Shikarnoe glamorous place. The interior is on the level. The staff is polite. 5 stars

Administration service horrible (did not understood native language, not English, not Russian, or any other language)

In the beginning she asked money for breakfast - when we convinced that it is already price included, then she forced to pay for towels so that we can go in shower in room (????)

But the reception needs serious improvement: the receptionist wasn’t professional, struggled with English, and the check-in took far longer than it should

However, I will most probably not return to the hotel as it was totally different style from my preference. The breakfast was only possible to order to room

The hotel itself is excellent — amazing rooms, great spa, and overall a very comfortable experience

Lady on reception table friendly, helpful and cute. Comfortable mattress cold inside during night time,no night curtains so couldn't fall asleep until was light outside. and blanket was stinking like dirty socks

The location is perfect. I came to take a course in the building next door. The view from the room was amazing, with access to the balcony. I loved it!

The hotel was far away from the city center, but there was busses passing by frequently. Staff was not there from levening (20:00) to the morning (08:00)

So as long as all the guest show respect to eachother its a good hotel

We were not staying at this hotel but we had come to Jurmala that day to see the Baltic Sea. After briefly wading into the beautiful sea on a rainy day, we decided to have breakfast at the Baltic Sea Hotel and Spa

I liked the food in small cafe at the entrance, more than at the restaurant. Also great inner courtyard, protected from the winds. SPA is very good: several saunas and large swimming pool

We chose not to partake of the buffet. Instead, we ordered pancakes with salmon caviar, which came with a serving of sour cream (it was particularly exciting to eat caviar in a former Soviet Union member country)

Great stay, fourth summer staying here. Highly recommend! Excellent breakfast with waiters you will find nowhere. Sunbeds and beach umbrellas a plus! Short walk to great restaurants and Dzintari Konzert Hall

Our waitress was very helpful and did an overall excellent job. The main thing was the view: we were seated by the window, so we looked out over the vast and beautiful Baltic Sea

Road trip stop Stayed one night, comfortable, no noisier then most hotels. Recommend as a basic, no frills room.

Solid hotel for the price, no complaints. Clean, good service, good breakfast. Would definately visit again. If you're a light sleeper, best take earplugs as the walls are quite thin.

This place has a wonderful restaurant! The food is quite tasty and the service was pretty nice. My flank steak was cooked well and had a beautiful crisp on the outside while being juicy and tender on the inside

Pet friedly?! Nice environment when traveling with dogs, but pet staying was verry overprised based on reason which I think is much more caused by people (including those traveling without pets).

If you visit for just dinner or for a special event, you won't be disappointed, it is quality ingredients, friendly staff and good location

I need more space, normal bed, normal TV with YouTube and Weather , normal Shower Cabin (this very small for man 185/85kg) All super, Tip Top in Europe this cost more than here. Only rooms I don’t like :)))))

Good Rehabilitation centre, I don’t like rooms. Order 1 person Room it’s cost more euros(that 2 person room), but have absolutely the same Room just nobody living with me!! Phh

It's really historical recreation center of Jurmala and Latvia. Here you can enjoy amazing mud applications, mineral baths, underwater massage, classic massage and different therapy applications

Settlement nearby less than 30min walk (bus available) Great beach nearby and lots of tracks for bikes (can be rented at nearby Neptune restaurant or in the town of Kaugari)

Also pleasant place to swim and play beach sports!!! Sports facilities are limited but there is a gym and one can rent tennis for 15€ an hour in the neighbouring health centre

Excellent range of medical facilities make this the one effect place for medical treatment and a great place to meet grandparents, great grandparents etc

Modern rooms on the top feature everything one needs and cheap prices in Latvian shops nearby mean that one will have a pleasant experience regardless

Good food 3 times a day with cheap food on 9th floor up to 6-7pm and more expensive (but still reasonable) food downstairs until later

Clean,comfortable,courteous staff (they speak Russian). In my room (single) was a good shower, big bed,in the closet, a spare blanket,air conditioning,a small fridge with Minibar. Also liked the location of the hotel

Nearby is a beautiful Park,shops and cafes. You can walk to the Old town (I walk not tired). On TV only 3 or 4 channels in Russian,but I don't watch TV arrived)Breakfast was Very good,varied

Rather small SPA, but very comfortable, the roman sauna here is one the best i have visited. Very liked the outside swimming pool, nice views. Take kids with you.

It was a bit unusual that there wasn't bottled water in the room, but there was drinking water available directly from the bathroom tap, which we learned from a small sign by the sink

The hotel has a great location right in the centre of the pedestrian zone - all the restaurants of Jurmala, a wonderful pine park, beach, cosy local shops, Dzintary concert hall are just around the corner

Marie are beautifully decorated, the bed is comfortable, and the small kitchen is convenient. It’s not very far from the train station and an easy walk to the beach

A very important point for me personally is the coffee machine - in the mornings you can enjoy your first espresso on the loggia without leaving the room

We loved our family stay in Sunset hotel very much. Just about 200 metres to the beach. Private parking available. Soundproof rooms. Very friendly and pleasant owner.

We had a mix up with our end of the reservation and they were still willing to keep good service level and I cant do anything but recommend Sunset for accommondation

The Sunset Hotel is a perfect base camp for adventures in Jurmala. Nothing too fancy but the receptionist Anzor will do anything that you can enjoy your stay

There's market very close to this hotel, and it has everything. That place has food courts, cafe. etc But coffee place and small convenience store is also walking distance

In the room, there are kettle and fridge, microwave, dishes and cutlery, so even if you think you would like to stay in Latvia for long periods, it would be a good place

Reception is available from 8am - 9pm so if you would like to access to the hotel outside of this time, you need to do self check-in, but it was very easy process
