Wonderful station near restaurants and only a short walk away from highway bus to Fukuoka airport and Oita train station. Wonderful coffee machine at lobby. Thank you!
Tje hotel is morden style, good location, close to JR station & lot of restaurants around. hygiene is above average.
Comfortable hotel, amazing breakfast and great location
The hotel is near the train station but the room is old which doesn't looks like the picture provide
I didn't have high expectations because the price was reasonable, but it was a very nice hotel. The staff were very kind.
Fast check-in, complement wine and enjoyable stay overall.

Kamenoi Hotel Beppu, Beppu1 / 30
8.6
Beppu, 5-17 Chuo (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Clean room and convenient location, convenience store right opposite of the hotel. The room is spacious as well. We were lucky to have a room that can see the fireworks from our hotel room window. It was a nice stay.
Everything was very good, except the temperature in the room, because it’s super warm in winter, and it can’t be controlled in the room. Hotspring was very nice!
Kim at the front desk was very nice and helped us with changing to non smoking room without much hassle. Deserve 5 stars
The twin room was 26 square meters, clean and tidy. I stayed on the 16th floor, where I could see Beppu Bay to the left and trains arriving and departing from the station to the right. Both breakfast and dinner were substantial, and a special highlight was being able to try the local specialty, 'Jigoku Mushi' (hell-steamed dishes), cooked with 98-degree hot water directly from the onsen.
Hotel has nice hot spring. Single room typical Japanese style but a bit narrow to accommodate 24” luggage with both sides fully open. Buffet has good spread, but the meat stew serving was limited, after 8am there’s no more meat in the stew, left with the carrots, lotus roots etc. should refill as the buffet ends 930am. Like the hot noodles.
The location is decent, about a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The room didn't have much of a view and you could hear the train. The onsen and breakfast areas were very crowded. This Kamenoi wasn't as good as the one we stayed at previously in Toba. The hot springs in Beppu are definitely worth visiting!

Pricing on a weekday wasn’t that bad for a business hotel near the station. Their receptionists were kind and accommodating. Our room was small but tidy enough to feel relaxed throughout the night. Not so great things: their television and antenna were troublesome, the carpeted flooring was soiled, the aircon’s remote control looked like a fragile remnant from the ‘90s 😅
I like it. But they should have two elevator. Very incovenience.
Conveniently located 3 mins walk away from the JR station. Rooms were clean and pretty cheap as well. There's a 7-11 on the ground floor of the building and a lot of restaurants nearby
Decent okay hotel... Smelly and cramped. However, location is excellent and at the end of the day... Value for money
The room is too small but considering the location and price, it is quite reasonable. The room and a bathroom is clean. The best thing of this hotel is obviously, a location. Just in front of Oiata station, so you can easily go anywhere, also the airport.
I have very good history and a happy moment in Green Rich. They are very friendly.

Very cheap due to the off season, clean and has enough to have a good sleep and rest
Great hotel. Room is big as compared with others. Clean too! Around 10 mins walk from oita station. Love the surrounding areas. It's an arts heritage place. There is a Aaf just behind the hotel! A Lawson is just downstairs! Some eateries near the place. I use this as a base to visit yufuin and Beppu! Will love to stay here again when I visit Oita.
Daily amenities available at lobby. Room is spacious and comes with massage chair and air purifier👍 parking for guest is 800yen. 15-20mins walk to Donki store and there is a Lawson convenient store downstairs. All is good.
Room were ok clean and not that small. Convenient Stores are next door, breakfast were good. No smoking area and it needs to be a few hundred metres walk to was a bit frustate for those who need. If room needed to be cleaned, you need to put the sign in front of your door. Clean and change towel isn't default - they mentioned this as norm in japan but other seems not to be. I arrived the hotel a little...
I stayed for 2 nights in early Jan 2025. The hotel was conveniently located at about 15 minutes walk from Oita station, and close to many shops, F&B outlets and also the castle ruins attraction. On the ground floor, there is also a cafe/eatery with pleasant staff that served simple yet delightful breakfast, as well as a Lawson convenience shop. The room was typical Japanese room, clean and decent...

The location is just 5 mins walk away on the right (in the direction of APA hotel) after exiting from the main Oita JR station. Great! The reception staff are friendly. Amenities like toothbrush, face wash, night milk, face moisture, etc are readily available at the lobby. The morning Jap breakfast is good with enough choice for a rather good meal. The hotel is clean and comfortable for the price....
Staffs are very accommodating and the area is near to both Oita station and shopping area. Very nice to stay 😁
Excellent Toyoko Inn Hotel. Very clean and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful staff at the check-in and the breakfast. Great view from higher floors.
Recommendable! Very friendly staff, quiet neighbourhood, breakfast with local specialties.
Good hotel. If you have opportunity again, I would like to use this hotel.

