Travel Around Guest House in Kochkor

I can’t recommend this guesthouse enough.

From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed. Barkul and her family are incredibly warm, kind, and genuine people who made my stay in Kochkor so special. They speak excellent English, which made everything easy, from travel advice to transport arrangements and local recommendations.

The house is spotless, the rooms are spacious with amazing views, and everything is very comfortable. There are also nice common areas to relax or spend time with friends, plus laundry service which was very convenient.

Location is perfect, just a short walk from the center of Kochkor, with easy access to shops and restaurants.

Breakfast was delicious every morning and felt homemade with care.

A special mention to their son, Kaniet, who organizes horse tours to Song-Kol. Joining his tour was one of the highlights of my trip in Kyrgyzstan, professional, fun, and truly unforgettable. Highly recommended.

Thank you to the whole family for your incredible hospitality. I left feeling very grateful and would definitely stay here again.

Would 100% recommend this place to any travellers passing through Kochkor. Friendly hosts who respond promptly to any wuestions. Clean, cosy and spacious rooms. Clean shared bathroom facilities. What more do you need?
