A quality business-class hotel located in Tokushima near the Bizen Ropeway and the Bizan Tenjinsha Shinto Shrine, just a short ten minute walk from JR Tokushima Station. During my stay, I enjoyed a lovely view of Mount Bizen and a few blocks of Tokushima, close in to shopping and restaurant districts. The room was quiet and comfortable and as always offered the same alpha-One commitment to quality I have come to expect from stays at other locations. Recommended.

There's a long staircase leading to the entrance, with no elevator signs.
Only after checking in did I realize the elevator is located in the parking lot, near the entrance.
All necessary amenities are available.
The power supply requires a unique method: you need to insert a key into a rectangular cylinder to access the power.
Every time I return from an outing, I have to restart the air conditioner and wait for the smell to dissipate.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station. There are many sightseeing spots around the hotel, including cruise ships and ropeways. The extremely popular Todai Ramen is just a 3-minute walk away, and I was also interested in Shinmachi Onsen, which is right in front of the hotel. Between the station and the hotel, there are plenty of cafes, cake shops, convenience stores, and more.

We stayed overnight without the lights on.
Not even the air conditioning.
It's amazing that we didn't suffer from heatstroke in this heat.
My son was staying alone, so even though he was a child, he was considerate enough to tell us that the lights weren't on and that we couldn't use them, and we spent the night there.
Of course, it was wrong for us to stay without saying anything to the hotel, but there was no verbal explanation of how to use the room at check-in; apparently, the instructions were on a piece of paper given to us along with the key.
The guardian later confirmed with the hotel that no verbal explanation had been given.
Not only was he a child, but I was also shocked at the complete lack of consideration shown by the hotel staff, and no word of apology.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Tokushima Station. There are plenty of places to eat and have fun around the hotel, which made it even better. The hotel itself was spacious and pleasant for a business hotel. I'd love to stay here again!

The location is very good, very close to the station and the hall, and just around the corner from the pedestrian street. I didn't have time to try its breakfast this time, but I saw other people eating there in the morning and it should be very good.