Very convenient access to food, bar and 7-11. There are no control for air conditioning, even thought is early spring, but still very hot in the room. Can be improve.
Parking Staff trying to recommend a parking lot and force me to parked at that lot but I seem so far from hotel. Air conditioner can’t set to cooling it’s only work as heater. I’m not satisfied
Extra fee for car parking, near to train station, convenience store and restaurant.convenient location but requires extra fee for car parking.free welcome drinks.
a 12 mins walk needed from hotel to train station, which is managable. Room tiny, not advisable to have too much luggage. Though small, surprising it still have needed amenities like many other established hotel. Overall, it's a good for short stay, acceptable especially when the price is good
Very delicious breakfast at a great price. A free welcome drink is provided in the lobby, though there are limited options suitable for kids. The staff were very kind and helpful. The parking lot for larger vehicles is a bit far from the hotel.
Everything was ok or great, nothing to complain. Location is great.

Oita, 1-2-1, Suehiromachi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This is my second time staying at the hotel. Because the location is super convenient. Very near to Oita Station. Same as other Dormy Inn, there is free noodles at night. I didn't have chance to try their noodles. Because there are so many good foods at Oita / Beppu.
The location is fantastic, right next to the JR station and the bus terminal. I've stayed at this hotel chain before in Hokkaido, and they consistently offer complimentary late-night noodles from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The hotel also has its own hot spring on the top floor and even provides various flavored ice creams, which the kids absolutely loved. The room was quite spacious with a great wet/dry...
Conveniently located about 100 meters from Oita Station exit, making it quick and easy to get to. The hotel, as always, was very comfortable and the hot springs were fantastic. However, the breakfast seemed not as good as other Dormy Inn locations. Overall, still recommended.
I've stayed at Dormy Inn in many places across Japan, and this one in Oita felt just like home. The natural hot spring is their signature feature, and soaking in the outdoor onsen on the top floor with the autumn breeze at night just washes away all the fatigue from a day of travel. They also offer free ramen and popsicles in the evening. Their breakfast is pretty good too, with local specialties from...
This hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Oita Station, to the left after exiting. It's also very close to Beppu. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, and the bedding is comfortable. The women's public bath has both indoor and outdoor pools. The complimentary ramen and ice cream in the evening are a thoughtful touch, and there's also water and snacks in the fridge
room was big and hotel room is clean. will definitely visit again if I ever come to fukuoka

I have been here several times because they have an amazing spa/Onsen! Location is very central and super clean
A lovely relaxing hotel right on the Beppu beach road. There was a definite air of old seaside town about the place and it was very chill - the onsen in the hotel itself was very nice and wasn't at all busy when we were there. The breakfast however did get quite crowded with tour groups so going down later worked the best for us - if you had to go in peak time there was often a queue. The room...
The room's window opens to an unobstructed view of the blue sky, and the hotel's hot spring is very comfortable. The space isn't large but it's cozy, very clean, and quiet.
Excellent value for money, convenient for transportation and shopping, and the hotel facilities and surroundings were all great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beppu. I hope more Chinese-speaking tourists choose this hotel.
The room was quite clean, and it even had a hot spring. The surrounding area is very convenient with plenty of food options. It's right next to the Oita TV Tower and not far from the JR station. The yakiniku (grilled meat) and tempura places nearby were absolutely delicious.
The hotel is right next to Beppu Tower, and Beppu Station is also very close. It looks really nice at night. There are two supermarkets nearby, which is convenient for buying food, and it's also easy to get to several hot springs. I'm writing this review a long time after my stay, so I've forgotten if there was a hot spring in the hotel itself.

Great position right in downtown Oita, very nice hotel with comfortable rooms, chilly public baths and helpful staff. Recommended!
Hotel location is good. Lobby is small. Bed was also small but enough.
Great location, the hotel is directly in front of a shopping street and next to the hotel was a place with many restaurants. The car park is convinient, you need to pay a small sum for a parking spot managed by the hotel. The staff here are friendly and nice.
This was a nice hotel in a very good location. There are lots of restaurants and places to drink nearby. The hotel itself was very clean but it didn't have an internal smoking area, although there were plenty of smoking areas outside the hotel. The room was a small one but there are very comfortable beds.
good service good facilities good location good breakfast
The hot spring was spacious and I was able to relax. The parking lot is mechanical, so it takes time, but it was helpful that they were able to accommodate me even in the early morning. I will definitely use it again!

Very nice and good hot springs
Located on the west side of Miyakoji, a bustling downtown area, it's perfect for business dinners. While the accommodations are undeniably a bit dated, having access to a large public bath with a sauna was a definite plus.
There are many foreign staff members, but we didn't have any particular problems dealing with them. There is a height limit in the multi-story parking garage, so the type of car you can use may be limited. If you have a small, maneuverable car, you may not be able to fit it in because cars these days are so tall. It takes time to get your car out of the garage in the morning, so we recommend going...
It was great that the sauna was open from the morning. The dango soup for breakfast was also delicious.
The hot springs were very relaxing, and the breakfast selection was quite diverse! However, parking was a problem.
Not near to any popular spot. Average room size given it is Japan where we sat at the dinning area for the BIG space. Best of the deal is free car parking, and the Onsen is big and the water feel smooth, and come with a free massage chair. The breakfast has variety for any travellers. English is doable and explain in details by Gaikokujinrōdōsha

The hotel is old but well-maintained. The only downside is that there is only one elevator, so it takes a long time to get down.
It was relatively close to the station and easy to get to. The room was well-cleaned and it was nice and quiet. The breakfast had a good variety of items and was enough for a normal meal. The price was reasonable, so I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.
It's close to the station and has many restaurants, making it a convenient place to stay.

