Fav Hotel Takamatsu in Takamatsu

This hotel might be considered good by local standards, but my experience wasn't great. The main issue was the hygiene; the bedding had an odd smell that clung to me.

The hotel boasts a convenient location, near Watamachi Station, approximately a 5-minute walk away.

Buses to and from the airport are available, taking about an hour.

The shopping street is a 10-minute walk away with numerous restaurants.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and fully equipped, featuring a washing machine, dryer, cooking utensils, microwave, etc.

The location is good for staying in the city. I used a rental car and only had to pay 1,100 yen per day for parking. There was no inconvenience and I rarely encountered it, but the staff was friendly. My whole family liked it and I will visit again if I have the chance. It is not a hotel where you can experience various hotel facilities or fancy services.

The room is comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette and washing machine, suitable for family travel. And you can reserve a parking space for 1100 yen a day.

The facilities and location are good, but it is not a standard full-service hotel. It is a bit between a B&B and a hotel. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette. If you want to cook something yourself, you can, but there is no service. There is only one service staff at the front desk downstairs, and he is not there 24 hours a day. He has a certain working hours. Outside of that working hours, there is no one downstairs, and you basically have to do everything yourself. We don't have a phone number in Japan, so calling a taxi is a bit tricky. They are friendly here, unlike regular hotels: helping customers call a taxi is their job. If you meet a staff member, you can ask him to help call a taxi, but if you meet him, there is nothing you can do.

It is a little closer to go shopping in the city center from here, but it is not within walking distance. If you come with a family or a large number of people, it will be advantageous to live here. Three or four people can live in one room and the space is slightly larger.
However, if I come next time, I will still choose to stay in another full-service hotel. The service is still complete in all aspects, much more comfortable, and convenient to the airport

I am very satisfied. I was arranged on the top floor and was not disturbed by anyone. There are washing machines and induction cookers, which are fully equipped. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the subway. The hotel is surrounded by residential areas and is very quiet. The room is clean. If I have to say something unsatisfactory, it is that the sofa is too soft. Compared with other facilities in the room, the sofa looks a bit cheap. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a simple coffee shop at the entrance of the hotel. You can make an omelet for breakfast and the coffee is very fragrant.

The photo when booking gave me the impression that I could actually stay for that price, but when I used it, it was good that I could stay for that price.
