Naryn, Kel-Suu Kyrgyzstan 🧭 Map
The family that operate this Yurt camp are really genuinely kind. The camp is well managed with a cosy cafeteria Yurt and coal heated stoves in each accommodation yurt. There is WiFi too, a shower and a hand-washing station with soap and water dispensers that they heat in the morning. The breakfast contained watermelon, apples, tea, coffee, sausage, porridge and eggs. It is also located closer to the...
The yurts were by far the nicest we saw — beautifully decorated and very cozy. They even lit the fireplace for us, so we slept perfectly. Dinner and breakfast could be improved, and the place is still under construction, but once it’s finished, I’m sure it will be the most comfortable and fully equipped spot in Kel Suu.
The yurts are new and beds are comfortable, good heating, wooden floors. We picked it because there were only five yurts there and we thought it would be more tranquil. However, when we were there, there were several SUVs driven by locals who parked their huge SUVs beside our yurts, turning on their engines till late at night… having parties into the evening…it wasn’t so tranquil anymore. Food is...
The Place has beautiful yurts with new wooden floor, nice beds. And fireplaces installed in the middle. The yurts are the most beautiful in the whole valley. The toilet is not impressive, neither is the food. And there is no WiFi. The neighboring yurt camp golden moon has WiFi and a large indoor eating area, but not as nice yurts as this camp. The service was ok, power from 20-22h to charge most devices...
not only they provided an excellent experience, they also went far and beyond to help us out with a problem we were facing, plus the human warmth they treated us with

Lovely location and the Yurts are very cosy, albeit a bity warm after they light the stove! Great food and nice staff. The showers can be erratic, so make sure you have one when the sun is shining as there is no pressure or hear after the sun sets! Water went off briefly when there which was not ideal but was fixed.
Sleeping in this yurt camp was a wonderful experience. The camp is located about ten minutes drive from Issik Kul Lake. The yurts are clean, sheets and duvet as well. A special mention to the kindness of the waitresses in the yurt restaurant. Also delicious food... you eat sitting on the carpets, cross-legged under the table. Don't miss this experience, appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the...
What a fantastic experience to sleep over in a yurt. The camp is well laid out and has all amenities. Before we tucked in for the night, a couple of locals stoked the internal stove with hot coals. The communal dining room was interesting and there are no chairs so you have to sit with crossed legs. The local food was well prepared and tasty.
We came as part of a tour and stayed one night. Yurts were well prepared, clean. Food was well prepared and was tasty. There is hot shower with plenty of hot water regardless to the time. The site is well situated for hikes near by. Highly recommend!

My feelings for this place fly a little higher than love. First, the place: you sleep in yurts on a broad beach on the southern side of Issy-Kul. The food is exceptional (vegetarians note, they like a lot of meat but there’s such an abundance you will still feast). The thermally warmed lake means you can swim comfortably beneath snow-capped Tien Shan peaks. The best thing is, there is nothing really...
I stayed here for one night and enjoyed it. The yurts are clean and cosy, the food was tasty and the scenery is awesome. Plus there is a good number of bathrooms and showers and they are all very clean.
What a great yurt camp this is!
Great location, amazing scenery
Super friendly staff
Dinner was wonderful and cosy all together
Yurts were heated and very charming
The view was breathtaking
We even enjoyed an eagle show and a bondfire at night and a swim in the morning
Also really liked the Ak Say Canyon viewpoint close to the camp
Excellent experience
We stopped here for the night on our road trip. Great location by the lake, amazing for stargazing! Ak Say canyon is good for hiking. The bathrooms were great, as well as showers!
the camp has a good location, against the Ak Say Canyon, fringed by the snowcapped Tien Shan mountains, and near to Issyk Kul shore. also, meals are tasty. shower and toilets are clean and communal. the drive towards the camp is an adventure itself. it begins from Ak Say village, through the eponymous canyon, and ends right before Issyk Kul lake shore. the journey takes around 45 min with stops....
A truly beautiful day experience that I wish to you. From the view, sleeping in a yurt, delicious food and the incredibly lovely people running it.

We had an amazing experience at Azamat’s yurt camp at Song-Kul Lake.
The yurts are very cozy, clean, and warm with a good heating system, so it was comfortable even during the night. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful – traditional meals made with fresh local products.
What made our stay truly special was the hospitality. Azamat and his team welcomed us warmly, helped with everything...
This yurt camp schalps ( it’s really good) food was served fresh and hot . The bed in the yurts were comfy. We went in early October and it was snowing so it got really really cold so remember to pack warm attire as it gets very cold at night.they also have a proper clean WC
The staff was also very friendly and helpful!
This yurt camp was excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke good English, which was a huge help. Our yurt was clean and cozy, the shared toilets were spotless, and the food was delicious. They even lit the stove at night so the yurt is not too cold.
The camp is right next to the lake, and they offer a horse riding experience that is definitely worth the extra cost.
They also have dogs...
Hosts speak great English, and make sure you feel welcome.
The yurt camp is further from the other ones, making it feel more calm and private. The yurts are the best from the ones we've visited in Kyrgyzstan. The beds are comfortable, enough blankets are provided, yurt has a stove for heating, and the decoration is pretty.
They food is decent. They offer horseback riding for 1 hour (1500som), 2 hour...
Such a unique and memorable stay in a yurt! Even though it got super cold at night (yes, even in July!), the staff kept the yurt nice and warm, so we slept really well. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and filling. We also did a sunset horseback ride—which was absolutely magical—and a peaceful morning walk to the lake with stunning views. Plus, the morning shower was warm and refreshing—much...