Although it is a hotel that has not been renovated for many years, it is very clean and you can't tell that it has not been renovated for a long time. The room is very clean, but the facilities are a little old and have a sense of age. The bed is very comfortable. The sound insulation is very good.

I went there for a motorcycle tour without making a reservation for a parking space, but the staff were polite and smiled, and the service was very pleasant. I will use the service again. Thank you very much.

This hotel has such a romantic, old-style charm. The bedroom was incredibly spacious—we even managed to have a family supper for 8 people comfortably inside! The onsen is also very nice and relaxing. A wonderful choice if you like a classic feel and plenty of room.
So nice,  quiet, clean room  and has a good service for the customers.
The food was good both in the evening and in the morning, but the bathroom, toilet and washbasin were all in one place and there was a step between the bathroom and the hallway, so there is room for improvement.
I don't like this hotel in Beppu. It's too old.
The neighborhood is quiet and suitable for a family of 4. Washing machine is free, but you need to buy detergent (it's good to prepare detergent) Rooms are spacious, but they are old. Open-air bath has a nice view Beppu Station shuttle is available for free, but the last stop is 5pm
I had a great time because of the clean interior and comfortable bathroom. The open-air bath was especially nice and it was a good place to stay. As for cleanliness, the foreign substances in the sink area were not cleaned well. Other than that, it was a really clean place to stay.

I stayed here because I had to go to the ferry terminal early in the morning. It was very convenient, with Toyoken (a famous chicken tempura restaurant) nearby and a supermarket within walking distance. The bath is indoors, but it was very clean and nice. I was able to watch YouTube on the TV in the room.
The breakfast selection was quite good. The only downside was that the hotel parking lot was across the street. It just so happened that it was raining heavily the day I arrived. The room was spacious and the view from the window was beautiful. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.
The lady at the front desk was very kind and said she would like to stay again with her children. They were very kind, thank you very much. It was a fun trip.
I stayed in a smoking room. I'm a smoker so it was good because there are only non-smoking rooms available these days. The breakfast was also delicious and I ate too much. The hotel staff were always smiling and helpful so I was very satisfied.
Triple room for a family of four. The hot spring is only an indoor bath, but it's great value for money. I recommend not ordering breakfast, but looking for a place that serves breakfast instead!
The hotel is a bit old, but the staff is friendly and the accommodation is clean. Above all, the parking lot is large and parking is free, making it a great place to travel by rental car.

The hotel is very close to the station, a 5-minute walk The hotel is a hot spring bath, so there are three types: large bath, parent-child bath and open-air bath. The hotel room is about the same size as in Japan, but has basic facilities. The hotel also operates an izakaya There is a large supermarket within a 3-minute walk of the hotel. There are also chain fast food restaurants
The front desk service is very polite and patient. You can make reservations for private outdoor hot springs and indoor hot springs. Each reservation is 1 hour. You can also go to the large bath to soak in the hot springs. There is parking space for free.

We left our trash and dirty towel outside, they don’t replace with new trash bag or put new towels in bag n hang outside door. So hv to collect from reception personally
When I booked, it only showed the room, not that it was in an annex building. We ended up being placed in the building next door, which had much simpler facilities and was significantly smaller. I'm not sure what the reasoning was. To take a bath, I had to carry a basket out and go to the main building. The slippers provided were also very slippery. The hotel room is a little small and bed is soft but overall still quite good for location and front desk service.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, and dragging luggage was a bit tough. A taxi costs around 850 yen. However, transportation in Miyazaki is quite inconvenient; you need to book a taxi in advance to get back to the station from the hotel, as it's hard to hail one from the street. Other than that, everything else was good, and breakfast was included.
Absolutely love the roof top pool and onsen at the next building. Love the view. Will stay again because of it. Near to station as well.
This hotel offers incredible value for money – it's so good, I almost want to keep it a secret! However, I've seen a negative review claiming someone couldn't get back into the hotel at night, and I want to clarify that. That person's review is completely baseless. Go to Beppu Station's west exit, on the left, at Station 3. Take Line 1 bus 🚌 to the last stop, Kannawa. It's a two-minute walk to Sansuikan. It's so convenient. From Sansuikan, walk left for about eight minutes to Umijigoku 😊. Umijigoku isn't big, but it has a foot bath where you can soak your feet. An hour's worth of exploration is enough. Beppu is a rural area, so don't expect great restaurants...
The rooms are very clean and a must-see for a stay with two meals. Right next to the hotel are White Pond Hell and Sea Hell, a 15-minute walk away. Blood Pond Hell and Tornado Hell are also easily accessible via bus number 16, which takes 15 minutes.
