaned and were full of dust...but on the other hand, it's actually rare to find a place that clean. I was happy that there were a lot of electrical outlets. However, the lobby smelled of cigarettes...

The hot water in the shower didn't come out at night. It was restored at 11:30 PM and was announced over the in-house announcement. I was woken up by the announcement and couldn't sleep after that. The room was clean.

It's basically a business hotel that only accommodates singles. It's located behind the large music hall, iichiko Grand Theatre, so I stayed here when my favourite artist was there for a live performance. It's close to the city centre and the entertainment district (Miyakomachi), so I think it's easily accessible. It appears the owner has changed, and I found my stay more comfortable than last time...

I stayed alone for work. The hotel itself was old, but not dirty. I was only there for the night, so I didn't have any complaints. It seems they don't serve breakfast. There may have been one at the front desk, but there was no hair dryer. There was no refrigerator, and the amenities were not very well-equipped.

Hotel Seawave Beppu

Went with a friend this time. They have free hot springs/baths, and it wasn't too crowded. The best part is it's super, super cheap and the location is very convenient, easily accessible whether you have a car or not.

The room was great, and the location was perfect. Compared to other hotels, it offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend staying here! Everyone should definitely choose this hotel; we had a very comfortable stay.

Great location, nice cute onsen. Might be slightly understaffed, so the check in counter helps although having to ring a staff to use that counter kinda negates some of that automatic-ness.

This hotel is conveniently situated opposite the Beppu Station. Free parking is provided beside the hotel. We booked semi-double bed room and was give a spacious triple room. Thanks!

The Seawave Hotel offers great value for money. The proximity to Beppu Station is a huge plus with free parking! We used self automated check in and out hence can’t really review service of the hotel; the room, while compact, was very clean and had everything we needed. A solid choice for a comfortable and convenient onsen stay in Beppu.

Good Inn Nishi Tsurusaki

There's a convenience store right in front of the hotel, which makes it convenient. The reception staff were very helpful. The Wi-Fi signal is a little weak. I'll definitely use it again when I come here.

There's a 24-hour hot spring nearby, a delicious izakaya, and the rooms are clean and cheap. I recommend it.

If you are looking for a place to stay for the night, affordable , nearby restaurant but only accept cash payment (Yen).

I think the hotel would get a higher rating if the toilets had at least a bidet. I'd even be willing to pay a bit more for that. It's close to the station and offers great value for money.

Nicely located hotel with free Onsen. The rooms are fairly old and mine was once a smoker friendly room, which explains the slight smell of cigarettes and the yellowish walls. It is great that the hotel is located directly in front of the main station, but be aware of outside noise. I still slept like a stone so for the price I can recommend it.

The staff were super helpful. I had lost my watch the day before and they called around the places that I had visited the day before to ask them for me. It's a little bit of an older hotel but if you're travelling solo and cheap I don't think you can complain about this price.

Good emplacement near the station, hotel OK relatively clean. Good point is the free parking. And you can enjoy a good breakfast and great onsen with the hotel just on the other side of the street

The location is very convenient, with a bus stop right across the street, and breakfast is included.

Superb location opposite the station, and kind friendly staff. The bathroom was rather dirty, which was really discomforting but overall I am happy with the convenience of the hotel.

It's very clean considering the price. When the person next to me started watching TV without earphones, it was really noisy and annoying. I wonder what I should do next time I see them...

It's located in front of Oita Station, so it's very convenient. Plus, there's a convenience store right outside the hotel's first-floor entrance. Soft drinks are available all you can drink. There's no staff at night, so that might be a bit worrying, but... When I stayed, everyone was quiet, so I was able to sleep soundly without earplugs. Good news for (young) men! You can watch XXX videos for free...

It's good that it's close to the station, has all-you-can-drink juice, and offers unlimited manga reading. ...But the biggest drawback is that you can't lock the door to your room. There is a safe in the room, and you can lock your valuables there, but it's frustrating when you think, "Hmm, I'd like to lock the door here 😓." I can understand this if you're thinking, "I can't find any other hotels close...

It should be called a hostel rather than a hotel. Clean, good design and the location are positive points. However, the service doesn't run well: I arrived at 2.15pm, nobody is at the reception desk even though I pushed the call button (like instructions) many times, so finally I could not leave my luggage here and have to wait until check-in time (17h00)!

It is very clean and the staff is very accomodating❣️😍 The location is near in any amenities and rides

Free welcome drinks.toilet and bathroom is common but clean.location is good,near to the train station,convenient store and restaurants .a bit expensive during busy seasons

I was able to leave my luggage there before check-in. It was close to the station, so it was easy to leave my luggage there and head out to Kannawa.

The rooms are large and spacious, and the location is on the outskirts near Beppu Station, but it is a hotel with good value for money.

The receptionist was also very nice and it was a great stay. ✨ It was close to the station and there was a supermarket just a short walk away, so I'm glad I chose this hotel. ☺️

The front desk clerk didn't speak English very well, but he was very enthusiastic and dedicated. Thumbs up. Not only did he help to store the luggage for free before check-in, he also took the initiative to deliver it to the room before check-in. The facilities are indeed a bit old, like the feeling of a hotel in China in the 1990s. The location is very good, just next to the JR station, less than...

You can book/use both indoor and outdoor private onsen which is really nice! and the staff are nice and helpful. Also the area this Ryokan is located in the city is very convenient and nice! And is very close to the seven hells of Beppu.

Hyotan Onsen is very close by, but after 9 PM, there's hardly anyone on the streets, and it's quite dark, which felt a bit scary. Even the location is good but it difficult to go to and there is no sign of the ryokan at all. The room is very old and authentic which it almost 200 yrs. But request ice will cost 500 yen which should be free servicea.

This guesthouse is full of travel charm. You can reserve the bathtub for private use, and the meals are enough for 2 to 3 people, with sashimi, tempura, steamed dishes, and Western food—so much food you'll be spoiled for choice. Guesthouse Danran

The room was large, affordable, and Japanese-style. For each day I stayed, I received a voucher for a specific nearby onsen. It was really good.

First time experiencing a self-check-in hotel. Finding the hotel was easy and just a short walk from the train station.

The price is not too expensive because it is a holiday stay. There is a kitchen for convenient use, but the bathroom must be shared. The transportation is convenient. If there is an opportunity, I will stay again.

It was a homey Japanese guest house. The front desk left very early though and we ended up having to help lots of people check in, it felt almost like we worked there.

Owner is realy nice and changed my staying nights even if he did not had to.
