The Sandyk Hotel in At Bashy is a newly renovated hotel. Breakfast is freshly prepared and very tasty. Staff are available 24/7. It's a little difficult to find, as the hotel is on the second floor and there's a construction site downstairs. The surrounding area is quite run-down.

Great place to stay if you're visiting around At-Bashy or Naryn. It is very comfortable and the hosts are really nice.

On the outside this place looks great. Unfortunately maintenance is not great. Our room had a faulty light. So out of 2 only one worked or if they left the second one connected it bright flashed all night. The bathroom tiling is degrading, this will leak onto the room below. Excellent hotel with exqusitely - kept rooms, managed by a friendly and efficient staff in a picturesque setting. Centrally located, within driving distance of Issey-Kul. The owner is a charming lady, who adds a personal touch to the property.

Cyclists, be warned! As of August 2022, this hotel consists of multiple buildings, and unfortunately the newest building (Grand Khan Tengri) has anti-bike policies, no safe storage and extremely rude staff. Very nice hotel in naryn. Possibly the best in terms of comfort and location. It was such a relieve to be in this hotel after spending 6 nights in yurt camps with no comfort, no shower. The mountains around naryn are reddish color which is pretty amazing to see.

This hotel is located just beside the main road. Although it is quite old, but it is comfortable. There is no elevator, so need to wait a bit for the big luggage bags to be brought up to the room. Room is well equipped with heater and hot shower. The mattress and duvet are not too fancy, but they are comfortable. Breakfast spread is okay. Good experience to be here.

This hotel is brand new, they just opened this new branch in Kochkor after having a succesful hotel in Bishkek. There were lots of works going on and moving furniture inside the rooms. But I was happy that I was being able to stay here out of season. The owner was incredibly friendly and so hospitable! I can highly recommend staying here when in Kochkor!

There was no water during our stay and the internet and power were patchy. We left one day earlier as this was unacceptable but still had to pay essentially full price (-200soms, symbolic but insignificant) for our intended 2 night stay. Very friendly and helpful — they assisted us in getting to the starting point of the Kol-Ukok hike for 600 soms. The home is welcoming and cozy, and you really feel like you’re experiencing true Kyrgyz hospitality. Breakfast included. Diner is possible (and very good) for 500 soms

The owner speck very good English, he picked us up at the bus station. The facilities in the house were very complete, and the breakfast was delicious. I was injured couldn’t walk well after falling off a horse at Songhu Lake, so the owner helped me to bring my luggage to bus station from guest house to the bus station. They are very kind family. We stayed 2 nights here both before and after the 3 day horse trek to Song Kul. Lovely place. Our 2 bed yurt was really nice, nice bedding, well spaced. Really nice owner and staff. Every room has his own bathroom. Shower and toilet. Clean rooms. You even have a possibility to was hyour clothes. The food was more then OK. Yurt camp As a Nomad surprised very positively. The staff is very polite and always eager to help. Yurts are clean and tidy. Bathrooms are perfect. I really liked their solution for illumination of the yurts. The floor-to-top window just next to the door is genius. In the future I would like to see more sustainable energy there.

The yurts were by far the nicest we saw — beautifully decorated and very cozy. They even lit the fireplace for us, so we slept perfectly. This was the best Yurt Camp we stayed in the entire country! Thanks to Yuri and the team for their incredible hospitality and kindness. Yurts are very confortable, including a private en-suite bathroom. The whole camp is so pretty, clean, and well taken care of, with attention to every small detail. The food was also amazing. We stayed here on our way to Tash-Rabat. Very clean and comfortable yurts. Luxurious with private toilets, WiFi and access to a sauna. The staff were extremely hospitable, and the food was very good. This place is highly recommended.

This hostel is nothing special in terms of quality of rooms or bathroom. But there is the warmest and the loveliest housewife (babushka) we met in whole Kyrgyzstan. She prepered for us very good breakfast and tea/coffee. We were there in June and during the night it still can get little bit cold during the night. But duvet was very warm and we enjoyed the night in nice heat.

Recently, my friends and I spent a night at the Ak-Sai Travel yurt camp on Lake Son-Kul (Son-Kul / Song-Kul), Naryn Region, Tian Shan, Kyrgyzstan it was magical. The travel company Ak-Sai has created great infrastructure for their client tours, with a large kitchen and services shed, and several yurts setup in a semi-circle nearby. We lived one of our most unforgettable experiences here. The view from the camp on the lake is majestic, and just the sheer experience of sleeping in a jurt -be it probably a deluxe version - is already worth the trip. The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. Food is standard, but delicious after a day of trekking or horse-riding, which they can help organize.

The lady who runs this place also runs the tourism office at Kochkor, so it is very convenient to organise stuff around at good prices. She speaks perfect English. The place is comfortable and well taken care of. The only minor downside is that there is only one shared bathroom and many rooms.
