Friendly people. They hosted us last minute with an affordable private room and helped us in the morning with getting a taxi to the airport.

Very cozy hostel. Stuff is very helpful with any issue. They can help you organize some tours around Kyrgyzstan. Breakfast was also delicious. Next time in Bishkek I'll stay here as well.

Best place in cholpon ata, super good and friendly host Rudy and kyrgi owners girl was good too. Cheap stay just 6$. Nice kitchen, lounge area, decent warm beds despite the cold, excellent location near bus station (west and east) and easy to get to mountains, easy to lake, couldnt ask for more :))))

Location: centrally located in the heart of Cholpon Ata. There is a supermarket across the road. Room: The dorm rooms have 2 bunk beds with enough room to store your luggage. We stayed for 2 weeks in Cholpon Ata. Location is great, very close to the Issyk-Kul lake and we liked the fact that this is a very small hostel. There is a nice garden with a good place to hang out. Go to petroglyphs, sunrise, bazaar and historical museum!

Awesome, loved the location, central to everything. The staff was great, very helpful and can speak Russian and English fluently. Would definitely recommend to any groups travelling to Issyk-Kul on a budget.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious!

Very clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. It's not to far from the center, so if you are good on your feet you can walk there. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a really good stay.

Affordable, clean, comfortable, and safe hostel. There is a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food. The place is accessible for public transportation, the staff are friendly and recommend you places to visit. ✨✨

Everything was absolutely perfect, the hostel is very clean, the staff is very kind and helpful, the beds are comfortable and the location is very central.

Excellent. Breakfast is included. The hosts are friendly. The rooms are small, and the atmosphere is intimate and cozy.

It's a decent hostel. There's parking and a swing set. The kitchen is shared with the hosts, so if there are a lot of guests, there'll be a line. The shower pressure is weak. The host provides taxi service. There's a good teahouse nearby called Abror and an equally good supermarket called Frunze.

The rooms are cozy and the hostel owners are ready to help, and the presence of air conditioning is a good plus.

Nice place to stay (pun intended). Hosts are awesome and warm. Helpful with everything. Clean. Kitchen was big with 2 cooking areas and 2 fridges. We left our extra luggage there for our hikes and the host has a seperate locked storage room. Everything was awesome!

I had one of the best experiences possible at this hostel. Jannil and her husband are so attentive. They work hard but always take the time to look after guests and answer their questions. What's more, they know a great deal about the region. The rooms are very comfortable and you have all the privacy you need. I can't recommend it highly enough!

A cozy and accessible hostel for travelers, with shared rooms and a private room. A well-equipped shared kitchen where you can cook. Shared showers and toilets are clean, spacious and well-maintained. Laundry services and a hostel owner who speaks excellent English and patiently advises everyone.

Its the perfect place to stay in Karakol. The host Janyl is amazing, very friendly and helpful and she has all the knowledge to help you plan your hikes. The hostel is clean, a great size, good location, has a nice garden and kitchen, and there is a friendly environment amongst travellers. Our fave hostel in Kyrgyzstan.

It was the best hostel I stayed in during my month long trip to Kyrgyzstan. The dormitory was clean , airy and spacious with good bathroom and hot showers. It has a nice big backyard as well. Just a 15 minute walk from the centre.

We slept at nice hotel in September for a few nights the place is very comfortable and offers beds in a dorms as well as yurt and place for a tent the staff here is very helpful and nice, very cheap place that includes a kitchen in the price very recommended

Really great place to relax & unwind upon entering Kyrgyzstan from the Pamirs. Hot water, great food, washing machine and a stove in every room to keep warm at night. Run by a really nice family & english spoken.

Really enjoyed KBH. A great place to base yourself for hiking in the area and meet other backpackers doing the same. It’s very central so close to restaurants, shops and gear rental places. I had such a wonderful stay! I met the kind lady who ran the hostel and decided to move to this one and it was the best decision. Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever been! Everything works well here, the staff is awesome, really helpful and friendly, the building is new and everything is really clean, plenty of wc and showers, a big kitchen with a lot of place to sit and to relax, and a really peaceful and nice backyard, and all of these, for a really good price! I would definitely comeback! :)

Perfect place to stay if you want to meet people to go on trips with/gather information/book trips/etc. Lovely cafe attached which makes meals super easy. Only negative was that our water never got properly hot for a shower.

