Resort - Rehabilitation Center Jaunķemeri in Jurmala

Unfortunately but I have to leave 1star for this misunderstanding place. Brought my 3year old son from LT to LV rehabilitation as he was terribly sick in the last 2years. First of all I was send to a local doctor to get a permission to buy some procedures for him - which is total fine. Spend 3extra days to get and finally went back to rehabilitation to buy a package of procedures to my son. Coming to procedure at the time it was set, but NO ONE IS THERE, waiting for another 30min and trying to figure out what's going on, but no answers.. coming back to the reception, honestly they were super nice to me, but everything I was - try to wait for another session which is in 30min.. or try to fill for a complaint and ask for refund.. I don't mind to wait if I would be alone, but try to do it when you are there with a toddler.. I'm driving so far with a kid to get his health back not to have a fun drive while it's windy, cold and rainy outside. Absolutely unprofessional place! Not recommending this place, don't waste your time and health for this non sense place

Hi, this wasn’t my stay. It was my 97 years old granddad that was admitted to recover from broken hip. First of all the service was questionable. And I do understand the constrains the COVID has caused. However the money was paid up front for the exercises, but after extension of stay was extended, the paperwork was missed so he missed 3 days of physio. Communication was far from ideal, with doctor only being there part time. Toward the end of the second 10 day stay it was already made clear to us that they would rather get rid of him than to continue the treatments. Even though it was agreed to keep him on for a couple more days to give us time to find other arrangements, miraculously we received a phone call on the last paid day that he need to be taken to a nearby hospital by an ambulance. So the question stands how could they get their patient that is supposed to be recovering to the state that he needed to be taken to the hospital? Also after arriving to the hospital all the test came out fine ( of course considering the age). And another thing that it took them awhile to actually notify us about him being taken to hospital, as by the time the came though hospital already admitted him and ran test.
To be honest I’m outraged about the treatment that my granddad received. Just because of his age.
Might I add the fees are not cheap, and to be frank I doubt he received all the physiotherapy we have paid for.
Just keep that in mind, as it is hard right now with COVID for us not to be able to visit loved one in person, but it seems this place just is taking advantage of this situation!

The procedure was ok but the condition of the room and shower was under any critique. The shower was broken, floors dirty and without slippers, cold. I doubt the hygienic condition. The entire place had a bad smell, furthermore the staff was impolite. Zero relaxation, disappointment and way overpriced for the service they provide.
