Hotels in Tokushima

Older style but everything is well maintained just like most Japan hotel. Nothing to complaint about, just sleep over for us. But I imagine it’s very convenient as it’s at the JR station, we drove so it makes no difference but nearby parking isn’t as expensive as JR station in more developed city. Food option is plentiful nearby though so that’s great for late night supper.

The hotel is incredibly convenient for getting to and from Tokushima Station. The only downside is that there aren't many shops nearby for browsing, but finding places to eat is easy. The room was spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities, I just couldn't find a shoehorn.

Great location next to the station. I had a twin room which had plenty of space, and a nice view. Comfortable beds and a large bathroom. No complaints

Free parking, big mall nearby, can buy many souvenirs and comestic products, high floor can see the whole city view, very nice, but small room

Hotel is very old but good location. It seems that they decreased some ametinities in room as I could see some rack without item. Staffs are quite professional. Lobby is beautiful.

The public bath is quite good. However, the staff at the entrance are quite picky. The large lounge on the 11th floor has limited usability. The breakfast is quite good.

As nice a hotel as anyone would want to stay in while visiting Tokushima on the island of Shikoku. Terrific service, clean facilities and room, an amazing bonus free onsen (hot springs), a very well equipped gym which is a bit rare in Japan and the property is located right in the middle of town next to the central train and bus stations. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood...

Booked this last minute due to closure of Naruto bridge due to severe weather. Booking and checking in was a breeze. Room is a little small but for the price we paid it is reasonable There’s also water dispensing station on some levels and microwave on the level we stayed. Good for if you buy discounted supermarket bentos

I was here for a luncheon meeting. Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I've been back for the buffet at Myrica. I had a seat facing the yacht harbor and river. Quite pleasant.

The staff was very polite. The hotel was crowded with guests, so the wait time for the elevator was long. Especially at breakfast time, I sometimes missed the elevator. But that's the same in any business hotel, so I guess it can't be helped. I'd like to stay here again if I have the chance.

The indoor lights were on the walls, but it would be easier to see if they were on the ceiling.

10 minutes from the station and about 20 minutes on foot from Akitacho. The interior is clean and has a texture. The unit bath tub is small and showers are difficult to take. Breakfast is a general buffet and there are no special ingredients for Tokushima. Overall is satisfactory.

It is convenient near the station. The rooms are large and above all things like a modern business hotel it's better not to have electricity on the keys. There is no loss of power when going out for a meal or a little. It is a really nice hotel.

Hotel which there is correspondence of the front desk and cleanliness of room and wants to use repeatedly. The Tokushima City Library, which has recently been renewed, is in the same building. It feels that the hotel breakfast costs 1400 yen is not commensurate with the room cost.

We’re a family travelling with 3 kids so we booked 2 corner rooms for the needed space. 1) We were given 2 corner rooms at opposite ends of the floor, so we had to walk up & down & up & down the corridor to pass stuff to one another, so that was a bit inconvenient. The hotel refused at first to give us a 2nd key card saying that only 1 is allowed. 2) The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy but...

I love Daiwa hotels. This hotel was in the very best location with clean room with unit bath!!! Yes Unit bath! Amenity was good and love the bath salts that was given. laundry machine was in good condition as well.

The bed is incredibly comfortable; I didn't expect such a high-quality mattress. The hotel also offers many amenities, and the staff are very nice.

Location was superb , just next to the Tokushima station and clement plaza with plenty of choices for food . Will stay here again if I visit Tokushima

It was a little far from the station, but it was nice to be able to walk there along the illuminated Shinmachi River. I thought there would be coffee and tea bags in the room, but I was shocked that there weren't. There was barley tea on the second floor, but it was a bit difficult to carry the other amenities and paper cups up to the room. I've had similarly good value hotels in the past, so... Also...

Breakfast was a choice between Japanese and Western food. I was hoping for a buffet, but unfortunately it was not. The breakfast was served from 7:00, but I had to leave after 7:00, so I wanted to cancel the breakfast, but I was disappointed that it was not possible.

It's a little far from the station, but that made it cheaper, even on the weekend. There was also a large public bath. For food, there were hamburgers and sushi restaurants across the street and next door, and cup noodles and small snacks were available at the hotel shop.

It was an 8 minute walk from Tokushima Station, and was in a great location with a great view of Tokushima city. The biggest advantage was that the parking lot was free. I would also like to stay there if I ever go to Tokushima.

As a hotel with a large parking lot, there are no particular comments. Breakfast was delicious, but dinner was only reserved and I was in trouble because there was no suitable place near the hotel. Sushiro was sometimes in the immediate vicinity.

The hotel room was more spacious than average. Even when the air conditioning broke, the front desk immediately brought a fan, which was very thoughtful of the staff! Parking was also very convenient, and the staff gave clear instructions. Pretty good overall.

It's too far to walk from Tokushima Station, but it takes 10 minutes by bus. However, the bus doesn't run until after 9 o'clock, so it's a bit difficult to stay out late at night. I like everything except the location. The room is clean and spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. The area is quiet, so it's good for getting some rest.