Best Yurt Camp I have been to in Kirghizstan!
Quiet, clean, warm, and close to Karakol. Ideally located to start trekking 🥰
Quality Breakfast included
Fantastic yurt camp surrounded by nature. The hospitality, helpfulness, and meals were all perfect! Highly recommended.
Despite a bit of trouble finding the place on our own (google marker was in wrong place but i've now submitted correction), we got there at midnight, and the host still welcomed us in. Simple, but wonderful, and to wake up in a setting next to a roaring river and surrounded by trees, stunning. 4x4 required to get there, and Russian speaking only.

This was my first yurt experience in my life, and it couldn’t have been a better one. Close to snacks, atm, and lovely help by the kind man working at the camp. Highly recommended.
Really nice “city yurt”, everything was very clean, it had electric heater and it was very cozy even on a cold night.
Owner was really nice as well as simple yet lovely breakfast, would highly recommend :)
Sleeping in a yurt seemed to be a strange idea, but it worked: I slept there better than anywhere else!. Good breakfast, friendly staff, hot showers, fast wifi. Very nice place.
Great yurt to stay! Clean and nice place to enjoy your holiday. Helpful and friendly host who give us lots of useful advice for our trekking trip.
We spent there three nights in tent and one in the yurt between treks. This camp is absolutely perfect with the manager being very nice and kind. He can arrange transport and give you necessary information about treks, schedules and prices. Breakfast are ordinary. Its a very cosy place to stay. 10/10
Location: nice and centrally located on the main road of Karakol. Easy to find because it's written outside in HUGE writing.
Room: Yurts were cold so we opted for a private room instead which came with an electric heater too! Beds were comfy with plenty of thick blankets p
Staff: Very friendly staff. Limited English but enough to get directions and arrange breakfast/laundry. After we left Turkestan...

My stay at this place was simply amazing. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. It’s one of the cleanest, most comfortable, and pleasant places I’ve ever stayed in, with daily cleaning that kept everything spotless. This place is stunning. Views are insane, food and staff are great and the yurt itself is very spacious and comfortable. You have your own shower/toilet, coffee and tea whenever you want and you can walk 2 minutes to go swimming in the lake. Couldn’t have asked for a more wholesome few days in Kyrgyzstan.
Great resort near the lake. very comfortable beds. shower and toilets per yurt outside every yurt. clean and easy.
I stayed at this beautiful yurt in Kyrgyzstan for 3 nights, and the experience was simply amazing!
The hosts were warm and welcoming, taking care of every little detail with a smile.
The yurt was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in authentic style, with breathtaking views all around.

Awesome place to stay... beautiful tents..keeps warm even with bony chill weather outside
I don't write often reviews but this place I truly appreciate and want to recommend. It offers an excellent balance between tradition, comfort and price.
The traditional yurts are equipped with modern private toilets and hot showers, heater and fast Internet.

Best part of our Kyrgyzstan trip. Amazing views all around, very yummy local food, very warm hosts, comfy yurts with hot water and heaters - couldn’t ask for more. When here don’t miss the horse riding, they take you around amazing sceneries showing different views of naryn
Really nice owner and staff. Every room has his own bathroom. Shower and toilet. Clean rooms. You even have a possibility to was hyour clothes.
The food was more then OK.
The owners speaks a mix between russian an english
Don't leave your shoes outside at night. A dod could steal it. The owner was eager to help and we found the shoes!!
Yurt camp As a Nomad surprised very positively. The staff is very polite and always eager to help. Yurts are clean and tidy. Bathrooms are perfect. I really liked their solution for illumination of the yurts. The floor-to-top window just next to the door is genius. In the future I would like to see more sustainable energy there.

Wonderful Stay for a Cycling Group at Karkara Glamping!
We were looking for a place for our cycling group to stay near Karkyra and chose Karkara Glamping (Karkyra, Kyrgyzstan)—absolutely no regrets. This is a yurt camp in Kyrgyzstan where it’s comfortable to sleep, easy to wake up early, and great for lots of hiking.
The yurts are clean and warm; they are especially cozy at night. Bedding is new and...
The camp is located in a very beautiful valley, with a lot of possibilities for activities. We visited in the off season, and the staff was very nice, and there is also a good doggo and some calm horses you can ride. The yurt was an amazing place to sleep - make sure to watch the sunrise and take a walk in the hills. The staff also helped us when we had an issue with our rental car. Wish i could have...
A wonderful glamping experience! Was certainly the best accommodation during our one week tour. The yurt room is tastefully furnished and many amenities provided.
Location is quiet and peaceful and a lovely place for walks.
Meals were provided which were pretty good with adequate choices.
Would strongly recommend this place!
I was lucky as I could book this hotel at a good rate. The room (yurt) was fantastic. Most of staff here couldn't speak English. So, I feel a little bit ignored. But if you speak their language, this hotel will be a good choice.
Yurts were fantastic - lovely, warm, comfy. Food was excellent too. Service was a little unusual by Western standards, but appreciated the support from the host :) Excellent walks nearby in the Karkyra Gorge (only 5mins drive away along the river)

The location is, of course, fantastic — right near Lenin Peak. The yurts are well equipped, with underfloor heating and private bathrooms.
Unfortunately, the food service is very poor: just 45 minutes after each mealtime starts, the dining hall is already completely overcrowded and there’s barely any food left. Even basics like cups, glasses, and cutlery are constantly in short supply.
