Hotel Sultan Jalal-Abad in Dzhalal-Abad

- persistent problems with water: periodically no hot water / very weak water pressure (see photos and other comments from hotel guests)
- no reception: to check in / check out, you need to go to the reception of another hotel (150-200 meters), from where you will be escorted to your hotel
- one person works at the reception of this hotel, who checks in each guest with escort to the room, and runs around solving problems with water. Check-in takes up to 20-25 minutes.
- the windows of the rooms where you are initially offered to check in face a very noisy road. You can't sleep with the window open
- when checking into the room, they found a dried-up used tea bag on a saucer and a dirty cup

Before booking a room, I called the hotel and asked if everything was fine with hot water. They answered yes. Booked a room, arrived, settled. The water in the shower was cool, lathering my head, I noticed that the water had become warmer, but the pressure had completely disappeared. In a panic, she began to wash off the foam, but then the water from the watering can disappeared altogether. The rain shower didn't work at all. In the common corridor, they listened to the cries of other guests with questions about whether there is pressure and water in principle. Over the next 20 minutes, standing in the shower all in the foam that began to drain into my eyes, I called the reception, they promised to figure it out. From the window they saw how the only girl at the reception was running around the hotel and trying to solve the problem with water. Then she wiped the foam with a towel and as soon as a little water appeared in the tap, she ran to wash it off her hair as soon as possible. After 40 minutes, the issue was still not resolved. We offered to move us to a nearby hotel of a higher quality of the same chain or return the money. The manager refused to relocate to another hotel, they agreed to return the money. At the reception they said that this is not a hotel problem, but a breakdown in the whole city. We checked into a nearby hotel 10 minutes away - Kok Art, where everything was fine with water and finally managed to wash our hair and wash off the foam and sun cream. Draw your own conclusions, but such a hotel is definitely not worth $40.

Expensive even in Europe cheaper than in this wilderness

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Checked in on 05/08/22
1. No hot water, almost no water pressure. If you plan to wash in this hotel, you will not be able to do it normally.
2. The first thing I saw in the room was a used tea bag and a dirty cup. "Great" housekeeping.
3. If you don't know for sure where the hotel is, it's hard to find it.