The facilities are a bit dated, showing how prosperous Japan once was. Compared to newer hotels in my home country today, it can't quite compete, but everything is functional, and most importantly, it's very clean. The hotel location is convenient, and a walk along the river is peaceful and relaxing.

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was excellent, and it was convenient for getting around. The service was especially good. It was a very satisfying experience.

The staff is nice, but there is not much parking space in the hotel.

The hotel facilities are okay, but overall it's quite old. The main problem is that the rooms have absolutely no air conditioning; they only provide fans. Don't stay there! The windows can't be opened.

The hotel is conveniently located near the JR station. It was surprisingly modern and tasteful, and the rooms were more spacious than those at similarly priced chain hotels. The staff were very friendly and polite. What impressed us even more was that when they cleaned our room while we were out, they even neatly folded the freshly washed clothes we had left spread on the bed. Highly recommended.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated, but impeccably clean. The room was spacious enough to fully open a 28-inch suitcase.

Despite the hotel opening in 1949 and its last major renovation being in 1988, the lobby and bathrooms clearly appear to have been recently updated and were spotless. The in-room facilities, however, definitely show their age. The air conditioning is controlled from the bedside table, with the temperature displayed in Fahrenheit. Nevertheless, the room was very clean overall.

A clerks greetings are very good and comfortable. Especially, employee who serve all u can eat breakfast had and made wonderful greetings , so I was moved by her smile. Provided dishes are also excellent. The room I stayed was for single, so it was rather smaller than as much space as other same capacity hotels. however, this is cozy place to stay 2 to 3 days.

Hotel member is kind to introduce parking space and room check-in. Location is good. But seems hotel is a little bit old so there is some strange smell in the room.

Location is very close to the City Centre, we used public transport and it is so nearby the bus station as well. Front Desk service is good and helpful, they are a bit old style still using the hotel door key instead, yet we found it okay too. The room size is very perfect with 18 square feet as described yet it is perfectly large and spacious. Room is clean and tidy with quiet environment.

It is close to the train station and airport bus stop. The facilities are old but clean, though it is a shame that the beds are hard.

The location is close to station with a plenty of food options. There is also a small shopping centre next to it. The room itself is a decent size, you can open luggages comfortably. Amenities such as toothbrush and pajamas are provided nearby the front desk. There is a microwave downstairs for guest use and some vending machines. The staff doesn't speak much English but they use a translator device...

A quality business-class hotel located in Tokushima near the Bizen Ropeway and the Bizan Tenjinsha Shinto Shrine, just a short ten minute walk from JR Tokushima Station. During my stay, I enjoyed a lovely view of Mount Bizen and a few blocks of Tokushima, close in to shopping and restaurant districts. The room was quiet and comfortable and as always offered the same alpha-One commitment to quality...

There's a long staircase leading to the entrance, with no elevator signs. Only after checking in did I realize the elevator is located in the parking lot, near the entrance. All necessary amenities are available. The power supply requires a unique method: you need to insert a key into a rectangular cylinder to access the power. Every time I return from an outing, I have to restart the air conditioner...

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station. There are many sightseeing spots around the hotel, including cruise ships and ropeways. The extremely popular Todai Ramen is just a 3-minute walk away, and I was also interested in Shinmachi Onsen, which is right in front of the hotel. Between the station and the hotel, there are plenty of cafes, cake shops, convenience stores, and more.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Tokushima Station. There are plenty of places to eat and have fun around the hotel, which made it even better. The hotel itself was spacious and pleasant for a business hotel. I'd love to stay here again!

The pillows smelled really bad! And the room smelled moldy! The owner is a very nice person!!

We stayed for a night.Our room was beside the housekeeping room. At around 4 am , the counter staff began to place bedsheets, pillow covers, bath robes on the designated chair along the corridor so as to enable the housekeeping staff to do the job of cleaning faster. Considering the price (3000JPY/night) good budget hotel. Security and room cleanness is poor. No keys needed to go up to guest room floor and elevator goes direct to room floor without pass in front of hotel desk. Bed and bath room are well cleaned, but dated. Room is a bit filthy. Under the bed or behind curtain is uncleaned.

Great place to stay for a night before starting my cycle! Breakfast provided and there is a safe place to park your bike! Has everything necessary for daily needs!

This hotel was exactly what I needed after a long day of cycling and a 2 hour ferry ride. Simple, straight to the point and a nice, traditional Japanese room to rest your head in. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed during the Awa Odori Festival. Free parking. Tokushima station is about 3 km away, but Aeon Mall is right next to it and the bus also runs, so there is no inconvenience. I stayed in this hotel a week ago. The service was excellent. The staff was very helpful. We arrived completely drenched by the rain and she provided us with towels to dry ourselves. There are free drinks and ice cream at the reception area for guests. There are so many different types of toiletries provided in the room, I feel that my skin has improved. The price is very reasonable for the service...

In addition to ice cream and drinks, there were even shampoos, face masks, and eyeglass wipes available next to the reception desk, all of which were reasonably priced! The service was excellent and I was very satisfied. This time, only the cheapest room was available, so I stayed there, but next time I would like to stay in a slightly higher-grade room.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious and clean, so I was very satisfied... but I was woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of cleaning in another room and couldn't sleep, so I was moved to another room that was even larger and more comfortable.
