As if served in the Soviet Union. But everything is clean and tidy. The treatment and procedures are all up to par. The resort staff are friendly. Excellent free time fishing in the bay. I recommend visiting.

Simply great! It is located on the most beautiful land! Panoramic view! Fresh air! Lakes in front, mountains behind! Night walks! Shashlik! This can be repeated all the time. I advise you to come and relax!

I put 5 stars becuase of the nature and the place where it is situated. Of course here you can find some guest houses of soviet period, conditions are of middle avarage if you want them. But what you will get if you choose this side of the lake, a beautiful nature, even wild. You can explore yourself in finding new skills how to get use to the nature toilet, how to stay without shower for couple...

Nice, quiet place. Clean area. Cheerful companies have nothing to do. Only very adults and mothers with children will appreciate this place. It was built in 1932, and everything remains that way))))

Super nice and welcoming family, the mother and grandmother are one of the sweetest people I've met in Kyrgyzstan!

Such a joy to stay here. The family was so welcoming and the mom speaks great English, the kids were super adorable, and there was space for me to keep my horse in the backyard! I was offered tea and bread and jam, as always, and the bathroom is clean and has hot water and a washing machine (extra charge) if you need clean clothes. The guest room is 4 beds, nothing special but comfortable mattresses...

We stayed at Happy Hostel for two nights while climbing in the beautiful Barskoon valley each day. We found our stay to be extremely pleasant and were very well looked after, the host even rescued us after we had got stuck out after dark, and then cooked us a tasty dinner! A real Kyrgyz family home stay experience, would recommend.

A good place! Cozy and friendly!

The garden is beautiful and full of fruit you can pick. Make sure to have dinner there, it's superior tasty. In summer the grandson of the owners is also there and can translate his grandfather's stories.

It's cool here, the bus takes away every half hour, they feed enough 3 times a day, it's calm, the air is fresh, krch is great 😍

We had a pleasant two-night stay at Sham. Booking directly via WhatsApp was easy, and they were helpful in answering our questions while planning the trip. We stayed in a lake view room, the view was lovely and peaceful. Both evenings, we picked up takeaway dinner and ate on the balcony, enjoying the scenery and sunset over Issyk Kul. I really enjoyed my stay at Shams. The hotel offers an amazing view of the lake, which made the experience unforgettable. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the service is always attentive and friendly. Everything was well-organized, and I felt truly welcomed during my stay. A wonderful place with a cozy atmosphere. We've been twice, and both times we were impressed. The second time, we went with a large family, and everyone loved it. Delicious breakfasts and dinners with sunset and lake views. We recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there yet.

I didn’t stay at the hotel itself, but I visited the restaurant a couple of times during my time around Issyk-Kul. The hotel is still partially under construction, but even at this stage it looks ambitious and has the feel of somewhere that could become one of the area’s standout places to stay. Modern room. Take note not all rooms have lake view. No mineral water bottle so had to refill using dispenser beside the lift. No TV but it's ok. Staff were nice and friendly. Amazing yourt camp on the sourt shore of Issyk-Kul!. We stayed here with kids and loved the authentic nomadic experience. The youths are clean and cozy, the staff is very welcoming, and the rare is beautiful. Perfect for families who want to experience Kyrgyz culture and nature .Highly recommended if you want something different from regular hotels!

Brand new building hotel with Issyk kul lake view. Still some construction outside building. Fresh bright room. Simple breakfast. Just pity the hot water is not hot. Alrdy complain to reception, still same in morning as well. Our group also have dinner here, but food is bad, again so pity.

Responsive staff and beautiful garden. Good heating at night.

This is a mini hotel with different conditions in the rooms. We lived with our family in a “comfort” room, 1,300 soms for one person per night (5,200 soms for four). Two rooms, shared shower and toilet. One room has a double bed, the other has two single beds, a refrigerator, TV, soap, towels for everyone. It's a shame that there wasn't a closet to put things in, or at least hangers with hooks to hang...

A wonderful, welcoming, and cozy home. The rooms are very clean, the hostess Elena is a warm person, the breakfasts are delicious and healthy, and Natalia's garden deserves special praise—so much work and care has gone into this place. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back.

A great place for a family vacation, and not only that, the rooms are very clean, the bedding is good, and it's cozy. The grounds are beautiful and green, with gazebos. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved everything and want to come back.

Rooms were basic a little on the small side but clean and comfortable. Originally built by a Kazakhstani film-maker as somewhere for actors and crew to stay while on location. We should provide context to the review as previously we had stayed in a very nice 4* hotel in Bishkek and were anticipating a similar standard. Beutyful place but no air in the room and not so clean.

Interesting place with lots of vintage stuff. Short small beds and tiny rooms. Your window is on the same open corridor where other guests go. Very kind and attentive hosts yet I consider this hotel overpriced for not comfortable lodging.

Great museumlike place with nice and clean rooms

I had one of a kind experience at Taj Altyn. Thank you Raj for taking so good care of us. The place is beautifully maintained unlike most of the hotel. Me and my family loved sitting under the tapchans with fruit trees all around.

The room is generally not bad, initially clean, but they do not clean at all, you have to ask for everything you need (kettle, mugs, garbage bag, toilet paper) yourself. There is an unpleasant smell in the room, most likely from the sewer. I would say Taj Altyn is one of the best hotels in Kaji-Say. The rooms are super clean and fresh.The location is excellent as it is within 5 minutes of walking distance to the beach and shops around. The location of the hotel is quite strategic and the lake bank is just 100 meters from the hotel. Rooms are spacious. The beddings are neat and clean. Food is delicious. Must visit place if one is visiting Kaji Say.

We stayed at Taj Altyn for two nights. The location is convenient to visit main sights in the area (like the fairy tale canyon and the lake shore). The hotel is almost brand new, clean and has everything you need. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help. We loved the fruit trees in the garden.
