At some point you get accustomed and don't pay the attention anymore, but in the beginning it may be disturbing. I am sensitive to light, and didn't have any problems with that. I have stayed in both twin rooms

The hostel has an ironing board, a washing machine, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, etc. We take off shoes at the entrance and leave them on the rack. We keep it clean) The water was always hot, with good pressure

This is an apartment converted into a hostel. The first twin room is right at the entrance door, with windows facing the courtyard. It's usually quiet there, but any guest coming in or out will be heard

The city view is nice at night. Further down the hallway is the dorm room, to the right is the kitchen, toilet, bath, and next to it another twin room

The beds are comfortable, the rooms have heaters, hangers, air conditioning, a desk suitable for working or as shelves) It might be a bit cramped for two in a twin room, but very comfortable for one

If you plan to go on daily tours with KG Country company, it's very convenient - their meeting point is just a 15-minute walk from the hostel. For Kettik KG, their meeting point is a 25-minute walk

The staff very useful and kind with the knowledge about local attractions. We could leave our rucksack for 2 days (3 days horse trip). I have forgotten my sandals - a young man was going to bus station and gave it to me

Great place to stay, really cheap dormitory (500 som) and breakfast (100 som). The room is simple, but clean, and there is lockers available. The bathroom is good too, with hot water and pressure

Cute hostel. There's an 8 bed dorm and a 6 bed dorm and a private 2 bed twin room. Decent shower and proper toilet in the main building. Extra ones outside. Comfortable and friendly owner

Very nice place to stay - rooms are super clean, there are three bathrooms (so no waiting in queues), an aircon in the room, a lovely garden where you can eat or just relax, the kitchen is available (plus a water filter so you can save on buying single use plastic bottles of water), laundry service is also available at 200 som only

Friendly, helpful hosts, and a tranquil setting (for the city). Wifi, breakfast, decent shower, secure parking, and cleanliness all made for a great stay over three nights. Great value, and highly recommended.

Breakfast costs extra with lots of choices on offer but order it the night before. The owners don't speak much English but make excellent use of Google Translate. It's a no-shoes house so leave them outside

Good place if you are traveling by bicycle! Quiet, with space to clean or repair things (there is a very Big and beautiful garden). Clean roooms, you can use the kitchen, shower and very good wifi.

Off-road gated parking available for a few vehicles. The house is nice and open with good sized rooms, good beds, and shared bathroom. The WiFi can be patchy but is good when it works

WiFi is fast, storage facilities for those who’s going to the mountains to come back later is available as well

Awesome, loved the location, central to everything. The staff was great, very helpful and can speak Russian and English fluently. Would definitely recommend to any groups travelling to Issyk-Kul on a budget.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Cholpon Ata. Location is great, very close to the Issyk-Kul lake and we liked the fact that this is a very small hostel. There is a nice garden with a good place to hang out

Nice kitchen, lounge area, decent warm beds despite the cold, excellent location near bus station (west and east) and easy to get to mountains, easy to lake, couldnt ask for more :))))

Location: centrally located in the heart of Cholpon Ata. There is a supermarket across the road. Room: The dorm rooms have 2 bunk beds with enough room to store your luggage

There's parking and a swing set. The kitchen is shared with the hosts, so if there are a lot of guests, there'll be a line. The host provides taxi service

We slept at nice hotel in September for a few nights the place is very comfortable and offers beds in a dorms as well as yurt and place for a tent the staff here is very helpful and nice, very cheap place that includes a kitchen in the price very recommended

Nice place to stay (pun intended). Kitchen was big with 2 cooking areas and 2 fridges. We left our extra luggage there for our hikes and the host has a seperate locked storage room

I had one of the best experiences possible at this hostel. Jannil and her husband are so attentive. They work hard but always take the time to look after guests and answer their questions

People who stay here are usually very nice to talk to. You can buy food from fridge for very fine prices, just few SOMs more than in market. You can get here by Marshutka 102

What's more, they know a great deal about the region. The rooms are very comfortable and you have all the privacy you need. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Really great place to relax & unwind upon entering Kyrgyzstan from the Pamirs. Hot water, great food, washing machine and a stove in every room to keep warm at night. Run by a really nice family & english spoken.

REAL SHOWER, REAL INDOOR TOILET ( but an outdoor toilet is available if you want ;) ) and possibility of a laundry for only 200som. We are cyclists usually camping and this was a really nice treat

The hostel is great as well as the service. Unfortunately the kitchen facilities were poor / broken at the time of staying. No oven, no stove just microwave. But still can really recommend the place

The garden is beautiful and full of fruit you can pick. Make sure to have dinner there, it's superior tasty. In summer the grandson of the owners is also there and can translate his grandfather's stories.