We stayed at Duet before and after doing the Ala Kul 3 days hike. Private room are well decorated and spacious, the restaurant and bar menu have plenty of choices and the coffee is great! The staff is really nice and can help you book yurts and guest houses for your hikes. They also have a lovely gift shop.

Lovely hostel for backpackers. The dorm beds are quite comfortable. Toilets and shower rooms are regularly cleaned. They have a restaurant which serves quite good food. The owners are lovely too.

Loved my time here! Room was clean and cleaned quite often during midday. Bed was comfortable. They have a restaurant too so that helps although food quality can be improved for the price. Quite a social-able hostel considering the big lounge and kitchen area. Can book horse riding here but do note is about 2k more expensive vs booking directly with operator. Service was helpful though.

Duet Hostel and Hotel is a good spot to meet other travelers and hikers. The dorm room is a big with no windows. Can get a bit cluttered with everyone's backpacks and gear. Thankfully there are privacy curtains. Some outdoor space though felt odd to be there since it’s also a café. The dorm area has a couch outside the room. And a good kitchen. Only food option is cafe. The is a 15+ minute walk...

Excellent service, great facilities, and reasonable prices. I felt like home during my whole stay. I stayed there for two weeks by myself and I honestly didn't wanna go away from there! The place is also beautiful and have a lot of space for children to play and run around. They have also every Sunday a cultural performance to get to know about Kyrgyz culture.

I was very lucky to be hostel Casablanca. Pleasant and helpful staff, if there is any problem will help you. The guest house was very clean, nice inside and out. Be in a quiet area. In general, thank you very much Casablanca hostel (Casa Blanca)

It's very cool here. Came on a business trip. After a bunch of meetings, I come back and rest) It's cool that they don't smoke here and there are no leftist movements. If you don't know which hostel to choose, I advise you.

Good place and price, only the mattress of bed were so thin , closely to be as thick carpet which was not comfortable

stayed for 2 weeks. The hostel is great as well as the service. And it's fairly clean. superb laundry service. Unfortunately the kitchen facilities were poor / broken at the time of staying. No oven, no stove just microwave. Therefore just 3 stars. But still can really recommend the place.

This is an apartment converted into a hostel. The first twin room is right at the entrance door, with windows facing the courtyard. It's usually quiet there, but any guest coming in or out will be heard. The city view is nice at night. Further down the hallway is the dorm room, to the right is the kitchen, toilet, bath, and next to it another twin room. Its windows face the road, the busy Chuy Avenue...

It's not really a hostel but a shared apartment. Some pluses and minuses. Pluses are it's quiet and well hidden, it's clean the location is central. Minuses are really hard to find, it's inside an anonymous housing block, there is no hostel atmosphere, there are no usual hostel perks like luggage storage, or a late check out if there is evening travel. I cant really recommend it for travellers, maybe...

Such a cute clean place, its really like a home away from home. The owner couldn't be more helpful. She even personally made sure I was awake and had a taxi booked to the airport on my last day. Everything you need including a washing machine, air con/heater and no problem sleeping. It a simple chevk in and check out and I'd choose to stay there any time I was in Bishkek.

Room and bathrooms are fairly clean stuffs are helpful all the time. You can definitely feel the Soviet era from this building. (That's why I choose this hostel :) )

We had a really nice time at this hostel, the staff is very kind and welcoming. It's clean and homely! In addition it's straight in the centre of Bishkek, which is very good. There's a kitchen and washing machine, and the staff can answer every question and arrange for transport. Worth a visit!

I visited here two years ago in July... The atmosphere in Cholpon-Ata is fantastic for anyone planning a vacation. I rented a room here, and everything was clean and tidy, including a shower. It was 450 som per night...

Simple, warm staff, good breakfast, good value for the money.
